proudlysports: @bold True its a massive responsibility. I'm just not sure how serious both managers will take this game. I know AW started Sanogo in the same game against City last year so who knows? I would like to see us play with width i.e. Chamberlain and Walcott left and right but I agree with you, it will most likely be Chamberlain and Ramsey on the 'wings' Yeah. Again, rumours of Wenger's pursuit of Benzema and Busquets; mehn if he can pull those through, it's going to be a coup de tat! I can't shout. |

proudlysports: My 'prediction' for tomorrow's game. I believe Arsene will start with a team very close to what would be our regular first 11 for the rest of the season. I have a feeling he may not want to start Cech though but with Ospina just returning to training and Martinez not (IMO) ready for such a big game, he may just be forced to. I am not sure who will play ahead of Alexis but perhaps we will see one of Jeff or Iwobi again or Arsene may just stick his old reliables.
Cech
Bellerin Per Kos Monreal
Coq Santi
Theo Ozil Ramsey/Chamberlain/Jeff
Giroud Good line up. Though I don't see Theo starting ahead of Chamberlain, I feel he will be the sub striker, so that either Ramsey or Wilshere will play from the left. But giving Jeff a starting berth would be a massive responsibility, don't see it happening. My thoughts. |

bigkesh: what nonsense.... cech has been your only signing..... we played twice last season and you had only one shot on target in 180mins....WTF?? Cech wouldn't save hazards pk and surely not Costa's goal....... If the two teams are balanced now, then they were balanced last season...... give us another excuse..... Arsenal should beat Chelsea, no more excuses bro. The last game they had ended 0-0, Arsenal was the better team because Chelsea chose the option of defending may be to secure their top spot. But Sunday's game is a winner takes all, Chelsea wouldn't just defend and Arsenal wouldn't just throw men forward. It's gonna be tight, it is 50-50. |

sinizia: I don't even believe a Man Utd fan can talk about us managing.. A club like Man Utd manage what we have? Without buying more players we wouldn't have secured the 4th spot.
Barca had Messi and Neymar, two stars that can get them goals, they still added Suarez.
Chelshit has a world class defensive set-up, yet they want to buy Stones.
At a time Shitty had Balotelli, Dzeko, Aguero, Tevez in their ranks, and they won the league.
Clubs buy every season to improve their teams. How on earth are we going to be playing Jones and Blind as our CB and then using Rooney as our best CF? Even Mata on the wings is a disaster!! hqhqhqhqhqqqqq! Chai! This one na book of Lamentations chapter M vs U. Hehehe una go hear am this season. Manure. For all Chelsea fans hoping that there would be P-S on Sunday you are adviced not to watch the community shield. Reasons are: 1 Arsenal's defence is impregnable 2 They now have Cech offcourse 3 Their attack comes with so much speed Terry's waist would break trying to catch up 4 Finally, it's a winner takes all so no 'parking bus' :p |

proudlysports: I like this 'new' Arsene Wenger
A few years ago, he would have refused to bring buy a new midfielder so as not to stunt Jack Wilshere's development but this new one brought in not one but two midfielders (Ozil and Santi). He also would have refused to buy a new right back so that Jenkinson and Bellerin can develop but look at us, he brought in Debuchy and Chambers.
A few years ago, he would have totally refused to buy a new forward because we already have Theo, Giroud and players like Akpom in the U21 team but he went on to bring in Alexis, Welbeck and ........... BENZEMA... Hahahaha latest news is that Benz has left RM preseason for an unknown destination. Guess... |

Leyqute: "They are buying the title". Mourinho already has an excuse for not winning the EPL next season.
As if the majority of the titles he's won wasn't achieved with the use of expensive players. Hypocrite.
One thing I like about him though, he doesn't wait to be sacked. He quits. Sarcastic. Hehehe |

Nihilist: Just as long as you agree that Arsenal are now trying to buy the title, the rest of the rubbish you typed up there is of no relevance to me. Fact is when Arsenal with Arsene and Man Utd with Fergie were winning titles in the '90s they weren't buying they were grooming; Chelsea and Mou spoilt the broth Man City followed suit and now Man Utd with LvG have joined the queue. Funny enough LvG has always been an advocate of home grooming. Even Rodgers is buying in his own mumu way too. #Pressure |

proudlysports: Another good game. First half was a bit slow but things picked up in the second half.
1. I'm even more convinced Rene isn't too far from the first team. He may even get a loan move this season. His level at 17 is higher than that of our current youth academy.
2. I think Theo should just be content with playing from the right. He is a great finisher IMO but playing from the center is too much pressure. Good CBs will easily mark him out. He needs to think quick
3. I still maintain Akpom isn't ready for first team and keeping him in the first team (most likely on the bench or out of the team) won't help his career. I expect him to go on loan before November.
4. Giroud on his own won't be enough for the whole season.
5. IF we don't win the league this season, we'll be very close Brilliant thoughts. |
