ArewaNorth: You have made no point here but what u already believed in! No bro. I actually stood on what you said you believe. You claim to believe that Jesus is of virgin birth and that He is sinless. The deduction is simple and clear. Those two attributes cannot be given to a man, or just a rabbi or a prophet. He can be a rabbi and a prophet but He is also more than that. He is a saviour. And it is only God who can save. The truth is, God became man in the person of Jesus with the intent of being a living example of what He wants for mankind, establishing a personal relationship and bringing salvation thereby fulfilling His requirements for justice. |

ArewaNorth: Average Muslim know Christianity more than some Christians. Muslims know a lot about Judaism and Christianity. May be you are very ignorant of Islam. Islam sees Judaism and Christianity as earlier versions of Islam, revelations given within the same tradition by Allah but misunderstood over time by their followers. Muslims see Islam as the final, complete, and correct revelation in the monotheistic tradition of the three faiths.
In the Qur'an, Jesus is referred to in ninety three verses in fifteen Chapters; and mentioned by name twenty-five times as “son of Mary” or “Messiah Jesus, son of Mary”.
Islam agrees with Christianity that Jesus was born to a virgin, was sinless, performed miracles, and was superior to other prophets. Both Islam and Judaism teach that Jesus was not in any way Divine. Jews think Jesus was no more than a Rabbi. Islam teaches Jesus was no more than a prophet and a word/sign of Allah. (Qur’an 43:61)
Islam, denies the central teaching and belief of Christianity by denying Jesus' divinity, crucifixion, and resurrection. Judaism denies the divinity of Jesus; but not his crucifixion. Both Islam and Judaism deny the Christian belief in original sin.
Jews and Muslims are both in fundamental agreement that neither Jesus, nor any other human, should be worshiped as a God, or as any part of the one and only God. If there is no original sin, then there is no sin at all in the world and religion or God is false and no need for Him. If there is original sin, then there's a need for a saviour, a Messiah - hence Jesus. If Jesus was just a rabbi or prophet, then virgin birth is false, and He was not sinless; He is an impostor. If He is a saviour (and not an impostor) - born of a virgin and sinless then He is God. For it is only God that can save, and it is only Him that is sinless , not a rabbi or prophet. If He is God, and saviour then he died and ressurected. If He did not die, He did not ressurect, if He did not ressurect, He is not God. If He is not God, then we are all damned, because there will be no good in the world. No hope, no justice, all is vanity. If there is hope in life, and justice in posterity then Jesus is God. |

Jodera: I agree, but it seems as if we always have problem selling out players we don't want. That's the biggest concern.
It's alarming every year or two we're always faced with bloated Squad These are results of errors of the past. We bought so many average players hoping they will pick up. Now that they still have contracts we have to find a way to count our loses. If we can't find buyers, we have to loan them off. We only need a maximum of 25 players to be honest. We can then add 5 youth players to give them experience or make them sellable. |

BlueRayDick: I just don't see sense in buying players that will not play. The only reason Gabriel Jesus and probably Zinchenko will be playing at arsenal next season is cos man city has enough quality players such that some do not get to play as often as they would.
Just last week people were complaining here about Arteta not integrating youngsters into the team since he resumed duty at Arsenal. If u don get 4 senior wingers e Don do no matter formation u wan play, u can always use youngsters in cup matches while resting those 4 u rotate during important matches. I have noticed that top coaches prefer to select their line ups from a small group of highly efficient and effective players. I expect Arteta to follow suit by selling off or loaning out most of these guys. |

BlueRayDick: It’s better we sell him for a fee at least ( even if it’s not his actual value) , instead of allowing him to stay another year paying him wages while he’s down the pecking order behind Tomiyasu and Cedric na. Not that he was playing badly for Betis, it's that they don't have money at all. Bellerin will be a quality backup for Tomi especially knowing his injury records last year and that we will play 4 major competitions. A fee less than 10m will be of little value for me. |

OurSeun: Dear Channels Television Yusuf K. Gazali has exposed a surreptitious practice of yours, deal with this.
He wrote: Since the inception of this television station I have not seen a single Muslim Anchoring any program or even casting any news. Does it mean there are no Muslim Journalists? Or Channels belongs to a particular sect of the society? I also noticed every morning the station airs a Bible study program called turning point(which I personally enjoy and learn a lot from ), It also has similar program at exactly 6to7pm before politics today. Not a single Muslim program has earned such favor from this TV station. One can argue and say they are all sponsored, but hey we all know there is more to it than just being Sponsored. At least AIT shows some compassion by airing the Adhan (call for prayer). My question is does this TV Chanel’s has any Moral right to question the Muslim-Muslim ticket by the APC? When most of its staff are Christian and programs skewed to favor one religion. With all this, Nobody called it a Christian Chanel, nor did anybody complain about the members of staff being predominantly Christians. What Nigerians see is a group of Brilliant news Anchors and reporters who are good at their Jobs, with no sentiments attached to it. If Tinibu and Kashim shetima can take Nigeria to the promise land so be it. But Channels has no moral obligation to question a Muslim-Muslim ticket or even a Christian-Christian ticket. It should first clean it’s own house first.

BlueRayDick: They shouldn’t waste money buying another RB when they sell Bellerin jare, we can promote any good academy product to understudy dem Tomiyasu and Cedric Abeg. Bellerin's loan deal with Real Betis was a failure to us because we thought they would keep him. He has a year left on his contract with us, Arteta may consider keeping him to run down his contract if a good fee is not offered for him. |

Roland17: I think you are going too far with the Saka competition. Nobody expects any of the young guns to become starters. Neither Omari nor his agent believes Omari will be a first team player for Chelsea but they seem assured that his immediate future with Chelsea (loan most likely) will be clarified and not muddled like it is at Arsenal, outside of the improved contract also.
For 2 straight seasons, we have failed to integrate any academy player and that is part of the problem. Also, we have been slow in making decisions about their future with the club, be a loan or permanent transfer and these guys see it. We are going to be involved in a lot of competition this coming season, I desperately hope to see some of these guys get minutes.
As we speak, Patino has made only 1 senior appearance for Arsenal and that was in the FA cup and now we know he did not even travel with the team to Germany. I mean that has to be disappointing for some of these young guys. No one is saying they will all become great but it would hurt if 1-2 become great elsewhere because we failed to even give them a chance or a pathway to the first team when we had the chance. Off course it will be disappointing. But it is because they know he won't be a starter in the near future, that's why they have to let him go instead of giving him an improved/big contract. As a matter of fact, I am opposed to selling any of these guys. I main wish, as I have stated on this forum already is for us to have a third level of first teamers culled from the academy who can be involved in some matches like a group stage of the EL after we have secured qualification, a 10nins cameo in some matches etc. Losing Omari will never be pleasant, but if it must be then we have to get the best out of it. I will pray for his success, but it must benefit us too. |

Roland17: Omari Hutchinson one of our bright academy players is joining Chelsea. Contract talks with Arsenal have collapsed and he is set Chelsea.
I am quite sad and disappointed but again, I am not sure what his demands were. Also, why Chelsea? I doubt he gets any playing time. He would just be sent on loans but I guess he knows better, it’s his career.
Remember, I keep harping on the fact that we have too many academy players who are ready. We have not integrated any of our academy players into the first team since Ebening. Instead we have gone out to buy Lokonga/ Marquinhos..
I would hate to see an exodus of this talented group, especially, if 1 or 2 go ahead to become world beaters. The bolded is the issue. They are ready but we have a young squad so their prospect of ever getting to play is a distant years away. When will Omari be able to bench Saka? The fact is the club cannot groom both and Saka is the better player so it's best to cash in rather than give out big contract to a youth player we won't use. We can add a buy back or sell on clause so that we can still benefit as he develops in his career elsewhere. As this will be setting a trend among the lads, we have to decide fast on the likes of Azeez, Patino, Salad, Flores etc |

soojar: According to the constitution of FRN, the President of Nigeria will be elected using a modified two round system, to be elected in the first round, a candidate must receive a majority of the vote and over 25% of the vote in at least 24 of the 36 states.
By simple analysis, which 24 states can Obi realistically score 25% from.
I am sure of the following SW- Lagos and Oyo - 2 SS- All SS states - 6 SE- All SE states - 5 NS- All NS except Kwara and Niger - 5 NW- Maybe only Kaduna - 1 NE- Maybe only Taraba -1
TOTAL -20
Based on my personal analysis as it stands, PO would still need 4 more states. Where do you think I made mistake and if this is correct, which 4 more states can he push to get at least the 25% required by law aside the simple majority of votes cast.
We learn everyday He will win all states in SS and SE and should get at least 25% in all Southern states and NC ie 24 already. |

mostob: Spy, They're playing these roles because of their skillset. Tierney was always bombing forward but gradually started playing as an inverted CB. That's to tell you that role and tactic may change but position doesn't. Partey is still a DM,not a CM. Yes. I agree with you. Roles and tactics change. Yes we know Partey as a DM. That's what he has been since Atletico Madrid. But, but , but, his role in Arteta's formation is not as a DM but a CM which he has performed extremely well against all odds. It's the same thing with Xhaka, he is a CM we all know, but Arteta uses him as an AM. The same thing with ESR. We all know he is an AM. But Arteta uses him as a winger. I believe you get the drift now. Partey is a DM no doubt, but Arteta uses him as a CM. Elneny is a CM and easily fitted in as backup to Partey. Lokonga is a CM but lost form when needed. Torriera is a DM and couldn't fit in (unless he improves which I believe he can). AMN is a CM but has been played more as a FB. Aubameyang is a striker but played on the wings for Arteta. I can go on and on, so the position may remain but the roles will change. That's what I was explaining to Jodera2 about total football where players are asked to take on roles that are different from their positions. At this point, if you accept I ask to call the discussion to a close. It's been a brilliant discuss with brilliant minds. |

Someone who started crying that he wants out right From his 2nd season here even before Arteta's arrival even till now.
Na wa oo This was actually his reaction. He was told he was not going to be part of the coach's plan, which led to his tantrums. Same thing Saliba did. mostob: because is limited at both the attacking and defensive department. Torreira is just like Kante. Sambi and Xhaka can't replace Partey perfectly even though they have a good range of passing. Why? Their defensive attribute is questionable. Arteta played Xhaka and Sambi together after Partey got injured and the team fell apart. Both can pass though but defensively, they're suspects. Doesn't this suggest that while Torriera is a DM, Elneny is a CM? |
