Guys let's look beyond the letters...
Footballers and coaches move around; travelling for them is no big deal, it's part of their job family or not.
Cech's move to Arsenal was to spite Mourinho who disdained him by dumping him on the bench for a small boy with total disregard. Why else was 'Jose' missing in his thank you letter? Lol. |

AirborneLacer: Boss did you really sip an alcohol as adviced?
Looking at it from many angles:
- Even if Falcao earn £180k a week with us, that amount to around £7m for the year all costs inclusive. If you consider the going rate for a Charlie Austin is £16m and Benteke £32m, without including salaries, it's a fairly inexpensive deal. We also no longer have the £80k a week Drogba was costing on our books, so it's more than manageable.
- The report I heard has it that instead of paying the substantial sum of £7m, we only gave Monaco Mario Pasalic on loan. In essence, we get Falcao for free and get to develop one of our most promising prospects in the process.
- With Falcao, Remy and Costa, we are well covered in the striking department. Drogba whom Falcao is replacing, only needed to make minimal contributions last term.
- If Falcao Performs well and Pasalic develops well, it's a big win. If Falcao doesn't perform well but Pasalic develops well, it's still a big win. If both players fail to perform well, then it's a disappointment but more so b'cos of Pasalic than Falcao.
We don't need to wait on Falcao to bang in the goals before this deal get to be considered a success. Looking at it from other angles, we practically nailed a no-risk signing. With due respect, your thoughts and judgements are beclouded with sentiments. Even common sense will tell you that you can't exchange Falcao with Pasalic just like that- I mean Man Utd paid £34m for one season. Pasalic was only to cushion that bill and give Monaco something to cheer them up. How can Monaco be coughing out Falcao's salary for you to enjoy? Again you get Benteke for £32m for 5years, that's about a llittle above £6m per year, which you can still trade for at least half the purchase price after sapping every juice in him. So from a neutral stand, Falcao can only be a good deal if he scores goals that help Chelsea retain the league or win the UCL. If not bad deal, too risky. That guy may just be milking Premier league and funding Monaco. |

sod09: Porto or Lisbon Aw do u rate players experience Any international caps Aw many clubs as he featured for Aw competitive is d league Aw progressing is d club Sorry please he did it for Sporting. How else do you rate a player? One that sits 100 matches on the bench? The more playing time you get the more experienced you become. For anyone to be consistent for 2 years that person has gained a level of experience no matter the age. |

sod09: cavalho is too young nd not experience... We can't afford to av two inexperienced DM U can't tell me le coq is really experience BTW l.bedner is a leader as u said , very strong nd mobile den less expensive compare to d rest....even he's bro is highly rated Dan him You are right AND Coquelin is statiscally the best DM in Europe since this year and you don't want to hamper his progress. So whoever is coming should only compliment him. I think Bender will be perfect. BTW Carvalho though 22 cannot be called inexperienced, he has played over 50 games for Porto including UCL and he is an international. |

Spy360: Kondogbia to Inter?
I am beginning to have that old feeling that AW is not willing to sign a proven DM and would prefer Coquelin as first choice with any of Arteta, Wilshere, Ramsey, Flamini or even untested Bielik and biscuit bone Diaby as cover.
The Arsene I know will not pay £15mil for a back up when we have those aforementioned seeking for playing time. Someone said '' Wilshere should be cover for Coquelin, if not how will he get into the team when either 'Santi' or 'Cazorla' is playing.''
So fans, rule off any idea of £25mil Schneiderlin not to talk of £35mil Calvalho coming this summer. Those gimmicks only remind him of what Le Coq is worth. Spy360: Vidal is similar to Ramsey and Wilshere, I do not know if he will have the discipline to sit in front of the back four as Coq does when situation demands. Great signing though- that's if oga Wenger confirms. Vidal deal off, Wenger thinks not to. |
