I won't let you drag me into this yeye argument. You know better. If Giroud had been more clinical in front of goal you won't even attempt to spew that trash.
Ozil vs Mahrez, Ozil beats him in all stats used for mid-fielders from pass accuracy,to assists, to chances created, to shot accuracy, except goals, and you are telling me Mahrez is so better.
Mtchew, sh*t you just dragged me into this argument.

Per Mertesacker has the highest rating for successful tackles in the PL at 91%.

In 2013 Monaco spent more than most EPL clubs. Any club can spend huge money

Betis broke the world record for Denilson did they have more money than Barcelona when they did?,

Zenit have spent big recently same with

Newcastle spent more than Real madrid, Barcelona Bayern Man Utd in January means what exactly?
Real Betis' record deal for Denilson was a one off event. Ever since how many top players have they bought?

We are talking about clubs paying for big players consistently. They don't have to be record deals; clubs who shop in the best markets.

Monaco can't spend much anymore due to FFP. Even if they do, their money actually belong to Qatar.

Lets not deviate, my point is that there are more clubs in England who spend big than in other countries of Europe.

Swansea signed Ayew, West Ham signed Payet. They were the best players for Marseille.

Give Pocchentino kids and he will finish 5th, take them to Europa and sell them to United.

Give LvG kids and he will promise you the title and UCL but end up finishing 10th then blame it on Woodward.

Give Klopp kids and he will beat Man City 4-0, draw 3-3 with Arsenal, lose 0-3 to Watford and leave you with a letter of apology.

Give Mourinho kids and he will resign, then begs Abram for a job at Chelsea because he sees Terry is still there but Emenalo won't let him.

Give Guardiola kids and he will complain of brain fatigue, go on sabatical and return when the kids are grown.

Give Wenger kids and he will finish 4th, then sell the players to Barcelona for £25m each and ask for more kids.

Give Fergie kids and he will give you a title after 2 seasons.

What Poch is doing at Tottenham is what David Moyes was doing at Everton. Everything you said about him could be said about Moyes at Everton, except Moyes had a leaner budget.
You are right but Moyes made decision errors which cost him his job at United, LvG hasn't done better, despite havin the luxury of unlimited spending. United, I think was rash in sacking Moyes. But...

Poch isn't Moyes. He is even better. Really.

It is not for me to say, but I think Poch would be good at United. Better options lie outside EPL.

Do you know how much China's Jinseung paid for Alex Texeira? And that they were willing to sign Oscar from Chelsea?

We are not talking about a parody, we are talking about what happens on a consistent basis.

Newcastle spent more on transfers than the Bundesliga this January. Now that's spending power.

Ajax youth coach Ronald de Boer says Juan Mata isn't good enough for Manchester United.

He speaks to Van Gaal on a regular basis – but that has not stopped him casting a critical eye over United.

He said: “Louis has very few players who can make the difference at United. When I look at Bayern Munich, for example, they have a player in almost every position who really stands out.

"Juan Mata is just not good enough to carry the team when it comes to attacking. He is more the type who has to work for the real big players."

How is he better than Mourinho? We will be doing 'try your lucky with him' . Going round circles while someone who can guarantee success is waiting.
He is better because his teams play better football than Mou's teams.

Besides, Man United's squad need an overhaul, which LvG couldn't achieve after spending £300m. Mou would require a similar amount, Poch wouldn't need an overhaul.

Mourinho does not do kids, Poch knows how to develop kids which is an integral part of United's philosophy as a club.

Mourinho has won titles, he is still basking in the euphoria of past glory, Poch is young and hungry, he would die to win titles at United.

Finally, looking at what both have achieved recently, with Tottenham showing remarkable consistency despite having lesser quality compared to Mou's Chelsea, it can be argued that with better materials Poch will achieve more.

Thanks.

^^ They can afford it but their boards will most likely not agree to such moves. Looking at recent history in the EPL, only ManCity and maybe ManUtd boards can go that length.
Rather its based on more than one factor, the willingness of the player and the usefulness of the move; you don't want to sign a player for £80m just to make a Europa league place.

The main issue here is if they can afford it.

Which was why I used debruyne as an examples how many EPL teams can afford to buy Debruyne for 80M or diMaria for 80M

Do you think Arsenal can afford Debruyne for 80M

Going back to your example if Neymar is to go to EPL or say Lewandoski or Muller is to go to EPL they would cost at least 100M. How many clubs can afford them in EPL? Can Arsenal afford to pay 120M or Liverpool?

Players go to clubs that are succesful in recent times where they can win trophies or go to clubs that can pay them stupid money

Does Arsenal or Liverpool fit into this? Can any of them pay Neymar, Muller or Lewy 100M?

In Arsenal history they only have 2 players Sanchez and Ozil over 30M, Atletico Madrid Griezman, Jackson and Falcao all over 30M
So for all your knowledge of English football this is what you can come up with just to win an argument. #Smh

If this is how you think then its a pity, I will never accept any of your opinions even if they sound right.

You were just told that about 8 EPL clubs are in the top bracket of rich clubs and you talk of who can sign Neymar? So in your head among all clubs in England only Man City can sign Neymar?

Or are you hiding facts just to confuse the situation?

Arsenal, Chelsea, Man Utd, Tottenham, Liverpool, and Man City can all afford to sign players worth £100m if those players become available.

KdB only moved to Man City because they wanted him not because others couldn't afford him.

it won't even still guarantee them, one thing about Epl team is the fact majority of them clubs can compete in the transfer market.
So it ain't lopsided like la liga and Bundesliga and the French league.
I recently checked the top 20 richest clubs in Europe and found 8 epl teams there, leaving the remaining 12 spots for the other leagues in Europe to share.
It'll interest u that westham made the list and Tottenham the 7th epl team to make the list is richer than Athletico madrid the third riches in Spain.
Reason You'll always find one or two quality players in every team in Epl.
My point is, he won't be the only active manager in the transfer market in England unlike Spain and Bundesliga where Barca, Real Madrid and Bayern respectively take the best players the league gat to offer and leave the crumbs for others.
That's a point. Especially now that big money is coming next season, middle level clubs like Everton, Crystal Palace, Stoke, West Ham etc would have enough resources to attract top players.

It would be interesting.

A manager can only manage what's given 2 him, so its unfair using his bad experience @ roma 2 judge him, its like judging mourinho with dis season where he almost got relegated
Diego Simeone didn't need an MSN to win the league.

For me a good manager must not win a league, I am rather interested in how he is able to make something out of nothing.

If Enrique had led Roma or Celta to a top 4 position, he would have earned my respect.

Lets imagine that MSN is taken away from him, can he still win the league? I doubt, STRONGLY.

WHen you were telling us Wenger was better than Mourinho, did you take into consideration previous seasons that you are using to discredit Ranieiri?

Before this season How many times has Wenger ever done better than Mourinho. You used this season to say Wenger is better but now dancing azonto to use the same reasoning to boldly tell us Pocchetino and Ranieiri are better than wenger
I respect the following coaches...

Wenger, Pocchentino, Ranieri, Flores, Howe, Martinez, even Garde , others are Allegri, Conte, Tuchel, Simeone, Sarri etc

I do not respect Mourinho, Enrique, Mancini, Guardiola, etc. My lack of respect is because they are not judged on the same scale as others. They are hyped.

Take for example Mourinho, just one challenge he faced at Chelsea, the team comes crashing.

I think LvG is underated recently, mainly due to his pride. He comes accross as too arrogant. Besides which I respect him as a good manager.

My sentiment with Wenger apart, he is good because he plays good football and maintains his club at a top level position consistently even with average players. Give him kids, he will still give you good soccer and finish in the top 4. That is without doubt.

Pocchentino has consistently been remarkable bringing up young players. His work with Southampton and now with Tottenham earns him my respect.

Ranieri, may be he has stopped tinkering. He needs to show consistency too.

Guardiola they say is the best tactically but can he do it without breaking bank? I will respect him after I see him when he joins Man City next season. But he should manage what he has got, not that he will rush to sign Neymar and Pogba. If given the same squad Pelligrini has got, I doubt if he will do better. On that basis I think he may be overrated.

I get your angle though. Consistency.

But then, when you were arguing with me the other time, you didn't take into cognizance the fact that consistency is key. You were all about the present form and the position they are on the table!
My point is that those we call 'big coaches' because they win titles in most cases succeed because of the MATERIALS available to them.

Take for example Luis Enrique, he just won best manager after leading Barca to six titles or so last season. But many forget that his first coaching job was at Roma and he almost got them relegated before he was sacked. His second job was at Celta Vigo, the same thing happened. Suddenly he joins Barca and he has become best manager.

Where is Frank Rijkaard today?

If tomorrow Gary Neuville joins Madrid and wins Copa they tell us he is top manager.

For me a true test of a manager's acumen is how effective he manages within his limited resources. You use Messi, Neymar and Suarez to win a league and think you are a classical manager. Nonsense.

Give me Barca, all I need to do is give the boys ice cream, and they will win me six trophies.

As for the names you mentioned; Giroud will be taken care of by Pique. Ask around and you will be told hiw Pique defends arial balls with aplomb. Giroud too small for am to handle. As for Ozil, who doesn't know he hides in big games? Imagine whence the Don would be busy doing his magic, you wouldn't even have time to remember that Ozil was in the starting lineup. Sanchez? Well, his dribbling will be a cause for concern no doubt, but it doesn't get more than that. He ain't a goal threat to me. Walcott? The same pensioner Wallcott or is there any other one in your team apart from Theo?

If Barca beat Arsenal it would be no news because they have better players. But...

Every team, tactic, technique, method, game plan, etc has its own weaknesses and short falls; so that at the end it boils down to what one is able to do on the day.

Who would have imagined that a Leicester could trash Man City on their own ground on a title chase?

You have mentioned your best players, I have mine too. I advice you not to ejaculate prematurely, even the babes hate it.

The problem about your myopic post is that, you took cognizance of Barça's lapses, and never did with Arsenal. Or you wanna tell me you don't have weaknesses too? Defensive weakness?

Like you rightly said, we do have a high defensive line, and also play with our fullbacks in order to bring about width in attack. Playing with a defensive highline has its merits and demerits. Unfortunately for you, you pointed out just the demerit without taking into account its wonderful merits.

Have you ever wondered how easy it is for us to initiate attacks? Infact, we play with 11 outfield players (including the keeper).

Now let's get to the nitty-gritty. If what you posted above was that easy, how come teams like Madrid and Atletico don't take advantage of that? Or you wanna claim the accolade for the greatest tactician and console yourself with the fact that they don't have a knowledge about it? Of course they do! But why don't they bypass it easily as highlighted in your post? That's because some things are easier said than done.

It seems you need me to take you down memory lane, that's if you are suffering from amnesia. In last season's UCL alone, we defeated Man City, PSG, Bayern Munchen and Juventus en route to the trophy. You wanna tell me the aforementioned teams don't know about what you pointed out? Really?
You remember someone called Pep?

It seems you are also forgetting that your defense is no better than mine. Plus the fact that, you would be playing against the scariest attack/forward line the game has ever seen, and you don't think that should be your major concern?

Let me assure you of one thing; the best result you would get outta the Emirate is a draw, mark my word! We don't need to go over what the outcome would be like at the Camp Nuo.

I'm delighted with the fact that all your injured players are back. At least the major ones such as the likes of Coquelin, Sanchez et al. I know Sanchez will worry my men a lot, there is no denying that. But imagine what Messi would do to Monreal. Imagine what would become of Bellerin after Neymar must have sodomised him. And take into cognizance the frustrations Suarez would cause the likes of Kolscieny and Mertersaker.

Bruv, talk is cheap. Becareful of what you ask for.
You dey mart. Who you dey yan all hose trash for?

Or are you getting scared already? With our front four of Giroud (arial), Ozil (creativity), Sanchez (doggedness and stamina) and Walcott (speed), I doubt if your wishywashy defence can cope.

Forge it man, we go convert your MSN to yahoo messengers.

Don't be a suckass you scum wits.

It's easier for Arsenal to beat Barca than Stoke City.

Barcelona play free flowing attacking football with a very high defensive line. Usually they leave their two centre defenders isolated because they attack and defend from the front even with their full backs.

A typical Arsenal side can easily bypass the midfield with quick, sleek passing. With a big CF as Giroud we have a target man for long balls, Giroud's ability to hold up play will keep Barca's defenders busy, not just jittery.

Our quick flow of attack will easily leave us on several one on one situations.

Barca will score for sure BUT ARSENAL WILL SCORE TOO.

It will eventually boil down to whose defence is better. And I think Arsenal's is- we've go Cech too you dumb heads. COYG.
