I remember getting pissed that the Beta page didn't have timestamps, now I've completely forgotten what it feels like to work with timestamps cheesy, these new additions should be interesting.

For those who complained about starting a work all over again after spending several hours on it. This is what happened; you changed browser. When you start a work with Chrome, for example, end it in chrome. Don't go and continue in an Opera mini. This is applied to either phone or laptop. If you start a work on a laptop, finish it on a laptop. Don't ever continue on a phone.

Don't come here again and start wailing of starting a job all over again, please.
I've decided to enlighten you guys more.
LMAO grin grin
Enlighten, he said. cool

They started yesterday or so.

When it happened to me yesterday i almost shed tears.

But i think it's for the best.

Now, if you pick a call but don't want to use your relates token they will help you make it expire.

Hmm... True though.
But it could also be a disadvantage.
Anyhow, now we'll adapt.
Like we always do.

Heed the advice o... Same thing happened to me this morning. As is my custom, I'd claim a call and leave it some hours before I settle down to work. But today was a different case. I came after about 3hrs to start working on the job, only to find the job had been released.

If you claim a call and you intend to leave for any reason, ensure you use the prevent inactivity button
. I'm not pained, because, I'd not started working on the call yet... cool
Lol.. you no lose.
But yeah, I get what you are saying.

So yesterday I picked a long call with 20hrs allotted time Fcc uk, was clear enough and pay was $6+ with just 154 statements. did half and slept to continue this morning. Upon resumption this morning, behold I got "This call has expired" and it was automatically released.

Moral of the story: If you're working on a long call and wont finish it at one sitting. Ensure you RESERVE the call for inactivity. This is why experience is sometimes not the best teacher. How do I pay for the $6 I have already spend in my dream.
That last bit is quite funny. grin
Though that prevent inactivity Timeout button hasn't been of much use to me, cos I leave calls overnight a lot, especially long ones , my calls have never expired, I don't know if it's just luck or whatever.

If the email address was spelt out, please spell it. If it was mentioned alone, transcribe it. If it was mentioned and spelled, transcribe it and spell it out too.
Overall, make sure you're turning in a transcript that is easy to read and understand.
Never have I ever transcribed an email like the way they spell it out, even when they are using the echo, papa, alpha and all of that, I just take that correct spelling and write it in the correct email format, simples, cos I can't be typing A-B-C-D@efghmail.com, just seems odd to me. Has worked for me so far.

Oh... This is the format I use and they've never penalized me before.
You do have to bear in mind that there are different people rating this thing, so it's really inconsistent sometimes, and I've noticed that myself. Some of their SCCs are really strict, going into very tiny details, detailsI know I've gotten away with on other transcripts, even gotten a 5!
So just do your own part in making sure you submit your best work, there's not much you can do about these things, it pisses me off sometimes, but it is what it is.

I asked this because I did just as you said now, but I was penalized for doing that. The rating note said "Transcribe spelled out words as mentioned by the speaker." And there was another time I just transcribed it as it was spelled out, but they still said "email address format not followed." Maybe I will just transcribe the spelled out words and still bring them together to follow the email format next time. Me I no understand again ooo

As long as it's an email address, I ignore all the spelling and amd just write the email in the correct format, has worked for me so far.

Hi, is there any real advantage ordering a xiaomi from AliExpress, Cor I don't really see that much of a price difference with the ones being sold in spot and the other stores, plus the long wait to get stuff delivered, or am.i looking at the wrong links?

e be like sey long calls better pass short calls. i have been running away from long calls and doing <4mins call.

make una no vex o, but wetin be the pro/con of doing long calls, asides the obvious time length?

i'm guessing the calls are clearer or something? or what exactly, i wan port with immediate alacrity

From my own small experience.
Longer calls are better, you'll notice that in "some" of those long calls there are lots of breaks as a result of placing callers on hold and stuff, plus there is more room to use the [...] For inaudibles, and more money grin grin
Picked a 32 min Fc/ ,UK call and the total conversation wasn't even up to 15 mins, was done in no time, allowing me to do even more minutes per day than I usually do.

Tried out a 26 minute call. Worked it finish, since morning and I was waiting for my 5. Till I got a 2, this evening. The rating note didn't even make sense, see it in the screenshot below. I was wondering where I went wrong, decided to resubmit it just for the sake of trying, because I was tired. As I was going, I saw a mistake I made, a repetition. I transcribed "just" twice, so I fixed it, submitted it and was waiting for another 2, or 3 at least. Lo and behold, I got a 4. Can you imagine? Just because of a repetition, see the rating I got fa. This is the only rating I feel like I didn't deserve.
This is funny though...
Never seen anything like this before. grin

Thanks alot. I have done that but I can just see my average rating, total minutes n total dollars earned...I thought there is a place I can go to see the specific ratings and why I was rated what I saw.
NB: I started last night, have transcribed just 2 calls and I got 3 and 4...I jus wanted to know why I got those and take my corrections.
