That said, the squad was very lean as Wenger had to start the same eleven for 4-5 matches now. Gross. You can't think of being champions when your subs are Chambers and Iwobi. There are no excuses anyway, at least a draw would have sufficed. Mr 'stubborn' needs to sign. |

dopeJemi: The reason he flopped at chelsea was because of his players
He will buy his own players and keep the ones he likes, not many of them should be wearing the united jersey anyways
We've brought in two clueless managers whose philosophies were and are different from united's
Whine all day I don't care, trophies? I do care
His attitude also played a big role, and besides madrid and chelsea are clubs notorious for sacking managers like there's no 2mao
I believe he has learned his lessons and would be very cautious this time around, and also be very mindful of the things he says
Who is long term?
I don't care, ferguson did same most times
Right now, that is the last place on his mind, he'll take every chance he gets to get back at chelsea, believe me
Who need youths when we have players who will deliver, the next manager can work with youths since jose is short term Searching for love? I do hook ups. |

Spy360: I don't see Man Utd beating Stoke unless LvG changes his playing pattern.
Stoke guys can be very physical, they press hard and break fast with Bojan, Shakiri, Diouff and Arnautovic at the peak of things.
A direct attacking approach may be a better option. You don't play tiki taka with an Iroko man like Fellaini in the middle and a one legged Valencia by his side. Christmas Special! Abeg na wine we go drink for this party. |

We really need further backup for that defense. Seems like we are only riding our luck for now.
We have the best defence in the PL for now at least. Its surprising given that there were no additions except for the goalie. So the question is why. |

SIRcumalot: How is he not interested in scoring he won, a UCL final by 3 goals to nothing, I think you've to come to the recent UCL game to see that much goal difference between winners and losers. We saw how well is chelsea played in the first half of their title challenge,we watched his R.Madrid team P.S (he is still the only to have done it for madrid) through this Barca domination. What about our last season as league winners when our best player was RVP or that Year Rooney went HAM ? Or when Ronaldo and beckham left and giggs lost his pace moved to the midfield. Am not saying we don't use wing we do(most times) but when that options is not available to us we find a way which was what really Made us special. Don't get me wrong. Chelsea on the first stanza of last season were more attacking, Fabregas getting the assists and Costa the goals, but we saw also that they conceded a lot of goals too. But Mou didn't like it and changed pattern during the second stanza; he asked Hazard and Fabregas to defend more. It worked. Though they scored less goals - Fab and Cos phased out, but conceded fewer and won the league. That's typical Jose. Again that a team plays on counter attack doesn't mean they can't score plenty goals as Leicester has shown us this season. Leicester has scored more goals than any other PL team. Mou's Porto was totally built as a counter attacking side as well with Deco, Maniche and Mendes running things. Their UCL final win over Monaco is a typical example where they scored all 3 from counter attacks. I totally agree with your view on SAF. |

adeyemi2015: I don't have the confidence to say boldly that we will defeat Stoke City! This is a big test for LVG at this critical time - he should show the Management and the Fans what he's actually capable of because a defeat wouldn't be good for him. My only advice for LVG is to honorably walk away if he loses to the Stoke City. I don't see Man Utd beating Stoke unless LvG changes his playing pattern. Stoke guys can be very physical, they press hard and break fast with Bojan, Shakiri, Diouff and Arnautovic at the peak of things. A direct attacking approach may be a better option.
