We scored 2 goals less than Chelsea last season, we also had more scorers with double figures than any other team. Can you please explain that?

I was really impressed with Lacazette's 27goals for Lyon and thought he could be better than Giroud. That's until I and some friends did an analysis of him.

Out of the 27, 9 were penalties, that leaves 18 from open play in 38games. Giroud scored 14goals in 25games for Arsenal, no penalties. Now when you compare the Ligue 1 with Premier league, you can't but give it to Giroud.

Giroud is highly under-rated, mostly due to his lack of consistency in scoring but then he has got team play which for Wenger is more important since anybody can score. That also was Wenger's problem with Podolski, who though has a better strike rate but very poor in team play.

Unless Wenger is bringing one of Ronaldo, Messi or Aguero; any other signing may find it difficult to put Giroud on the bench because of what he brings to the team. When he tried it with Sanchez against Everton,... Lol!

My man was just burning fuel everywhere on the pitch without touching the ball. So Wenger pitied the guy and pulled him out at half time - remember Wenger does not sub until about 70mins. Giroud came in and turned the game around, since then Sanchez has been confined to the wings.

A Benzema or Higuain can only bring competition for Giroud, which also will make him better. But they can't condemn him to the bench. That competition can also come from Walcott and Akpom and Welbeck if they up their games. Time will tell.

LvG is a ruthless coach. RVP barely had 10 goals last season, so it can be understandable why he chose to let him go. RVP is also on a decline. Even in the Dutch National Team, it is clear that RVP is no longer the same RVP of three seasons again. Not that I can be bothered about Robin van Turkey now. Wenger has more pertinent issues to face than discussing about a player who thought he was bigger than the club.

As regards to Giroud, I really do think he needs someone that will jolt him back to working harder. Benzema seems to be our best option for buying at the moment.

I doubt strongly about his availability, I doubt if Benitez would let Benzema leave on his first season as manager. But if we can get him...

Man Utd that is under reconstruction, buying and selling like a dog in heat; are they the ones that will now win the league? As at now both Chelsea and Arsenal still have a better squad than them, and besides, this new set up by LvG will require at least 6months to mix properly.

Last season that they bought Di Maria, Falcao, Herrera, Shaw, Rojo, Blind, gbogbo tin gbo, what did they win? Ok what have they bought now? Schneiderlin from Sotton, Darmian from Atalanta, Schweini-rejected at Bayern, or Depay from PSV. They can only talk of winning the league by next year, and that is if they build well.

Listen. There is time for everything...

During the financial stress years AW and Arsenal just couldn't compete with Man Utd, Chelsea, and Man City flexing their financial muscles. We were losing our best players to them. Then it was unrealistic to demand for titles when it was obviously not possible (like asking Everton to win EPL).

Foolish fans and WOBs who never saw but read of our glory days started crying like spoilt babies, but the board knew AW was being a magician for keeping the club consistently in the UCL.

Now that the clout is off, and a team is built- we have stopped selling, started buying big (who be us to buy Ozil before?), and even buying from our direct rivals, common sense should tell you that we are ready to make a challenge. AND WE WILL.

With all the money and talents available, Arsene can not give us any reason not to better anyone else, or at least give it a genuine challenge.
