Net spend in finance is better metric used to evaluate the total health and investment of the owners. It is a more accurate metric. You want us to just review spending without outgoing. We may as well have kept Auba and Ozil for keeping sakes.

Bringing him on for 15 minutes in an FA Cup fixture helps his confidence and you have something tangible you can work with. He came on and made runs that starters never attempted. His hold up play was better than the starter. Amorim goes into training and knows what to work on.

So taking time to prepare a player is an excuse that defies logic?
