Chei.... The fear of my maths teacher a brother to my school principal is the beginning of wisdom. I wrote a love letter to his niece ( the principal daughter) when I was in s.s.s 1 and she in J.s.s 3 and he saw it and gave it to my dad unknown to me. My dad then was even tougher than my maths teacher. On a good evening like this my dad came from work and told me to read something for him. I gladly pick the paper to prove to him I have improve in school. When I opened the letter.... Oh jeezzz ..... I became stammering, the rest of the story is the beating I still feel today when I remember.
As if that wasn't enough, getting to school on Monday with the pain from the weekend flogging by my dad, they brought me out in the morning assembly and o boy..... The math teacher after telling the assembly what I did told the students to all say shame on you and compose a song all the students were singing. I was so pained that I became scare of women untill my University years.

But guess what? We met in Abuja after so many years and concluded the unfinished business.

My favourite teacher is late now. She was our computer teacher. Back then they will draw computer on the board and teach everything there with no physical computer to practice. She saw how I love computer despite never seeing one and she encourage me that in future I should focus more on it that she sees me doing well in the I.T field. Years later, my life has been all in the I.T sector. Am even doing my PHD now in information technology.
Kudos to all the teachers..... My Mom is actually an headmistress.

I have been to republic of Niger what I see there is suffering. I have been To Algiers, Constantine and Oran all in Algeria. They should be best address as europeans cos the place is well planned and neat. I have been to Ghana, Benin republic, Togo and Ivory coast.

Europe.
I have been to Paris France and Monaco, I have been to Milano, Rome and Torino all in Italy, I live in Geneva and Zurich in Switzerland as well as Warsaw in Poland. In addition I visited Frankfurt and Munich in Germany and spend couple of days in Norway.

America
I did my Master in California U.S.A, and visited other couple if cities in U.Sa. I have also been to Cacun In Mexico.

Asia.
Spend my 2010 holiday in Kualar Lumpur in Malaysia.

Middle East.

Qatar.

Life in U.S.A is ok but you are mostly on your own as every body is always busy. Man gat to pay bills you know.
Swiss life is very cool but expensive . You better avoid anything that will land you into police trouble.

Polish life is cheap but no much work but their girls are very pretty

All these countries except Niger republic, Benin and Togo are all better than Nigeria 1000percent.

My friend don't look back just carry your load and run to London.
I have been to some of the best countries in Europe UK, Germany, Swiss, Denmark Sweden France etc and even the worst like Bulgaria and Albania. The poorest country in Europe Albania minimum wage is almost more than times 10 compare to Nigeria. My friend even if you are washing plate in London is 1000percent better than this country called Nigeria. What is 80k?? Less than 250 dollar..... Hissss....

Good suggestion. But my friend pain now is that, the capacity is no longer there even if she is forced to do something but though she is still doing sit at home.

Sorry to ask but it's where my heart it directed. What sort of business was he into? How was he making the money?
I ask because if it was not genuine, it can only go as it came. Why did your friend not also have business ideas when he had money. It's God that gives ideas to make wealth so I will suggest Ur friend to look inwards.
Even if the wife is lazy, that shouldn't be the reason for his situation. He should look inwards, when a man seeks God, he finds him.

This is someone I know for more than 20 years. His business is 100percent genuine. Even if it's other way round, that should not stop his wife from doing something for her self and family.

A friend of mine got married 4 years ago to his wife, before the marriage, the wife was looking for job while my friend was already established always traveling overseas for business trips. At first my friend told his then girlfriend that she need to secure a job before the marriage cos he don't want her to be liability neither will he want to be liability to her .He make her understand the need for her to be doing something in case of any eventuality so that she can support the home. Along the line as the job wasn't forthcoming, she told my friend she will go into good business and that she has plans which my friend told her he will finance what ever business she want to do.
They got married, my friend was expecting his wife to come up with something but she didn't. One year passed nothing, then the second year, she said she want to learn fashion which my friend supported paid for her and after she finished but her necessary equipment even told the wife to get a place he will finance everything, but his wife did nothing even after learning the fashion.
To cut the story short. Right now my friend is financially down and after 4 years of married his wife still don't do anything. All my friends effort to make his wife to be financially independent failed. Even at a point my friend put his wife on allowance , he was just doing everything alone. Even when he wanted to invest millions on his wife but the wife refuse to do anything.
Lastly, my friend also noticed one thing, he said anytime he is progressing on something once the wife get notice of it the things will end abruptly. My friend got his wife first car and before she could the used it it knock engine, second and third car same. At a point he even went into depression and seek spiritual help from different pastors and everything was pointed to his wife direction, he said he discussed it with the wife on what to do but she just laugh over it. Now no finance at home, all his business down, kids can't be taken care of and the wife still jobless and still do nothing. My friend totally fed up, at a point he contemplated suicide.
What advice do you have for him?

Anybody who hasn't been depressed should thank his or her God. I went through it and not pleasant experience.

Marriage is not for the faint hearted, if you want to enjoy your marriage please always try to perform your duty as a man. The moment you stop doing your duty as a man, that will be the beginning of the end of marriage. Even if you have the best wife, there will be tension if you at man don't play your role.
