The real loss is recorded through altcoin too. Let's be guided.

You said it's information they needed but information in crypto changes like an ashawo.

The so called information would keep them jumping from one alt to another and lossing good money along the way till they are broke and kicked out of the space.

Those kicked out of the space would tell u they are no longer in crypto till further notice. Na because, altcoins don show them shege.

Today you mentioned Ai coin & Co. I remember before when people said it was metaverse, web3 and Co. Wonder how long the current one would reign b4 people move on to a new trend. Just dey play. grin
Crypto is scam if you care to listen.. it generates no cash flow. Everything about it is just speculations. That is why no price is too high or too low for it. Even with current btc price, you can't tell if it is too low or too high

Thank you sir

Stocks can yield good returns if proper research is done.

For example, I bought GTCO shares last October at 17 naira per share, and currently, the share has gained 41% since then. I am due for a dividend on Thursday, which amounts to 14.8% of my investment, resulting in a total ROI of 56.8%.

I am not saying that investing in stocks is easy or without risks, but with diligent research (here and beyond) and some luck, a regular 26% return is achievable.

By the way, I am planning to sell my GTCO shares tomorrow since it no longer holds a priority on my stock screener.

He go well.

There is a valuation method I read about " fair price to book value" determined by return of equity. It says that the premium placed on book value is determine by return of equity. if the return of equity = cost of equity, the fair price to book value is 1 and if the return of equity is twice the cost of equity the fair price to book value is 2.
How reasonable is this?

For Dangote cement with a return on equity of 35%, from my chart the price book value should 4 and Price earning ratio should be 11.4.

At a book value of N64, it should sell at N256 at an EPS 22.3 it should sell at N254..

If you give provision of 10% for margin of safety, it will be okay at N230
Please how can I learn from you

I also do a 5 yr earning CAGR, 3 yr earning CAGR and Year on Year growth.

The essence is to see if the earning CAGR will reduce or increase going forward.

Look at NASCON the 5 yr CAGR is 6%, 3 yr CAGR is 42% and Year on Year earning growth is 89%. With this it is safe to say next year 5 yr CAGR will increase to 20% or thereabout

Where Dangote cement 5yr CAGR is 11.5%, 3 yr CAGR is 7.4%, year on Year earning growth is 6.5%. it is safe to say future CAGR of Dangote cement might slow down
My criticism is Earnings per share can be influenced by share outstanding. A company without income might use debt to buy back share thereby giving us a false increase in earning per share.. or a company with good income might increase share outstanding give a false decrease in earning per share

Earning Growth analysis of some of the businesses that recently released their 2022 results.

One of the way to grow wealth through the stock market is to invest in businesses that are consistently growing their earnings and the return on invested capital is higher than their Weighed Average Cost of Capital.

I drew an intriguing comparison between the 5 year earning growth and the stock growth expressed in the form of price appreciation. It was interesting to note that some stocks demonstrated similar growth rates in both areas.

However, if earning growth impacts investors' perception of a stock's attractiveness, why do some stocks perform differently? For example, consider the case of Wapco, which has seen a negative growth rate of -7 in contrast to a positive growth rate of 30 in earning growth.

One possible explanation could be that the market had overvalued it in the past and has now corrected its price accordingly. Alternatively, there may be untapped value in the company that has yet to be fully realized.

Note that SCAGR refers to the price growth rate over five years, while ECAGR represents the earning growth rate over the same period.
Pls did u take into account changes in shares outstanding to estimate EPS growth rate? Or is there no need for that?
