Ministers are already partisan and the constitution allows it. Perm secs should not be partisan as so some other critical institutions like the military, police, EFCC, INEC, CBN, NRS etc.

Any of these supporting any party in private is a different matter. But appointing them in an official partisan role like being a member of a party's campaign team is a red line. An abuse of institutional credibility.

Amupitan may be a Tinubu supporter, but when he is now appointed to campaign for Tinubu despite being INEC chairman is a legitimasation of abuse of constitutional position.
