Today 17th of April 2018 was meant to be the councillorship election in ONELGA. As usual aspirants bought forms and paid tax clearance amounting to 500,000 naira. Last week Tuesday the aspirants were called for vetting and the ones that sailed through were invited to the government house in Rivers state by Governor Nyesom Wike, he advised everybody to go to the polls.

Today being the election GO-ROUND and house of reps member Uche Nnam-obi connived and no election was held and their preferred candidate was picked without any election.

Is this the new PDP Uche Secondus is preaching about? It's the same old cheating. Why call for election and make people invest money and emotions when you know no election will hold and you already have your candidate.

Omoku is in a volatile state now and we won't back down without a fight. Enough of election malpractice.

Same way they tried to impose women in ward 3 and 16 in ONELGA councillorship election. Yes we need more women in government but they should lead on their own merit. It's crazy enough that their form is cheaper.
