This is a clear case of when your village people have switched from 2G to 4G on your case .Flogging people anyhow in Edo State of all places small time now this mumu's hand will start to rot they will start suspecting his innocent neighbors or his colleagues at work mugu

Kudos to you officers.

Give them sense.
#kickagainstindicipline!
This is wrong in all ramifications .What happened to bringing out a phone to record them (as evidence cause Nigerians are good at denying ) then arrest them and hand them over to the necessary authority so they can be fined heavily or their cars impounded (make more revenue for the government ).What if in the process of flogging it damages someones eyes or he flogs his superior no need in engaging in an act that can lead to disturbance of public peace and violence (as an officer he should know that) What if he flogs a police man another riot will start police and soldiers so it is totally uncalled for .

Very true
yup bro we joke with security in this country .Most people employ aboki they know nothing about cause of cheap labour .How can you employ a thief or murderer to come be your night watch ,mosto f these guys that come from the north to do menial jobs here are ex convicts in the north

Good move, any hotel that doesn't have a functioning CCTV should be shut down, though this can lead the serial killer to changing his modus operandi, and location
i think the government should enforce the installation of cctv in many business premises hotels, bars, hospitals, eateries if they do it will help fight against crime in a positive manner sometimes it can be use to corroborate suspects stories and something to follow up on

Well, If 9ja no work for you, travel out! Everything that you have ever wanted is on the other side of fear. There is no reason to justify what south Africa did to us. Anybody can travel anywhere, we are only looking for means of survival.
nobody is justifying what south africa did to us yes we are all looking for means to survive but that does not mean you should jeopardize your security no be who dey alive dey enjoy money . you have no idea how many nigerians are languishing in foreign jails or the manner of oppression they are going through all in the name of “I MUST GO ABROAD” go to the middle east and know howfar ,we need to enlighten ourselves it is not funny out there

. Hahaha....most importantly, when you rid the street of yahoo boys without creating options for them such as jobs, I pity the rate at which they take to robbery. House to house robbery reduced drastically when yahoo became an option...those that lived in any of the Niger delta states can testify to this
Lately i must commend the efforts of the efcc and other authorities fighting corruption if this is the measure they have to take to stop this madness in our society but on the other hand it is like you are struggling to put out fire and at the other end your sibling is pouring more fuel into the same fire. These economic policies our government are applying arent helping i will use the issue of border closure as a point of call .If you have stayed in the seme-badagry axis to idiroko too deep into neigbouring cities and states as far as delta, portharcourt you will know the effects of this singular policy .Alot of people derive their daily bread from menial hussles that originates from these borders now what do you expect such people to turn too .From Drivers, market women, agents, car dealers and many more

Are you minding the stupid woman .From her accent to the way she is talking you will know she is looking for every reason to remain where she is .These is another problem a lot of Nigerians abroad have ,we know things back home are not going too well but you dont have to write it on your foreheads and rule out going back home these is what makes these useless people maltreat Nigerians before you know it ,it gradually develops into xenophobic attack .And i am also using this opportunity to enlighten those of our brothers and sisters that think going abroad is a do or die matter.Life over there is not as easy as you think it is most over there will eventually return with nothing if you have no proper arrangements or job kindly stay back in Naija .It is so bad you even see some on flights they don't even have where they will live once they land

BiafranBushBoy:
There is no justification to wearing a suit on a hot sunny day to sell Bottle water.

If he did it for the Camera, no problems.

If he did it as a business strategy, it is a whack one!

As simple as ABC.
his packaging is for people that have foresight and also for people ready to give others a ladder to climb irrespective of whatever they do .Dont just sit over there and be a critic .I know a particular man in Benin that sells fruit in a cart and he dresses corporate he has been doing this for over 10 years or more now and he sells like wow what his selling point it’s the dressing so mr know it all stop saying what you don’t know I am attaching a picture for you to see this is the one I could get sometimes he goes on 3 piece suit.what he his selling is also a commodity abi this one is also doing it for the camera cause this man has been doing this thing for more than 10 years you will see him inside GRA Benin you will see him there

CareerRe: Meet Michael Chukwuebuka Who Sells Bottled, Pure Water In Suit In Lagos (Photos) by srclark: 10:45pm On Sep 07, 2019
BiafranBushBoy:
There is no good reason to wear a suit. He isn't the manufacturer of the pure water

So no need to package himself. Pure water is a Commodity, so it doesn't need extra packaging.

Garri is a Conmodity. So whether you wear suit or rag. People will still buy your Garri

Simple!!!
for you it is all about the commodity he his selling have you considered the service part of it ? Some people need customized bottle water and all that some need that extra touch to their event at a very minimal cost people like this can do that for you .When you employ services of guys like this for drinks for an occasion trust me this guys know the books and cronies of the market and will get you the best prices ever and original products as long as you are ready to give them that commission they need from you .You won’t know the worth of people like this guy until they come to your rescue I know what am saying cause I have experienced where they saved my big day for me although it was nothing to do with water or drinks

Listen to yourself again. This time slowly.

I was a marketer for 3yrs, and suit didn't give me a single client. Once I leave the office, I removed it. They are forced to wear the suit, that is why marketers wear it.

Why should you wear a suit under hot sun hawking pure water?

I am a media person. While shooting outside, I use a singlet and a hat. Why is because of environment.
you are a media person so you should know better ,the young man is only trying to market himself and his services .Let me do a simple break down for you he sells at cms / Balogun market most people that visit this market daily are people that have occasions (weddings ,burials, birthdays) they come to buy their attires ,aso ebi so when you see such a person selling bottle water and neatly dressed like this cause at some point you might need water out of thirst the hussling and bustling of the market calls for that .If you come across this guy and you maybe buy from him you might be forced to start a conversation with him then he goes into details of how he can arrange your water and drinks as well as the service boys that will serve the guests at your party (all dressed neatly like him) you might be tempted to patronize him so no biggie in what he his doing it is just a better and smart approach to attract the niche of people that needs his services

Not good and it is bullshit, I will explain.

Have you see a factory worker putting on a suit?

Or a footballer wearing an helmet and safety boot?

Every work sector have a dress code that allows for seamless workflow.

If he is doing this for the camera, no biggie then.

If this is real, then he needs some reorientation.
and how is he different from the bank marketers that wear the same suit all day long looking for customers that are not there strolling all over the city under hot sun and don’t even be surprised he earns more than most bank marketers .why take Panadol for another mans headache ?naija and hypocrisy na 5 and 6. If that is what rocks his boat so be it free the dude abeg

Selling pure water is a personal runs... no one designed dress codes for the job like bankers or lawyers... u are the one assuming water sellers should look like crap cos many of them dress like crap..:. Years ago pastors were not known to wear suits... all of a sudden now their thing...
Wateva makes him comfortable in this Nigerian weather to do his hustle is left to him... he doesn’t have to confirm to any norm....
are you minding him the suit is the guys selling point you will be surprised how many packets of bottle water he sells per day also might get patronage from people that wont patronise a dirty random water seller

TravelRe: Plan To Evacuate Nigerians From South Africa Suffers Setback Due To Expired Pass by srclark: 6:42am On Sep 07, 2019
Cmanforall:
Try renewal of passport abroad. You will see big men begging those embassy staff, answering them madams and ogas, all to get their passports renewed. Even at that, they delay and drag it for weeks to months. Nothing frustrates like that, especially when one has a set out plan/need for the passport.
The question is why does it take months to produce a passport?
not in all countries I got mine within 3 days the problem is we don’t like going through due process there was a time I wanted to travel to naija and I wanted to regularise my documents the stupid proxy told me it would cost close to $500 I summoned courage and went myself and I spent less than $100 for the same process he said would $500 my advice is stop using proxies go yourself in this case they can issue this set of people without passport emergency travel document just a note identifying them as Nigerians and off they go as long as they have their expired passport and the passport numbers

am not saying we are the most corrupt people in the world .Everywhere is not Nigeria these people have their way own way of life so as a foreigner there kindly study and adapt to their way of life "if you are in rome behave like a roman" how can you be selling drugs and defrauding your host community and expect not to have problems in the nearest future .Or have you seen a chinese man or indian selling igbo in nigeria even if you will see the settings will be posh you wont see them selling in places like ajegunle, oshodi .

yes we need to work on ourselves, but saying it justifies south African savages killing foreigners for years is an act of childishness the reason i asked for your age cos it seem you have no idea how long these killings have been going on ,they even killied Lucky dube because they thought he was a Nigerian ,go and think on that .
i am not making my comments on recent attack in south africa i am making my comments based on the general attack on nigerians lately in different countries personally i think it has to do with the way we portray ourselves to these people .When you go to some suburbs where you dont even expect to see a foreigner you see nigerians there and when you find out they have been there for years .Not like they are there quietly they are always too loud and go as far drug dealing ,defrauding the host community that is how this stereotyping starts then it gradually build up into xenophobia.Let me share an experience with you back in 2017 i was in nairboi ,i was dating a lady suddenly the lady called me that she wanted to see me ,she came over to my place brought out a piece of paper said a Nigerian gave it to her inlaw (sister's husband) when you reflect it under light looks like a covered dollar bill ,instantly i knew her inlaw had fallen for the classic wash-wash scam and the poor man lost a lot of man .How do you expect such man to look at nigerians how do you expect his family and friends to look at nigerians .We really need to stop all this our sharp practices

can you pass your point without insults. The fact remains the fact many Nigerians dont behave themselves abroad and this bad behavior has a rippling effect .Do you know how many times i have denied being a nigerian so i am not stereotyped ,you enter a shop the owner goes like are you a nigerian i reply no i am from Botswana .On some few occasions i have admitted to being Nigerian you need to see the countenance of this people it is either they become more vigilant and observe every move you make .And Mr man dont bring age into these age does not prove your point typical nigerian .We really need work on ourselves just imagine common Ghana,Cameroon deporting nigerians

that's a lie, a big lie, the south African savages are attacking all black foreigners not just Nigerians because they said they want their lands back as if black foreigners are the white men that stole their lands so think of something else to say, cos all this long rubbish you said does not justify zonophobia

Also about MTN, go and ask dealers ,MTN has the most expensive wholesale recharge card, while other networks can be selling for 60 MTN will be selling for 90 there was a time it was 97 ,so dont come here and say what you dont know ,you should have asked yourself why it is only MTN recharge card that is always affected with price hike.
first it was Nigerians living in Kenya then Nigerians living in Ghana, now Nigerians in south africa do you need a juju priest or scientist to tell you we Nigerians are the problem .Nobody is supporting killing or maiming but alot of Nigerians are not good ambassadors of Nigeria outside the shores of Nigeria .We need reorientation of the people in Nigeria and tell them to shun this sharp practices and unruly attitude of trying to play a fast one on each other .

Honestly, i think the Nigerian govt is to be blamed, they allowed these attacks by south africans to linger on for years without making decisive decisions .

But i want to ask a serious question, is it a law or rule that the Nigerian president must only address the country on certain days like independence day, democracy day etc?
you have a point but lets call a spade a spade we nigerians are the problem ,this our mentality of being sharp (outsmarting one another) this attitude has eaten so deep in many of us we cant do anything the right way again .Now we have exported these attitude to other countries these is the end result maiming and killing our people. You cant deal with any handy man in nigeria without having issues from mechanics to electricians to plumbers they all want to outsmart you .THe other day i wanted to buy mtn recharge card for 500 the woman said it was 530 i was so pissed. We need to start frowning at these behaviour of outsmarting one another i think that is where the problem lies

It may be funny but sometimes it's brave to die fighting than die cheaply.

The xenophobic attacks in SA are not all caused by crimes committed by Nigerians. Those southy are just lazy idiots who want free money. That they can't even migrate for better living is not a sign of strength but weakness.
the bitter truth is a large majority of Nigerians Abroad have no business being there look at this video this guys can not even speak proper English to express themselves .Now when a local asks them what brought you to my country they can’t explain or they tell a well known lie their country men use which these locals know too well ,yet you are living large ,buying cars and partying .Another thing is the issue of women naija guys will never keep off women this is the main reason we have problems all over the place .you hardly find a Chinese man or Indian frolicking with the local girls just a few of them do that but naija people must frolick Impregnant ,deceive all the local girls wherever they go this is always the root of our problems
