You've not seen anything. You just assumed. The poor person that got rich "overnight" do you know if the person had an investment?!

I know someone that last year was living in a two bedroom house with his family and earning 200k today he's living in a 5 bedroom duplex he built. Did he do money rituals?! NO! While others were depending on their salaries he was investing and eventually it paid off now they can afford what they couldn't afford last year.

I saw an argument on Nairaland last month about a similar topic and someone said the OP doesn't watch nollywood if he did he won't be asking such a question. So in his little mind nollywood is real and have the answer to all thing spiritual.

I just logged off Nairaland for that day because there's nothing you can say to convince such a person.

I completely concur with u,the nollywood industry plays a vital role in the way Nigerians perceive things including money rituals,the thing is this I understand how an average Nigerian thinks,while seeing nollywood films they tend to believe that most of what they see is real,now of course in some cases that is the case but then sometimes u begin to wonder a lot of people are so certain that juju,witches and wizards and the likes exist but the only evidence they have is that they have heard of them or seen films where they are portrayed

It is an expectation. Besides, I am sure the program isn't going to be for one day and isn't restricted to Nigerians alone. Perhaps others would be flying in from outside Nigeria plus they do not have to host all at once. They could have morning and afternoon/ evening sessions all to attend to different sets of youths. Also they might also have made provision for online connectivity/attendance. Online attendance is also same as physical attendance so one can hook up from anywhere in the world.

Once again, the OP says that is the number THEY EXPECT and not that is the number THAT ATTENDED.

He said he used his own part of the share to take care of his father's health which involves flying out of the country.. Which of course we all know will require a lot of money in this present day & time..(His wife didn't elaborate on this) Which portray a scenario in her write up that the husband only spent the money on his parent's out of freewill ..

Though I don't support outrightly changing the name to only the husband's name.. Cause once she does that, she is giving him 100% right to something he contributed less amount in actualizing..(Not with standing what I wrote in the first paragraph)

Again, the house can't not outrightly belong to the woman.. She only bought the land.. Both of them contributed the finances in building a structure(The woman wrote this in her post) Which means the man's sweat is also part of the whole house(that's where the anger came in).

You also knew the situation on ground that warranted your husband to use his own fund for something different to what you actually planned on doing.. You should have played your part & considered the happenings as at that particular time.. Buying the property only in your name will cause an uproar..

All in all.. Divorce is never an option if you guys truly loves yourselves like you claim.. Think about your children future. Do you as a woman want another woman treating your children's unjustly? And you as man knowing fully well if you marry another woman.. She can never treat your children the way their mother will treat them take it?

Your story is exactly what would've been this woman's fate. A lot of Nigerian women go through this. They build with a man sometimes with their own resources and put it in his name at the end of the day they get cheated out of it and the judgement will always favor the man.

Same thing happened to a friend of mine the money belonged to the both of them and she brought the idea of buying a land and the husband refused to buy in their names. He bought it in his name. Today she's in the village with two kids.
