No need to send her that. Just concentrate on making your money. Moreover, she's aware that a lot of folks do use mobile phones. Just be professional at slack, then bring any discussion back here. Simple.

Forget the money made, concentrate on the ratings. And that's definitely not with a laptop, but a phone. Not having a laptop is not an excuse. Motivate yourself with that screenshot. Will take it done soon.

hehe.. they don't know, I wish I could tag Arlen to this, Lmao, or maybe send her a screenshot of my profile, so she can see the endless possibilities of a mobile phone grin .

Lol you are funny.

First of all, have you seen that he hardly comments on this thread and nairaland as a whole?

What do you think he is doing Monday to Sunday?

You can hit the same minutes if you are not picky with calls, are fast and dedicate most of your time throughout the day to the job.

The keyphrase here is : "Not picky with jobs"

By the time most of you are waiting for American calls, he has done one or two Fc uk calls.

I think what's really key here is not being picky with calls, and of course discipline and some fast typing. I remember some 2 months ago, when 200 min was like hitting a landmark for me grin grin.. now it's the bare minimum, cos I have doubled that a couple of times in the past 3 weeks or so. So for anyone doubting the possibility of racking up 600+ mins, think again. All depends on how much you are willing to sacrifice for the job. It's as simple as that.

I seriously don't understand why y'all keep asking "should I update" grin
You see an update, you check what's new, if you like it, update, as updates are meant to improve user experience, if you are not feeling what's new, don't update. Surely it's that simple.

What Keyboard do you use on your phone?

Instead of breaking it into smaller segments just use the copy all and delete all buttons on next app for the whole work. It takes it all off once.

press Fn you'll see a box with ^A and another with ^x at the top.
I use the almighty Google keyboard stock grin, cos the AI is super smart and I guess the keyboard is very convenient for me.
When I say segments, I mean like 3 to 4 , just to make deletion easier, cos if I select all and delete or cut on that auto transcript, it doesn't work, so I segment it a little to make it obey. cheesy

Please oo, someone should help me out here.
I joined Qa because of boredom 2 days ago. And honestly, so far so good. I've successfully finished 2 jobs with a rating of 4. I was on my 3rd yesterday but my time elapsed (I have a hyperactive toddler & currently far gone in my second pregnancy). And since then, the number of calls dropped significantly. From 600 and something to just 5 or 6 when I refresh. And even worse, since yesternight till now, there are no calls to edit at all.

Is there something I'm not doing right? I'm willing to learn. Please don't read and ignore

LoL... you aren't doing anything wrong, it's quite normal to have fewer calls on Sunday/Monday morning, it will pick up later, and besides, the amount of calls you see on your queue is dependent on the level you are at. So it's bronze, silver.....
Just read the portion in the FAQ where it talks about badges.

It's extra carefulness. Efosa suggested copying and pasting the transcripts in another chat bubble and then editting there. I was going to try that but I felt I .

The key is c avoid touching the timestamp. So my advice once you see score of 1 and it's cus by this same problem just leave the redo alone. It's easier for PC users but this new platform will be more strenous on smart phone users but like shite faced Arlen said QA is not meant to be used on a smart phone or tablet. Anyone else who had this like it was Samsard. LMAO JK man JK man lol

Arlen and I went back and forth on thus smartphone issue leading to the removal of my old account on Slack grin.

So this is what I do and since nwafresh said we should share , this is my own hack.
So I work strictly on my smartphone, and it's been quite easy for me.
What I do is I simply break the auto transcripts into smaller section and then I select all and delete all the way to the first bubble, that's the only way to successfully delete those irritating timestamps, that first bubble will still contain the very first timestamp which cannot be deleted, that's way you can start fresh and create your own Cus/rep chat bubble as normal. I tried it first on that Friday with a 3 min call, was rated 4, been doing that ever since, and have only got ratings of 4s& 5s.
So for me it's like nothing changed, because the mobile page doesn't even have the loop, play snippet at the bottom of the screen, so for me it's been business as usual.
So when she kept saying it's for PC only and bla bla, I had to check her, Pau C was surprised that it could actually be done on a smartphone. Lol welcome to Nigeria grin

PS I use Chrome browser.

Check when thr mail came in, if you are sure the time hasn't elapsed, then go on Slack and complain ASAP.

Is it still getting failed like right now? All this Philippines oyinbo and their tech. I mean if something works just fine, keep it that way and if u want to do updates just make the site a bit finer and maybe less data consumption. Idk sha they know best cus right my rating don fall go 2.3 to pick another call is scary cus you don't know what you'll get.
I don't know, cos all my calls have been rated well, without any issues concerning auto transcripts or whatever. I use mobile phone though.

Wow. Was it that serious?
Yeah, probably for her though, cos for me I was just making her know that the new snippet thing was not making any sense, especially for smartphone users, I think she was really stressed too grin cos everybody was complaining about the failure of their unnecessary updates, and how scripts were being submitted with the auto transcripts and all that jazz.
She went on about how the site is adapted to PC users and everyone should have one, bla bla.
Then I'm like if it's so adapted to PC users why are they getting failed submissions.. grin
Pau C even joined the convo.

Sometimes I feel she likes to dish it out, but can't take some. But I like her clap backs sometimes though, grin it's fun.
