Won't say most people are being dishonest but everyone here seems to be very brilliant much like our parents who always took first.....Eng222 and Mr abi is he a prof now Chidi Onuigbo said we would have to go get a tape recorder(this was tail end of 2nd semester owu period) look for where we will watch BBC news, record about 30 mins of the news to a tape and then record our own rendition of the same news in and i quote "queens English" and then transcribe and submit(30 marks)....see where people that have not seen AIT to watch now looking for DSTV to watch BBC news...had to go all the way down to Onitsha to even get an empty tape to use for the recording and ended up in a hospital reception begging to watch "TV".... after all said and done after his exam i accompanied my course rep to his office to submit the tapes only for this man to reply " who gave you people that assignment" and before we could say sir he screamed and abused us out of his office.....the type of swear he received that day I'm sure would still be following him till now |
The unnecessary smiling thingy though honestly i feel so so uncomfortable when a lady just starts smiling towards where i am...I'm a bad reader of this signs though like the girl who came to the house and kept reminding me every 3mins she would soon leave |
Well sadly the only "love" young folks know these days is "sex love" you know that one you prophesy when you want to get in a young lady's pants....nice write up |
@tosyne its been a while seems the ministry is really moving forward keep up the good work my brother....@topic there was a course we did back in year one titled "Basic English Comprehension" and i think some of this courses should be made compulsory....the op has only stated and i believe is his opinion cum personal beliefs or experiences...the one thing you notice here is that people are very emotional and tend to give knee jerk reactions without properly understanding what they have read...Its good being a virgin as a matter of fact its a thing of pride and something one should keep and i quote keep to oneself cus that the non virgins are screaming about their excapades doesn't mean you as a virgin should go about screaming about your purity...I believe only your husband or wife should be the one to go broadcasting about how he met you a virgin cus to him its a thing of absolute pride not you doing the broadcast yourself and in a society like ours where people women especially lie without guage concerning this particular issue one would be forgiven for not believing a lady when she says she's a virgin so keep it to urself pride yourself with it let it give you inner joy cus in the end why else are you keeping it? |
That's why you wonder when someone comes to preach to you in your home and says as a guy he hasn't had sexual intercourse in years and you are like wow....not saying pre marital sex is good but there has to be some way to release all that fluid burning up between your thighs.....the man has probably watched a lot of porn to ease off the tension and now feels cus he's married he gets to go all Rambo on his wife |
texybaby:Honestly think its what's best for us though ending it and yea I'm preety sure that's what i want |
passiechu:exactly nwanne m...does anyone think the likes of emeka offor or peter obi or orji uzor kalu will leave a Nigeria where they are making millions to follow you to one hinterland to begin to drag food?..like the popular saying goes "igbo e nweghi eze" every igbo man cus of how hardworking and resourceful he is automatically is a king of his own...people shouting yes biafra ask your father who has finally after yrs of hardwork built a house of his own somewhere in the west or north whether he will follow you to biafra whether you won't get a hot slap...a lot of the biafra chanting peeps it seems live abroad cus the reality on ground now is even if in a peaceful manner biafra is granted independence, how many igbo people will be willing to move and start the hustle all over again |
Which biafra biko?...the one where Anambra and Imo people will start their useless comparisons on who better or the one where abia/anambra people will claim for 80 percent allocation cus they are the commercial nerve center of the east?..the biafra where an igbo man would rather vote an ijaw man all because his brother belongs to a "muslim" party..they should go and sit down pls...Igbos are not one and it will take a long long time before we truly in the real sense of it see each other as brothers and sisters |
texybaby:I've tried on numerous occassions..its been 3yrs now and it feels like ages cus we always end up back where we were before the pregnancy...me being the only one emotionally available |
Blackett:yea i plan to do that if she let's me that is..be dere for her as much as i can in a less emotional capacity that is |
Hi friends so this is my first topic here ever and i really do need some sane advise so thanks in advance. I was in my final year and she was a diploma student in her 1st year..we started dating and to cut the long story short she got pregnant Lord knows i was scared out of my mind(she was my first ever gf) she took postinor which a friend recomended back then and it seemed to work until she got home after she left my place and called saying she was in the hospital with her parents(seems the drug didn't work afterall) her dad had found her bleeding in her room..anyways it was confirmed she was still pregnant and she had to tell her parents who was responsible you can imagine how i was feeling at this point but she refused to give me up despite the fact they threatened to disown her she never disclosed my identity..I went on to finish school and she was withdrawn to carry her child in the house..I visited PH regularly to see her although it had to be done in secret and her sisters were really helpful then..I ended up emptying my savings cus her parents well you could imagine how they treated her calling her a slut who didn't even know who got her pregnant..I would send money down almost every 3weeks for her to get her soap and toiletries..at some point we both accepted it and even talked about baby names..I took up a teaching job after writing my project to be able to have something to send to her regularly..six months in she had a miscarriage and she shut me out blaming me saying i had ruined her life and now the one thing(the baby)that kept her going was gone..she didn't talk to me for abt 2months and her sisters said to just give her time...anyways we picked up where we left off after she got herself and I tried as much as possible to be there and call always and provide the little I had for her and promised to help her re-gain admission and after paying for 2 jamb forms and a pre-science form she just got admitted and I'm glad...the thing though is we don't work well as a couple we fight more than we love and for abt a year I've stuck to the relationship cus i still feel guilty(I'm soft like that)we hardly see each other at all cus we quite far at the moment and she's in school but even at that she hardly calls and when i don't call for a a day or two she says I've abandoned her..each time i try to talk about breaking up she breaks down and talks about all she did for me and stuff like that.. I honestly do care for her a lot but emotionally I'm not just there but then each time i want to break up I start to feel guilty.....I'm really confused and need some advice...sorry for the long read |
My IMO sisters will keep opening their nyash to the whole world especially this mbaise people but that doesn't mean there aren't decent IMO women out dere so the tribalists on this thread should stop making noise..as for the man well I'm sure if all the swear u have received on behalf of your father should catch you....cheating is bad regardless of who is involved and p.s wetin my sisters dey always find in between yoruba boys leg... |
Harrychocoberry:yea I get you but nah I really did hurt her badly doubt she'd ever be able to trust me again though I hope something does happen in the future for now its bygones |
@op felt like you were writing from inside my soul nice write up...been over a year and don't have the" damndest" clue how to even begin to move on though we chat once in a while |
macof:I tell you my broda |
haibe:there are rules and there are boundaries aint nothing to destroy cus overtime someone like that becomes more of a sister than even a friend |
I've known her since primary school days we both attended the same uni and we are as tight as possible,I'm also very close and tight with her siblings male and female and her mumsy was our headmistress back den...truth is if as a guy you can't control urself it be very difficult..she's in a 4yr relationship now and we are still as tight as ever and absolutely nothing has ever happened..its all abt self control to me |
Hehehehehehehehehehehe...ur house girl go enter you room hump you for night you wake up and say spiritual wifey.....but honestly 90 percent of peeps from that church will believe the pastor |
I don't think its really about tribe or religion at least it shouldn't be..the fact is most honest Nigerians are just tired because nothing is working..if you left the country years ago and just got back u would realise there really has been no change whatsover..the roads are the same, the power is same probably even worse, corruption is even every sector you take a look at,corrupt public officials are walking the streets with armed security e.g in a sane country the minister who presided over the deaths of youths in the name of giving out jobs ought to be chilling in a cell or politically finished, the house member caught on tape should probably be serving a life sentence, the most recent tape that indicts highly placed members of the military and govt ought to be the talk of town but hey we are more concerned about valentines and the grammys or who wore what or who is dating who...nothing works in this country anymore and only those with direct links to this govt are the ones seemingly comfortable with the way things are going..we scream we need youths cus the old men keep recycling power but one of the parties i think produced a much younger candidate the last time but yet people overlooked him even with his oustanding qualities so it begs the question what do we as a nation want?...we need some sort any type of change don't get me wrong the opposition could have done much much better and the ruling party well only the late president before GEJ looked like he knew what he was doing..you keep saying the current options are bad how about the other political parties?..till we get rid of this slave mentality of religious and ethnic bigotry we will never get it right as a nation.. |
signor11:that's it o my brother anything but the umbrella party they've tried |
signor11:so what team are u on team pdp or apc or peharps kowa party |
signor11:it should sha come and go peacefully without any incidents..wld have participated but quite far from where i registered..hw bout u |
signor11:hehehehe..aint no heating anything bro...we just dere |
One thing this whole case brings out on this site is that now you can easily deduce those who are genuine GEJ apologists who support him just for the love they have for him or the fact he's their "brother" and those who are being paid and litter the whole place morning afternoon and night...the difference is clear |
signor11:its been a bore so far |
signor11:nah u dnt need to check to know when kids make comments......it was cool and urs |
One thing I've learned from a lot of people around me is that most long distance relationships like the op's own where neither partner is cheating usually involves a whole lot of self-service/phone intimacy e.t.c to survive.. |
signor11:yea sure sad thing is kids everywhere asking questions to which the answer they can't handle |
BuddhaPalm:Trust me with true love not this childish stuff you see nowadays every oda tin becomes inconsequential |
I think in all honesty its a wrong question to ask cus only matured peeps can in all honesty deal with the answer(the real answer) to that question so it depends but personally as long as im sure of what i feel for that person id never ask such and never let my mind drift towards that angle to avoid spoiling the perception i have towards you especially if i already know the no of bfs uve had in the past that alone is hard to deal with cus def she slept with every guy she dated which is fact so why bother myself with further information...its the past and remains that....p.s any man or woman who truly loves you will accept you no matter how dark ur past is |
In my opinion and its my own observation is that northerners will always support their own person and that's just the truth argue it all you want they will all go in the direction of their own person hence the need for the presidency to be very cautious of people like this making such comments after he himself promised zoning the presidency back to the south-east(always knew it was a lie by the way) the way i see it the igbos will again have been played by 2019 cus this same born to rule northerners as we igbos tend to call them will have their power back(if GEJ)wins this year..you can see already plans are ongoing meaning the igbos in the PDP will have to wait another 8yrs if I'm not mistaken and if we are still one before we are even 'considered' pls leave that talk of being patient like a poster earlier said we've been patient since 1999 which kind patient dog be that check am e don die...I feel and this is just me being a serious part of the opposition APC(muslim party as my igbo brothers have called it) seemed like the most sensible thing to do cus it would have sent a strong signal to the PDP that the igbos are not just follow follow and have to be a part of and among the major players but it seems we don't know how to play politics...two weeks time will decide sha...GEJ wins and its all bye bye presidency in the nearest future at least and that's just a bitter truth...GMB wins and the likes of rochas play their cards right then maybe just maybe light at the end of the tunnel...again just my opinion |
Ohaneze abi Massob biko mechie onu...who and who is the igbo that wants to join you and the ijaw to fight...The history books are there for a reason if you want to fight for yoruba or ijaw or hausa pls do but never say the 'IGBOS' will join any ethnic group to fight we are on our own this time around goodluck or no goodluck whatever the outcome of the elections you people should allow us to recover fully from the last fight where you all literaly stabbed us in the back |
