The Minister of Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Abuja, Nyesom Wike, has mended fences and realigned with his estranged friend and south-south chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Victor Giadom. Wike, who was hosted by Giadom at his Bera country home in Gokana Local Government Area of Rivers state on Saturday, January 6, said he was happy to be back to his friend.
Though the former Rivers governor described the event as a private visit devoid of politics, it reinforced speculations that Wike was preparing the ground to defect to the APC and lead a solid team to support President Bola Tinubu.
The event attracted serving senators and members of the House of Representatives from Rivers, leaders of APC and the PDP; two former chairmen of Rivers PDP, Felix Obuah and Amb. Desmond Akawor; Southsouth Chairman of PDP, Chief Dan Orbih; PDP National Secretary, Sam Anyanwu, traditional rulers, local government chairmen, youths and women among others.
Clarifying the purpose of his visit, Wike said: “I didn’t come here for politics. I came here to visit my friend, Giadom. Let nobody misinterprets why I came here. That is why I came with PDP and APC leaders. It is a private visit to my friend.”
Wike said Giadom only gathered his people to show he was still politically relevant, noting that politics was about making impact on the people.
Addressing Giadom, he said: “I have never been in doubt about your capacity to relate with your people. Politics is about impact. If you want to be a successful politician you must impact on your people so that when you call them they will answer you.”
Speaking about how people valued him across the country and how they always posed for pictures with him, Wike said it was a testament of his service to the people.
However, he said: “Forget about these hungry noisemakers on the road. When the time comes, we will know who is in charge and who is not in charge. There is a time for everything.
“This is not time for politics. When the time comes, we will know who is who. If you like abuse me as you want . If you like employ everybody on social media. I have never bothered myself one day to know who is abusing me. Politics will come. We didn’t contest election based on social media. We spoke to the people, they listened and believed in us”.
Speaking on his realignment with Giadom, he said: “Party will come and go and friendship will remain. We have made our mistakes, we are all humans but friendship remains.

It does not matter where you belong to what is important is the interest of Rivers. If you want to be a successful politician, greedy ones will not like you. Nobody has done well in politics without enemies. Those who hate you are in the minority. Those who love you are in the majority”.
Wike recalled his capacity when he held sway as the Rivers governor insisting that he would continue to support the administration of President Tinubu.
He said: “When I was governor, Nigeria heard about Rivers State. That is what I have always preached. So, nobody should be afraid. I have no regrets when I stood by with my colleagues and friends that the presidency must go to the south.
“There was nothing I was not offered. But I said no. That is why I will continue to support the government of Asiwaju Ahmed Bola Tinubu. As I am going back home, I am going with the satisfaction that my friend is back.

“For the first time in the history, Ogoni man is the chairman of works. I am happy that Ledum Mitee is a member of the NNPCL. Let nobody do community problems. When you do that development will not come”.
Earlier, Giadom referred to Wike’s visit as homecoming of a brother, a friend and a leader and assured him that they would support a team he would lead in Rivers.
Giadom said: “Today is homecoming of a brother, a friend and a leader. I stand here on this ground to let you know that we have lived well, paid our dues and contributed to the development of this place.
“Be rest assured that we will support the team you will lead in Rivers to provide support for our President, Bola Ahmed Tinubu, who is the main reason we are all here today. This place nobody can challenge any visitor on this soil. We are in firm control.

[quote author=Visblog post=127486928]The leader of INRI Evangelical Spiritual Church, Primate Elijah Ayodele, has issued a warning to the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, FCT, Nyesom Wike.
Primate Ayodele said President Bola Tinubu and the All Progressives Congress, APC, will fight Wike.
In a statement by his media aide, Oluwatosin Osho, the clergyman said the former Rivers State governor will fail woefully.
According to Ayodele: “Wike is going into oblivion. Nemesis will fight Wike. APC and Tinubu will still fight him. Wike has no career again; God has departed from him and he will be rubbished out of APC.’’
The political differences between Fubara and Wike had created tension and division in Rivers State. The differences led to an attempt to impeach Fubara by Wike’s loyalists in the state House of Assembly. Amid the crisis, the Assembly complex was set ablaze by unknown assailants.
Within the week, 27 out of 32 members of the state assembly had defected to APC, while the remaining five lawmakers continued with their legislative assignments.

DyshApp: A married man has anonymously taken to social media to complain about his wife’s addiction to watching cartoons with their children.
According to him, his wife was always excited to watch and sing along to the cartoon with their kids and she would narrate the stories to them if they missed them.
According to the man, something must be wrong with his wife. While admitting that she has not failed in her roles as a wife and mother to his kids, he reiterated his worry that he felt she should have grown past cartoons.
He appealed for help to fix the cartoon problem.
In his words: "I feel like something is wrong, I don't really get her sometimes. She doesn't even watch the movies I want us to watch together unless I really encourage her. She acts like me not watching those their cartoons with them, I'm missing out on something great.
“My wife, 37 years old, enjoys watching cartoon even more than our kids. When I say cartoon, I mean animated movies. Our first boy is 14 years old down to our last who is currently 4 years old. They’ve turned the home into a cartoon home. They are soo addicted, they sing their songs, do their dances and discuss those things all the time. My wife at her age will be running as if something strange was happening and she forgets herself to be an adult sometimes. I’ve tried to explain to her that I don’t really like it, I don’t complain because they are being happy but, I don’t understand my wife’s addiction. Even when the kids aren’t around, she’ll be watching animated movies alone.
Once they get home, she’s going to narrate all she watched to them and even demonstrate with actions some funny/emotional scenes. I feel like something is wrong, I don’t really get her sometimes. She doesn’t even watch the movies I want us to watch together unless I really encourage her. She acts like me not watching those their cartoons with them, I’m missing out on something great. Is there something I can do to help her? It’s somehow bothering me.
Kindly note that, she’s fully employed and still does her duties as a wife and a mother. I don’t have any problem on that side, I just feel she’s addicted to animated movies when actually, she has grown pass it.”
Cartoon it's more educational and exposes you to life globally compare to zee world and Africa magic that repeat the same old stories. I am 40yrs I still watch adventures and good narrative cartoons with my kids because it enhances my communications with them.

victorkelechi57: The lifeless body of a 28-year old lady has been discovered in one of the rooms at Eagle Rock Garden and Suite, located at 102 Yale Okeowo Street, off Community Road in Ago Palace, Lagos.
The incident took place on Wednesday when a young man checked into the hotel with the lady. After a few minutes, he left the lady behind in the room. The young man, who goes by the name Kelvin as stated on the receipt provided by the hotel receptionist, is now the prime suspect in the crime.
According to reliable sources, the grim discovery was made on Thursday morning when the lifeless body of the young lady was found. A staff member of the hotel, speaking on condition of anonymity, recounted the sequence of events to Vanguard.
She said; “A young man arrived at the hotel around 11 p.m. on Wednesday with his girlfriend, who appeared to be around 28 years old. He made a transfer payment of N9,000 for the lodging and entered the room with her. Shortly after, he came downstairs, inquiring about the closing time of the hotel gate as he planned to visit a club,” the staff member stated.
“He assured us that he would return soon because his girlfriend was still inside the room. The following morning, despite numerous attempts to gain access by knocking on the door, there was no response.
“Peering through the window, we were alarmed to see a leg on the floor. We immediately alerted the manager, who subsequently contacted the Ago Palace Division of the police. Upon breaking open the door, a horrifying sight awaited us: a lifeless, unclothed body of a lady lying on the floor.”
The incident came to the attention of Vanguard when concerned individuals in the vicinity raised the alarm, drawing attention to the tragic event.
Upon Vanguard’s arrival at the Eagle Rock Garden and Suite, the hotel where the tragic incident occurred, it was noted that the establishment was still in operation. However, there was a sparse presence of customers at the time of this report.
When contacted via phone call, the Lagos State Public Relations Officer, SP Benjamin Hundeyin, confirmed his awareness of the incident. He stated, “I am aware of the incident, and an investigation is currently underway. The case has been transferred to the State Criminal Investigation Department, Panti.
“Upon the arrival of the Ago Palace Police Division at the hotel, they discovered the lifeless body of a woman lying on the floor. It was observed that an inhaler used for catarrh was in her nose.”

The ArchBishop should please stay away from politics. Religious leaders are meant to preach the word of God, not dabble into religious-sentimental politics. You are not a political analyst. Stop fanning the fire of religious-hate.
Even God does not support injustice. And injustice is when you are trying to bully the judiciary into declaring the man who came 3rd position, without even satisfying the required 25% in 24 states; the winner.
Sir, Don't drag yourself into a 'religious war' , as declared by the evil, deceitful presidential candidate it is suspected you are supporting. Dont be use as a willing-tool to further create religious division in the country. We all know the reason behind this your 'sudden love' for Nigeria. We all know Sir.
This how you evil and shameless people like you play the victim, what is wrong in broadcasting the presidential court proceedings live for transparency sake. The only contant thing is change and we must change Nigeria to be better.. A new Nigeria is possible..

HOW TO HANDLE MONEY TRANSFERRED INTO WRONG ACCOUNT CASE
In case you mistakenly transfered Money to wrong account and the owner blocked you? or you are duped thru your bank account? and then later realized that you have been scammed or a mistake on your part? And the receiving bank is not cooperating?
HOW TO RETRIEVE YOUR MONEY AFTER YOUR WRONG TRANSFER[/i]
Please read careful and learn.
Many people don't always know what to do, so today am sharing with you things you do, when you realize a page you paid for a service or goods is ghosting you:
1. Write out the Full name and account number of the page or person.
2. Go to the last notification your bank sent you after you made the payment (via mobile app or text) copy out the "TRANSACTION ID NUMBER".
3. Go to any branch of the scam artist's bank (the bank you transferred to), ask to see the CUSTOMER SERVICE in charge of FRAUD.
While you are there, send an email to SCAMMER'S BANK or the d bank u wrongly paid to and copy CBN FRAUD DESK (anticorruptionunit@cbn.gov.ng) n also cpd@cbn.gov.ng & contactcbn@cbn.gov.ng, this will ginger the bank to take it up fast.
What should you expect from this? The culprit/suspects account will be PLACED ON HOLD. His BVN will be blocked permanently. No account will ever be opened neither will he be able to transact banking business in that name until he clears himself with the bank.
Meaning he/she cannot transfer or withdraw until they visit the bank, and when they do, the bank will contact the police and the suspect when proven guilty will sign a waiver allowing the bank to refund your money.
