I still would have preferred Tomi over Zinny. Our problem isn't keeping possession, our problem as evidenced by both goals is getting caught from pressing way too high. Zinny isn't better than Kiwior defensively. He may give us more with possession but defensively, Bayern will continue to target that side of our defense.

My choice of Zinny was not to defend but to control the midfield which he did excellently allow Rice to press higher

This season, Zinny was injured and throughout preseason, Timber played Lb even when Tierney was fit. In the community shield he played as a Lb again, beginning of season he still played as a Lb(while we loaned Tierney).

But you still believe he'll play Rb after all these hints? Na wa to you ooo

And you're right, Spurs game is a big decider especially as they would be playing City and Liverpool back to back.

As for transfers, I didn't specifically states that both Zinny and Jesus will leave in the summer. I said 'coming windows'. With Timber as the first choice LB next season, Zinny's game time will be greatly reduced. Although Arteta might decide to move him to midfield. Jesus'injury issues is also part of why I think he might not stay long at Arsenal.

Why does everyone think Timber is a left back? He can equally be a right back. In fact he is more right back than left back.

based on the training that i saw Kiwior going through, he might have had some little issue but is very okay now. I've been saying since 3 weeks that he'll start the Bayern game. He was fit to start Brighton game but Arteta must have really calculated his gameplan with Kiwior in it. LB get too much options. I want that for Saka next season. It will shock all of us how a well rested Saka can start giving GA above what we're currently used to. Guy is too tired mehn.
