Jodera: White inverting really helped Saka cos it isolated him well. Zinny inverting helps the right.
We were defensively solid and attackingly good with that back four. Zinny shouldn't be starting.
Anyways I still expect a win but it's annoying seeing that we've a weaklink opposition coach is always targeting. Imagine RdZ switching Adingra because of Zinny White inverting didn't really help Saka because it put much load on him facing defenders as White couldn't overlap to assist. I agree totally, our defense was much better with Kiwior than with Zinny. I can't say why, except that the stats prove so. Otherwise on paper, Zinny gives our midfield more control when he is inverting than when White is inverting. Yes with Kiwior it's a back four but not really so with Zinny. |

Jodera: Kiwior didn't play on Wednesday, yet his other back 3 teammates played. He didn't even come as a sub. I took it as Arteta giving him a rest.
Against Brighton, he didn't start again, neither did he come on as a sub.
One thing I know is that Arteta takes match fitness seriously so it's surprising to see Kiwior not Play any of these two games when Fit.
So, I'm thinking, Are you sure Arteta won't start Zinny against Bayern? Or am I overthinking it?? Arteta likes to over load the midfield with square shape and having Zinny inverting makes it easier. The other option playing Kiwior is that White would be inverting and that's not really desirable because of how he helps Saka in creating width on the right wing. That said, I expect that we will attack Bayern at home and not defend. |

Lush100: .
Don't mind jare.
I remember when Liverpool were playing AC Milan..champions league. AC Milan had scored 3 goals. After Liverpool pulled on....they brought in Brazilian left back Sergio to provide attacking width. Steve Gerrad left his midfield position to play right back. Liverpool won that game.
We set tell u say Arteta read game....he wanted to strike in the last 15 mins of the game. The question is between Pep,s team.and Arteta team....who could control possession more..... Even the quality of personal they are slightly better especially when you consider their bench. Even first leg...they had more possession but Rodri and KDB were absent giving us a better chance to control game.
Keeping all our top players fit is key.
If Rodri absence and KDB injury did not occur this season....who knows...they might have won more matches.
Look at the whole picture.
Our winning first leg gave us believe we can win them. The bolded is true. That's when he realised he had a chance to win. |

Let's focus on Brighton then after Bayern. I just hope Saka Is fit again Saka travelled with the team so I guess he is fit. He has to be because Nelson was rubbish as a winger or whatever he played because he couldn't even take a man on and his movement was poor. No width. All he was looking for was an opportunity to tap in. |

mostob: Show me where exactly Dec/Antonio said Arteta planned to play for a draw. You this guy would sometimes make one doubt if one truly went to school or not.
Anyway, show us how exactly the screenshot showed we played for draw. Uncle I go school Arsenal usually plays for a winning using a high press. Without the ball you usually see Odegaard, Rice and Havertz attacking the opposition centre backs. With the ball you will one of our fullbacks inverted and the centre backs positioned near the centre line and our team laying siege on the opponents low/mid block. Against Man City it was totally different. I saw a more structured defensive tactics with no inverting, no high press, and even when we have the ball we want to go long. No passing from the back, in fact we didn't try it once. We only had two players upfront and one is Havertz. Both wingers were second fullbacks to the point that Gvardiol dribbled Saka three times wiping his ass on the floor and Saka couldn't even attack him once. We came we defended and that's why the game ended goaless. I tell you if Man City had scored, our approach would have changed completely. You would see the real Arsenal like we saw in the community shield. We aimed for a draw. |

Keep on turning like barber chair sir Even the non elite coaches want to win. If you ask Crystal Palace manager is they want to win Man City, he will say yes please. Every coach would want to win. But if Crystal Palace play Man City like they want to win, they will get Bazookaed. Their approach to the game will be to defend all through the 90. When a team focuses all their game on defending it is obvious they are seeking a draw. I am repeating myself. The issue we have here is that your statement of planning not to lose. A001: Where did I tell you that chi is god? Is everything okay with you?
And which silly assignment? Ignorance is your problem. Deep ignorance.
You don't know the origin of those Igbo words and you don't know you don't know. I'm not here to engage in silly arguments.
As I said before, whether it's Chukwu, Olorun, or any other gods of any culture/religion, they were all past humans (the first beings that claimed the title of Supreme God in the Old Worlds in their respective cultures).
When you've enough intelligence to differentiate between Olorun, Chukwu/Chineke, Yahweh, and Allah, you'd understand this simple fact.
For now, you can keep regarding all of them as the same. This is simply due to low IQ. I am sure you have a problem with madness. The bolded is the stupidity I am talking about. Remove Chukwu from that nonsense. |
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) › Re: EPL Chatroom - All Discussions by Spy360(m): 5:21am On Apr 05, 2024 |
A001: Interesting. As humans, our physical reality is influenced greatly by happenings and events in the dream world (our inner world).
You'll find it easier to engage in lucid dreaming if your symmetrical partner at the other side (the non-physical realm, also called the spiritual realm in the cultural/religious context) wants you to have such a gift.
All the gifts we, humans, have and everything we do here are determined by that partner, which the Yoruba people call "ori" (inner head) in Ifa spirituality or "chi" in the Igbo culture.
It actually exists, and there are specific mathematical formulations underlying it in Consciousness Science based on Abstract Algebra and related areas.
So, it's always advisable for one to know oneself deeply (i.e., know your symmetrical partner, "ori" or "chi" ) via regular meditations so as to discover your gifts and how to make the best use of them to achieve greatness in the physical realm.
Also, it's good to find the most suitable way to meditate and connect with the inner self (the symmetrical partner) yourself, instead of adhering to a specific method discovered by others dogmatically in any religion or group. So you finally realised that chi is not god in Igbo? Your next assignment is to find out who Chukwu is. Let me give expo. Chukwu is actually misspelt. The correct spelling is Chi-Ukwu. Ukwu means to be big, mighty, universal, general, major etc |

Lewis is a fullback not a midfielder.
Your argument is leaky bro especially that last paragraph. Are Liverpool and City the same team? Do they play the same way? Have you forgot how we sometimes labour hard to defend against an inferior team?
Fact is you overrated Arsenal's chance against City, you got disappointed and came here to start the 'We planned to defend' argument. I don't think I overrated Arsenal against City. mostob: Teams defend for a lot of reasons and I'm sure you're not aware. 1. If you meat a superior team with a superior tactic, you can defend. 2. If your opponent surprises you with a tactic you're not aware of, you might have to defend. 3. When your opponent is piling pressure on you and you're leading with a lone goal with about 10 minutes to go, you defend.
Now tell me which is applicable to that City vs Arsenal game. This post show you have no idea of what I am saying. Every team should defend. But when defending becomes your only tactical approach then you have no plan to win the game. How easier can this be sensible That is why irrespective of what, the moment a team conceded even if they are playing against a bigger team they have to change tactics to attack. I believe you don't know this. |

BlueRayDick: U need to first go and see the set-up/line-up of Man city Vs Loserpool and then check the set-up/Lineups of Man city Vs Arsenal. U will see the set-up's were different.
Arteta is not a foool to be hoping city will play like Luton and allow themselves to be played out of the match. It's funny to see u assume Arteta didn't know he can win city until towards the end of the match
Who told u that was not his plan form the onset? His plan from the onset was to defend. It is clear. Defending means he would be satisfied with a draw. A barren draw is possible and he got it. Usually Arteta presses high using Odegaard and Kai against the opponents CBs. Against Man City their CBs were on holiday and we only pressed their midfielders ie Rodri and Kovacic. That was why their fullbacks Akanji and Gvardiol pushed higher to take up winger positions and their wingers Foden and Silva moved into midfield to overload the centre. When Ake got injured, he replaced him with a midfielder and not a defender. That's because he saw no need. No one was pressing the defenders. In the second half he changed to wider faster wingers to penetrate and what did Arteta do? Changed Kiwior to Tomiyasu. I was actually expecting him to bring in Zinchenko. Arteta was just nullifying Pep's attack without initiating any for himself. Now please note, I appreciate what he did as a point at the Etihad is not bad at all. But I also feel a bit disappointed knowing that we could have possibly won if we played our usual game like we did against Liverpool. |

Trade-offs are a common consequence of any economic action/cost. Naira strengthening is a consequence, not the reason. Monetary economics says inflation is more likely a reason for this.
The only argument here is the alternative use of this money. Maybe an injection to the real sector but who knows? and it also comes at a price. BlueRayDick:

Unfortunately, football is not boxing.
As for ur Last paragraph, that is what is expected. Nobody expected Arsenal to play high line, press high and pass from the back against city. Maybe u did sha Yes. And I believe that if we had taken the game to them we would have beaten them because on that day we were better physically and tactically. Arteta realised it later on when we started pressing high but there wasn't enough time and the boys already had a defensive mindset and that was why passes in the final third wasn't very smooth especially with the chance Trossard missed. Liverpool Vs Man City was more open and Liverpool could have won but for bad luck. I felt we missed a golden opportunity. That's why I said that the way Arteta was happy after the game showed that he was satisfied with the point. |

I clearly put that effective attack knowing u will want to dwell on that . The good thing is Arsenal's attack is over effective cos we have scored gge most goals in the league this season till date .
That makes my point for me that Arteta actually didn't play to draw . He studied his opponent and neutralized them in every possible way in the books . He relied on his effective attack that managed 2 shot on target to city's 1 shot on target ; but were unfortunate not to have converted it.
Kapish ! If it was a boxing match, City would have won on unanimous points decision. That's because Arsenal would just be blocking punches and City throwing punches until the bell goes. You will see today against Luton how we would play a high line and press high and pass from the back and score 5goals. |
