Before the match, I compared Arsenal's midfield with Bayern's, and came to the conclusion that we had better midfielders than them.

Once we handled their two main threats Lewandowski and Muller, I knew we would come on top.

I was surprised that Mertesacker was able to handle the threat of Muller, I wasn't surprised that Bosscielny pocketed Lewandowski and Bellerin was able to handle the pace and
trickery of Douglas Costa.

In Cech we had an equal match to Neuer who made superb saves to keep his team in the game.

Those were the key battles that decided the match. With Lewandowski emasculated, Bayern was too pedestrian.

Every player has his own style, the good ones learn to master theirs.

Per may be a slow dullard, but he has good match reading skills and a certain calmness most defenders lack. Being able to master those and use them effectively to his advantage makes him ever relevant.

His yellow card versus Watford is a simple typical example- he missed his man, saw that the guy was about to sprint away, gently fouls him, pick his card, gives Coquelin a high five, and all is well.

From Mytv position, input 11008v5000 then raise the dish up a little and a little to your right (from behind the dish). 60cm is good.

Two spirits are battling in my mind...

One in my head says it is better for us to go out of the UCL and focus on EPL. If we do that it will give us a huge chance to win it.

The one in my heart says, why lose to Bayern?

I really dont know the problem with dis lnb, i've been using it b4, i just remove the dish last week and i try to hang it back today to track another sattelite, but to my supprise, the quality is 96% but it dosnt flash any green, just to test the lnb, i tried to track dstv,joy tv and amos.... The green dont pop up.... Am talking about ku lnb with 60cm dish. 96% quality but no green.

Try to track when there is nepa (abi na EEDC now).

There is no confusion, those of us who still believe in Giroud are few that's the point.

That doesn't mean he should not be benched when he loses form or when a different approach is required.

But despite that he tops Walcott on goals scored. That in itself is a huge statement. Don't be supprised if he starts against Bayern.

I still don't like Ramsey on the right. IMO it weakens the right side. If not for Bellerin quality that wing will be totally lost. I prefer a fast winger like OX. Ramsey is much more effective in the centre

If you noticed, Ramsey's inclusion is a tactical one. He actually is not a winger but something like a false RW. His job is to make slippery diagonal runs to open up defenses and add pressure to attack while the same time joining the centre midfielders when we are defending.

The key really to this pattern as someone rightly pointed out is Bellerin. The guy is both the RB and the RW, so as Ramsey does his runs on and off the right wing, Bellerin runs down the entire flank.

The summary is that it gives your opponent the feeling that you have more than 11 men on the pitch.

That's not even his game.

While Walcott prefers to run into spaces, Giroud would rather create pockets by holding up the ball and allowing others into positions.

Both patterns are ok depending on the situations. If the opponents are defensive then Giroud is preferred; but if they are offensive as against Man Utd, then Walcott is preferred.

He also has a better positional awareness and gives us presence.

Did you notice how his movement off the ball created the space and chance for Ramsey's goal? That's to me more important than all those thoughtless speedometers.

Watford have shown that they are very good when it comes to defending. I hope we practised our set pieces these past few days as that may be one way of getting goals a tight defence when other things fail.
Also did Alexis return in time for this game? I remember a time when playing in South America during the week automatically ruled you out from a game on Saturday.

First tiers for consideration includes beast Matuidi, Schneiderlin, Pogba ( can play multiple positions), Kondogbia, Gonalons

Joshua Guigaloivi, Imbula, Rabiot, Steven Nzonzi are fast rising and Coq belongs to this group in my books.

Don't construe me, it's not impossible but Coq has to absolutely beast games and hope some of these guys don't and don't forget most of them are also young.

The coach is only sticking with his usual players knowing that he has players of Coq's similitude in Matuidi and Kondogbia. Those were established long before Coq is, but performance wise, they aren't really better.
