I don't think it's right to limit Eze's whole performance on that wing to the goal momentum. I am not just looking at the few sparks here and there, but the overall play to determine if we were justified not getting another player for the LW to back up Tzolis... Just compare the L.wing with Tzolis to Eze.

Like I wrote earlier, Eze or Madueke might work, but more works need to be done to make Eze perfectly fit for that wing.

Oba it has been a minute, nice to read from you again.

I am disappointed they did not improve that LW, especially when you consider the competitions we are playing. However, that isn't exactly a strange wing for Eze. He can play LW/LM, however, he isn't going to stretch the width of the left side like typical winger would.

Another issue with Eze playing that wing is that Arteta's tactics has Calafiori inverting into the middle or around the edge of the box which means they will struggle for space because Eze is doing same. Except, Eze inverts into the middle and Calafiori stretches the width for crosses.

Arteta would have to change his tactics to accommodate Eze and Calafiori when they play together. It was successful against Villa and it wasn't just in the build up to the goal but the overall play. I thought they held possession well and kept us in attacking zones. Another thing to consider is that we will be vulnerable defensively on the left side if both play because that isn't exactly their strongest attributes.

Watching Madueke gives me headache, it is very stressful.
