Then I speak against it as a Nigerian and Yoruba, stating the Nigerian Government ain’t doing anything about the killings of my tribe men working on their farms. Nigerian government will definitely come out to lighten my assertions and sugar coat it. Then Arsenal comes out to tell me I’m being political and distance themselves, that I should have kept quiet simply because NBC won’t let DSTV show Arsenal match. Honorable just off your mic. You have said it all.

BlueRayDick: https://www.vox.com/platform/amp/2018/8/15/17684226/uighur-china-camps-united-nations
Here is an article on the situation China.
If u read tru that article u will see that the Chinese Muslim minority issue is more of a political affair that has been on for a while. The Chinese call them separatist who are seeking independence ( just like you have IPOB here which Nigerian government has decided to proscribe because they feel they are violent separatists)
I'm not here to debate whether the Chinese government is right or wrong on this matter, I'm only telling u it is a political issue in China which ozil erroneously dabbled into because of his Turkish origin ( If u read the article u will see where they wrote about the Chinese minority Muslims sharing the same origin with turkey)
If u must know, the issue has long been at center stage of discussions at United Nations even before ozil spoke about it. What more do u need to confirm it is a political issue if it's something that is being discussed at United Nations.
If you still don't agree, I don't know what to say again No body is denying what you are saying. The point is as an individual, Ozil has the right to express his feelings whether political or not. US women team captains Alex Morgan and Raphinoe openly criticise President Trump during the last women world cup, they were not thrown out nor any sanction was made against them. What I am saying is that Ozil is within his rights as an individual, so if the club decided not to play him, no problem as long as they keep paying his full salary. Ozil knows this and decided to play the blame game with them. Ozil's case is even small compared to what's happening in F1 where Hamilton openly criticise F1 for not doing much against racism, still in F1 Kevin Magnussen refused to kneel for BLM yet no body is being sanctioned. These things are social and personal issues where everyone has his rights as long as they don't infridge on the rights of others. I have no issues with Ozil standing on his rights, my issue is as a fan, I want him to play or make room for another player. But then, it is his call and I wont condemn him for it. |

BlueRayDick: Most fans are just emotional and unwilling to call a spade a spade based on our current situation.
If Arsenal tomorrow gets an AM that that starts delivering like Bruno was doing for United towards the end of last season, trust me so many people will come out and call Ozil out for what he is. The only reason why most people are still stuck on Ozil is because we haven't gotten someone to take his place yet.
Ozil's diatribe concerning the muslim minority issue in China cost the club some good money. There's no way the management will be happy with him over that. for 4ck sake he is expected to be a professional and not a politician. His dabble into politics has been responsible for his current predicament. Bros haba! As a member of society, he is within his rights to protest over an issue that affects him as a person similar to the Black Lives Matter movement EPL are championing since covid19. My only problem with him is his refusal to compromise or look for job else where. but even at that he is well within his rights that is why the club can't touch him. |

Igboid: Sanchez left because he still wanted to play football ball. The compensation United gave him was no where near what he would have earned should he have decided to sit at United bench and be playing PR stunts.
Even before he left United permanently, he accepted to go in loan at Inter so that he can play. Arsenal would have easily accepted share Oezil salary with a loan club. But Oezil will not accept that. The lazy man is used to easy money.
Even now the club want to pay him off, the greedy lazy Turk is demanding full compensation of remaining contract, whereas Sanchez took only half of his remaining contract wages and left. Ozil's situation to my understanding is more than what we know or think outside London Colney. I think it has a political undertone. Something related to China. I only hope Arteta rational agreement is reached because it may turn sour. |

Digitman: I am going to make this simple for you. From a personal experience over the years. I have come to a resolve that buying a decoder that is embedded with premium =
African movie Foreign movie News Music And probably sports ( even if not live football)
That you pay little or nothing to watch, before you start thinking of adding other dishes or satellite position to watch other free to air station is the Way to go.
Because in do so.. You don't have to worry if the stations will someday go off or totally get bored of not actually getting anything premium or reasonable to watch, for yourself or family members. Whenever you turn your TV on.
As of today, only two decoders can actually give you that safety ( I stand to be corrected)
So which are they you may ask?
(1) Strong 497S
(price for decoder, around 20k or above) has a guaranteed embedded premium stations for African movie, foreign movie, news, news. That you pay not more than 2k5 to 3k yearly ( depending on where / platform you are using to subscribe from) . Which is achievable with just one dish. After that you can still decide if you wish to add an extra dish or 3 more dishes or LNB to get whatever free stations is out there. ( MEANING IT CAN STILL BE USED FOR FTA ) it's H.265 compatible and it multisteam.
(2) OURTV decoder ( company price 11900 naira but can not be more than 13k from outside source) It also has a guaranteed embedded premium channels for African movie, foreign movie, cartoon, news, music, sports ( though not live). All receivable with one dish. After that you can still add three more dishes or LNB ( MEANING IT CAN STILL BE USED FOR FTA) However there is no software for now to make it multi stream but it's H.265 compatible .
However, there are still many decoders out there in the market that can be used to hunt for FTA stations but don't come embedded with premium station from factory.
TSTV decoder has their own channels as well and can still serve for FTA purposes but I am not confident enough to add it to the list yet. Judging from history.
So meditate on where your priorities lies, for in doing so, you will make a better choice on which decoder in the market suits your real needs.
One love You are absolutely correct. Another area to consider is iptv enabled decoder just in case you want live sport but not based on paid subscription. if Tstv can show consistency, they have very good packages. I am enjoying their test transmission right now. I wish they can be consistent. |

Junior2412: Yeah, we see how it goes because Partey is too adventurous to play as our outright DM and rightly so, he can do amazing things on the ball.
Whilst Elneny will be contended with holding forth for Partey when he roams and can do the basics (tackling, passing to the nearest man and all of that) effortlessly. The question mark over him is that he is lacking in vision when compared to Xhaka.
Xhaka on the other hand could be rash with his tackles but reads the game well. He has an eye for long passes and can make play from his own half, which is what most modern day coaches look out for when picking who would play at the base of the midfield.
The choice of Partey’s partner will be a tough decision for Arteta.
Another option is to play 3 CMS (Xhaka- Ceballos - Partey) You are very correct in my opinion. Partey will play the box to box role, doing the pressing and tackling while Xhaka or Ceballos will play deeper orchestrating play from there and providing the incisive passes. Playing 3CMs is also possible but will overload the midfield, instead I believe Arteta will rather overload either of the flanks. I wish we have an specialist AM, our midfield will just be sweet. |

Jodera: Wait first.. Where is ceballos?
Well, my humble opinion is..
1... It's better Pepe is still coming from the bench. At least, let him gain his confidence and momentum coming from bench.
2... We all know ozil won't start, so putting him there,....
3... Xhaka can't be in this team when there's a ceballos.
4... Back 4 is spot on
So I guess the formation should be like this(against man city)
Leno Bellerin. Luiz. Gabriel Tierney
Partey. Elneny
Ceballos
Saka. Auba. Willian.
Tho the midfield personnel might change, but this is what I feel it'll be I think Arteta will still continue with his 5-2-3 formation. First he will want to ease Partey into the first team, second he still does not have an specialist AM, third it's Man City we are playing. |

BlueRayDick: Honestly I must say Arsenal has one of the most emotional fans in the EPL. I've been reading fans' comments on different social media handles since the time arsenal announced 55 staff will be laid off and I must say most of us have really put much emotions into some of our views.
While I understand the COVID-19 brought with it a lot of mental stress, but we should put some things into perspectives when passing a judgement on the club.
1. Arsenal like every other business venture has been hit negatively by the economic impact of the COVID-19 pandemic. We no longer earn revenue from match day ticket sales( At a time Arsenal's match day ticket was rumored to be the most expensive in the EPL). This among other lost revenue has hit the club so hard that we struggle to balance the books.
2. Arsenal being a football club knows players are the most essential assets they have and in order to continue to at least get the little revenue they can get, the players are definitely untouchable as regards pay cut, redundancy, sack, furlough etc. The only option they have is to encourage players to take paycut which they did ( We all know the player who earns the highest refused)
3. Having dealt with the most essential assets ( the players), it is only normal for for them to see how to cut cost expended on nonessential workers. This is where the issue of the 55 sacked staff came up.
4. Now this is where I say we are being emotional; we have staff whose jobs include steward and some other jobs that involves them working in a full stadium with the fans in the stands. The whole COVID-19 has made their job almost impossible to do. I actually don't see why they should be allowed to hold the job title when the job to be done is not available.
5. I understand they have a family to feed and all, but I want to believe the UK is a more advanced society where workers would've purchased "loss of job insurance" that compensates them for a certain period of time while they are out of job.
6. I know most fans would point at Keronke being rich and could have pumped his money into the club to help save the people's jobs, but unfortunately Arsenal and Keronke are two different entities. He's not under any obligation to pump his money into the club with reckless abandon. It's just like private school teachers grumbling and expecting a school owner to pump his money into paying their salary during the COVID-19 lockdown period. From the viewpoint of a businessman it won't make much sense to him.
7. Lastly I know people would wonder why will Arsenal despite having financial challenges still bring in New players and intend to pay them "high wages", I believe like I said earlier players are the major money making assets of the football club. It is only normal to try and improve the squad, try to finish in a decent position on the log, win one or two competitions so as to boost the dwindling revenue of the club.
This is just my opinion, I may be wrong tho I dont support all you said. But they are 100% valid. |

Digitman: Bro I understand where you're coming from.
However Isn't one of the essence of this thread, is to dish out location of FTA channels SO WE CAN ENJOY IT WHILE IT LAST? ( OGA GEORGE D, I LIE? ).
Besides, is not like I am collecting any money from anyone to release the info, or come to fix such channels in the person's house. ( that would've been the clause In my effort to help).
Furthermore, the road to receiving / watching premium/ quality channels on FTA comes with a cost or sacrifice at some point in time. Which leads to one having multiple dishes, several decoders and even devices to either enjoy or manipulate to enjoy premium channels while it lasted.
Just like many many Years back when mbc channels was only receivable with big dishes. I got that info here, spent around 60k or so to buy. As if that was not enough. I heard of OSN stations, which made me spend another 20k to buy microbox in order to view it.
But at the end of the day, did microbox not stop working? Azsky, Aplus, Gsky, Qsat and some others I cannot even remember followed. Still it all came to an end at some point. But some enjoyed it for years, some enjoyed it for months, some enjoyed it for weeks and some just for days or even a day. All in the spirit of enjoying premium channels as FTA while it lasted.
All the same thanks for Your advice. I will bear that in mind before attempting to answer questions here next time. ONE LOVE Please announce any free channels even the ones with $ on it, as long as it is showing. That's the essence just as you stated... enjoy while it lasts... One of the reasons Steven Gerrard was being hailed back then by Pele was his ability to play almost as deep as a defensive midfielder and up forward almost like a supporting striker. Sometimes he'd slide to the wings and deliver pull outs even David Beckham would marvel at. It's all about athleticism, skill, versatility etc. The modern day football demands you be more than a one trick pony and the philosophy of your coach matters too. Technically Ozil is one of the best midfielders in the world right now but let him make it into Arteta's midfield let's see now. Ask most modern coaches for their their list of top ten number 9s and Bobby Firminho will feature in virtually all. That one I'm still trying to understand though I get their point. Are you sure of what you put up there? There are players who were given free roles. That is not what we are talking about. FYI, Firminho is not my preferred no 9, when there are humans called Aubameyang, Kane, Aguero, etc. And this is just EPL selection. |

beauty7: Lightning and Thunder formation:
Lightning is a naturally occurring electrostatic discharge during which two electrically charged regions in the atmosphere or ground temporarily equalize themselves, causing the instantaneous release of as much as one gigajoule of energy.
Lightning causes thunder, a sound from the shock wave which develops as gases in the vicinity of the discharge experience a sudden increase in pressure. My own explanation:
Electric light is formed when positive and negative wires come in contact.
So is it with lightning.
When the positive part of the atmosphere and the negative part of the atmosphere come in contact and are equal to each other, then lightning will form.
Thunder is caused by the movement of lightning.
The sound of the movement of lightning through the atmosphere is called the thunder.
cc: Spy360 You tried to break it down to the most simplest of explanations. That's brilliant. |

At least you saw a picture I posted earlier when someone joking said Elneny should be told forward passes are not Haram. That is to tell you that fans at least expect him to at least make forward passes where there's need for it and not for him to pass to the back again.
If you watch Ceballos well u will see instances when even when he's pressed he wiggles out of it and make a meaningful pass forward to set up the attack. That's the kind of CM fans want to watch these days. That's what I'm saying Ok. But take it easy with our CMs. |

BlueRayDick: The way u dey talk this shout this simple logic ehn....make I no talk wetin dey my mind
My initial post to u was clear. I know the major role of CMs, i said the world has moved on to an Era where CMs must play forward passes to help their team when need be. Take a player like Guendouzi for example, he could go on and on and on and do sideways passes till eternity and we would have players upfront yawning for just one simple forward pass.
Nobody wants to watch that week-in week-out. Why do u think iamoyindamola and Kokaneprodigy keep calling for his head? Is Guendouzi Santi Cazorla or Thiago Alcantara? If you want magicians get one. If you can't afford them, manage the clone you have. Just as Arsenal cannot afford Aouar, so Ceballos will now kill himself? Why I don't fault Guen's side passes is because that is his primary job. Yes he can give a forward pass now and then but that is the job of the AM. As a CM, if he keeps playing only forward passes or more often, he will be losing possession very frequently and fans will call for his head. |

BlueRayDick: Alaye Fabregas is a CM any day, any time
De Bruyne on the other hand has played as a winger, CM and AM.
I knew u were going to say something like "That's the problem of arguing with you "
I'm in a good mood this night, I won't start a long argument over this anyways.
What I am saying is; football has moved beyond CM's just doing sideways passes upandan the field. Simple Players can be deployed any where. But they have their primary positions. Let's not argue this one. Fabregas is an AM. He even played as false nine for Barcelona. He plays just behind the lone striker. Same as KDB. Jorginho plays in deep midfield just in front of the defenders. It is even in these modern times that you will find CMs having major roles. Before, the goalkeeper will just punt the ball forward. But now they pass from the back, and when they do so they start with a side pass. If they use a forward pass it becomes more probable for the receiving player to lose the ball, but with a side pass it is easier to retain possession. Once again simple logic. |

Fabregas, DE Bruyne are modern CMs that play forward and defense splitting passes. Those are the kind of CMs every team desire nowadays not some Guendouzish or Jorginhoish kinda CM that will make eye pepper u when watching them play the kinda of CM role u narrated up there Fabregas and KDB are AMs. That's the problem of arguing with you. Jorginho and Guendouzi are CMs hence their frequent side passes. FYI, I am not saying forward passes are not done by CMs, I repeat they mostly do side passes due to the tightness of the position they find themselves similar to why defenders mostly do back passes. Luiz as a defender does many back passes but only occasionally will he do long forward passes because of his ability. It will take a rare skillful player like Cazorla (if he is positioned at CM) to transit forward to give those defense splitting passes. Like I said before, side passes are USED to retain possession. This is simple logic please. |

You know see Spy dey ask “what’s wrong with sideway passes?” You use side way passes to retain possession. That's the primary job of CMs. Forward passes occasionally yes, but mostly side way passes due to the tightness of the position of the field they find usually find themselves. Forward passes or defense splitting passes are mainly for AMs. If I am wrong prove me. |
