The fact that he won it at a time when governance was high, shows he is good.

I would say congrats to any other person that has won it too.

What you don't understand or like to ignore is that Arteta is not the only Manager playing possession based football which focuses on patient build up, others like Pep, Flick and even yesterday Kompany has found ways to successfully integrate their strikers ( Kane and EH) if MA is unable to; that will be on him undecided undecided undecided....
I am not arguing about this. So what is it here that I am ignoring?

It's simple, if Arteta fails he goes. I can say this objectively now because the board have done the right things unlike last season.

In fact, I am looking at Fabregas as an option if Arteta doesn't get it right this season.

However, I still trust him. That's because I reason of he can bring us this far with half cooked squad, what do you expect with a fully cooked one?

Amen!

Baba, I am worried that the sense of urgency for a trophy for us as fans may be at variance with what the board interpret at success for this club. Consequently, Arteta may continue to enjoy the backing of the owners, even when it has become apparent that we need we different voice in the locker room or he has reached his peak.

We need a tangible trophy now, like badly. Honestly, we are behind in terms of trophies under his tenure and shouldn't be even considering any type of stay if he fails to win a tangible trophy after this season, but that is a possibility with this board and it is scary. If he stays another 2 years without a trophy it would be catastrophic for the fanbase.

I know I want to win, like now. I support Arsenal, not Arteta and I want to see the team succeed even under a coach I don't believe in. I have always said, Arteta should embarrass and give me a big L by winning one or both the EPL/ UCL and see if I won't celebrate like a mad man.
Your big L is loading.

Can't you see the support from the board? This was what I clamoured for last season but was tagged an Arteta lover.

Give the workman his tools then we can hold him accountable.

Now that the board have used their senses properly, this is the season for Arteta. I believe in him.

That's because if he can get to second place with a dysfunctional, injury ladened squad, then imagine what he can do with this depth he has now.

Nwanne, expect a trophy.

No manager can remain forever, even the best ones leave after a while.

I am not so worried about those who want us to win trophies under Arteta while he remains our manager even when they ask for more time for Arteta, because I know the board will get rid of Arteta when they are ready, but I frown at those who do not want the club to win a trophy under Arteta, while Arteta remains our manager, just so they can boast that he is a confirmed failure.

For those fans, the urge to prove that they are right about Arteta being a bad manager outweighs their desire to see us lift trophies.

But God no go shame us.
God no go shame us. 🙏🏾

By November we should be 10 points clear. By April the league wrapped up.

I swear to God I envy your patience, the man made a post about how a Governor giving judges vehicles is rascality from the President and when he was counted by the Amala turner in Chief, his counter argument is that in Anambra's case, the judges begged for the vehicle before they were given meanwhile the one in Adamawa was the one chasing after the judges with car keys to handover to them, after seeing such a thing you should have known you're flogging a dead horse, yet you still continue to go back and forth, isn't it obvious that Spy has inherited the Omorogun amala from Raumdeuter so much so that even Raumdeuter sef shock grin
The judges requested for the vehicles and even asked for specific types as reported.

Airmark knows that if it's true, then Obi can be absolved. So he called it paid propaganda. A lame excuse.

If Airmark's excuse for debunking the news was that Obi paid the newspaper to spread propaganda (an allegation he certainly cannot prove) and I mentioned that the newspaper is The Nation's then he is left with two options because The Nation is owned by Tinubu.

It still doesn't make sense because Obi cannot pay a newspaper to report that judges asked for vehicles. A corrupt politician seeking validation would rather prefer it is reported that he bought the vehicles without the judges' request.

I expected him to bring evidence too that judges requested for the houses Tinubu is building for them in Abuja. Because if there is no such request, then it's an attempt by corrupt president to mishandle the Judiciary.

Obi was a horrible governor who didnt use Anambra resources to care for the people

But he is still the one who deported non Anambra people, appointed only his tribesmen even in far away Sokoto
You are chewing your tongue.

The way to recognise good governance is through HDI. Obi's success in improving the HDI of Anambra is everywhere. Look for it.

We are here discussing Obi's success when Tinubu is president. Does it mean that Tinubu is achieving nothing? So there's nothing to discuss on Tinubu?

Even in the yesterday game, it’s on your wingers haven’t adapted to playing with a natural 9upfront with their cut in and shoot

Na that kind player them wan crucify😂 jokes just Dey this thread

Harvertz will only be a makeshift and there’s nothing they can do about that
Nobody is crucifying Gyokeres. The sensible fans that have been supporting the manager and the players won't crucify anyone. We didn't crucify Havertz na Gyokeres we go come crucify?

In fact it's those who lost patience with the club that we are begging to please have patience with Gyokeres.

You that was very patient with Kai for 13games want me want me to admit. Simply squad depth? 🤦🏽‍♂️😹😹😹😹😹😹

We needed squad depth yeah. But that'll not simply what we needed. We need that squad depth to translate to approach change and reduce predictability cos every team now have video analyst, and more.
So we have moved on from but a striker and win the league?

Havertz looks more effective in this team than Gyokeres even if Gyokeres will score more goals. Because with Havertz the team scores more.
