If your sister's case is placed in AP it means the consulate is awaiting a security advisory opinion. Your sister's name must have appeared in a database or something about her application currently don't add up per the consular officer. So the consulate is awaiting more details to determine her eligibility or otherwise. Usually the principal applicant should have received a notice to that effect.
ACTION;
Write to the consulate to clarify that her case is actually in AP. Ask if the consulate requires additional documents. If the consulate confirms AP status, wait until 60days before reaching out again if no communication.
QUESTIONS;
Has your sister applied for US Visa in the past? Has she ever been in the US? When the embassy asked for pictures of your mum and sister at various stages, were they submitted? Has any of those pictures been at the embassy before?

AndreMarley:
Goodday friends, hope everyone is well. Please i have a question concerning immigrant visa, My mum & I were issued our immigrants visas last month, I was a derivative applicant, my mum being the main applicant but here is the issue, Originally, i wasn't the only derivative applicant of this visa case, My sister was also included, everything was going well but surprisingly, when we got our interview letter in July, her name wasn't included among those to be present at the interview, however we planned that when we got there we would make enquiry about it at the embassy. On the day of our interview, surprisingly my sister's name was in their file over there and while we were being screened before the main interview they asked for my sister, same thing happened when the visa officer came, she called my name, my mum's name and my sister's name but we explained to her that my sister didn't come because her name wasn't in the interview letter, she then asked if we would like her to come now or after, We said after, then after a few questions(we weren't issued our visa that day) because she asked for pictures of my mum with my sister when she was a kid, teenager & adult which we were ask to submit at one DHL office together with our passport which we did, then a few days later we were asked to come pick up the visa... Here is my question please, I tried to check our visa status on the embassy site and I & my mum's visa status have changed to "Issued".. But my sister's own is showing " Administrative processing ", please what does it mean?? I also read somewhere that administrative processing cases are usually resolved within 60days, but its been over 40 days now and we haven't heard from them, Should we write an email to them? Or is there any other thing needed to be done please??

Okedike:
pls I have a question, for how long did you waited before you were called for interview after d whole process
Am not sure I get your question right, but if you are referring to the entire process from filing of petition to obtaining an immigrant Visa interview appointment, then mine took about 7years.

Wow! Kpele my dear. Thank God it all ended well.
Welcome to the US.

pretty16:
Hello my people. How are you all doing? We are in the States now. Spent 1 month in Naija before leaving. Plenty shopping and preparation things. Left naija 15th Got in on the 16th. Took B.A, from London Heathrow to Chicago. The layovers was extremely short. About 2hrs each. By the time we got out of the plane Tru checks, and catching buses and train, we are boarding again. It was a blessing not to wait at all, up until when I got to Chicago. We got into Chicago at 10a.m, passed through CBP, got to the officer said hello. I was so tired travelling with 3boys. Lord have mercy!. Just passed him our immigrant packet. The blue form I was given to declare food, he helped me fill out. I was expecting him to ask me questions, but not a single question. He just took the form and passports and just asked me to follow him for processing. I did. We sat in another area. Waited for another 15mins then another officer came out with our passports and said all done you are good to go. I said thank u sir, And he says you are quite welcome. Went to pick my baggage. 7 huge boxes. My 6yr old was so helpful I was shocked. After loading the 2 carts my son was pushing 1, I was pushing the 2nd. Passed through gate 4 where they checked my dry food through scanners. Thought they were going to open the boxes, but nothing like that. I stated rushing to catch a train to my next terminal. By this time it was 11.30. I didn't know we would go through another check in when we got to terminal 3. By the time I got to my flight it was 11.58. gate had closed. I was just looking at the plane. That was where the nightmare started. Went for them to rebook me on another flight to Columbus. All flights were fully booked until 7.45pm. cry. How was I suppose to spend another 7hrs with my kids at the airport. Lord! my 3yr old, you don't even want to know. "I tell am say him get luck we no dey naija. Cos for that Airport, I for give am him size." I had to start walking over to gate L to wait, no be small walk ooo. Jesus! Their airports are big abeg. By the time I got there, I realized my baby's boarding pass wasn't with me. We started working back to the lady. I think going back was a blessing for me, cos the lady checked again and found out the boarding pass wasn't even confirmed. She and her colleagues started working on getting me something earlier. They put me on standby for 4.20pm. my 3yr old started his drama. Good Lord. God just sent a white mother and grandmother. "Beautiful soul" she stepped in to help me. Carried my baby while I carried my 3yr old who was screaming his head off, that I should carry him. She bought snacks and water for the kids. Came to meet me and said her flight was delayed but she had to go now. I guess this was what God wanted her to do. Gave me a hug and left. By the time I got out to even get her name, she was gone. There are definitely some Good fearing genuinely nice white ppl in this country. I met 3. One gave me his phone to call my mom that I had missed my flight. I no see free WiFi ooo. One was willing to give up her seat for me to travel with the boys on the 4.20pm flight. We all eventually got in. As we were coming out when we got to Columbus, see my people already waiting. That was the big relieve part.

Went to social security office yesterday. My kids own they said will be ready in 2weeks. Mine they said 4weekz cos the immigration officers misspelt my name. They wrote my middle name 2wice before my surname. So they have to rectify it.

Hello my peoples. I got my Visa approved today, to the Glory of God. Had a 6.30 am appointment. I was scared of using taxify cos I didn't know whether they work very early hours of the morning, so I got a yellow cab man to be in my house by 4a.m. o boy , the Cabman reach my place 2.30a.m. I say today na today. God bless him though for arriving earlier than expected. Got my kids set and we left the house at 4.10. got to the embassy to 5. Before we could say jack Robinson, na 6a.m ooo. We join queue. We were moving quickly cos I had 3boys with me, one on the baby carrier then my drama boy, ( my 3yr old) and then my little helper, my 6yr old. We got stuck in front. My 3yr old start drama. We finally entered. Got in, @ the naija section was called in to put passport photographs in passport, original birth certificate, medical report. Me way pack all my photo copies, not knowing that my mom gave them photo copies when she mailed my form to NVC. She gave them extra plus jara cos everything wey I carry them no collect 1. I just carry load go, carry load come back. Then we sat down and waited. For finger printing. Na so my drama boy start him own ooo. He didn't let his brother share his seat with him, not to talk of others, them just dey hail me, say mama boys, the Lord is your strength.
Only 2 VO's on the immigrant section 1 male 1 female. The male VO, white on window 19 seemed nice and calm. I sat across to him was watching the ppl he was questioning before me. I was like lord let this man call me. He eventually did. I went in. my boys were just playing. I just sat baby down and faced him and he asked me.

Me: Good morning Sir.
VO: good morning. Do you swear to tell the whole truth and nothing but the truth I said yes. And then he took my finger print to represent mine and the kids.
VO: first question: how long has your mom been in the U.S , I told him.
When last did she come to Nigeria, I told him,
What did you guys do when she came to Nigeria, I told him, we went swimming, to the movie s etc. He asked which movie we saw, I said I can't remember. He said what car does my mom drive I told him.
Then he said how often does my mom come to Nigeria, I said every year Until 2015, he said ok do you have pictures of your mum and the kids I said yes. Passed him the pictures . First thing he was pics of us swimming , my mum playing with her grand children. And then he saw my step dad and asked who's The Man in the middle and I said oh That's my stepdad. And then he nodded and said oh ok by stepdad that's mom's husband , looked through our WhatsApp call records and passed it to me.
And then the question I was waiting for.
VO : what about your kids dad, I said oh my Boyfriend, and then he said your not married yet, I said no. And he said why is that, I said when my mom petitioned for me, the first thing she said to me was don't get married. The process will take longer if you are married cos she wants us with her as soon as possible. He nodded. And said I should pls give him a few minutes. He went in, after sometime he came out, and then asked me how long have you and your boyfriend been dating I said since 2010. And he said to me, your Visa has been approved. I said thank you Sir. And he passed me the collection papers and the form to pay the $220 immigrant fee.
He didn't ask for my Opt out approval letter. I think they had notified them. Cos they wrote F2B boldly on my File.
He didn't ask for any other documents. My mom had updated them with everything. As I pack the docs go, na so I pack am come back. I thank God for everything. Thanking all of you on this thread too. We have really helped each other 'no man is an Island'. Thanks to tj28, Oladeep, stancima, Fayose4presdent, Wilsub, Elfmann, all you guys who have contributed to this thread one way or another. You guys rock cheesy wink. We need to pop Champaign. Na to begin search for ticket now ooo. any ideas on where to start looking. Na Delta Airlines. For 4 ppl. Abeg make una point me to the right direction. Make I get idea how much. No payment until I pick up my kpali first grin cheesy.

You guys in this group I genuinely appreciate you from the bottom of my heart. Stancima, tj28. USCIS has sent me the approval letter. Thank u so much guys. God bless you. It came really fast.
Was asked to print out a copy of the letter and take it with me on the interview day.
Congrats dear. If your kids were asked to come back in 72hrs it's nothing at all. What they did for them was a mantoux test to rule out Tuberculosis. You are almost there.
I have been busy running around San Francisco for a student housing. Accommodation in San Francisco is unbelievably outrageous. Thank God I made progress with it. Am now ready to hit Naija this weekend ...I hv missed my Nkwobi

Congratulations is just appropriate. The rest will soon be history.
Yes send those documents they requested. The ID should be a scanned data page of your international passport. The letter of affirmation doesn't have a particular pattern. Simply convey clearly that you are not and have never being married. If there has been a marriage and subsequent divorce, report accordingly and attach evidence.
My letter from DHS Accra came within 3days. Am shocked at the length it's taking now; may be there is more traffic now. Let me also encourage you to proceed with your interview even if you don't get the letter. With the benefit of hindsight, I can confirm that I was never asked to present that letter at the interview or POE until this moment. In fact it was after I received my visa that it dawned on me that neither me nor any of my other 3siblings remembered to print and take that letter to the embassy but I already have received my green card.
Your Medicals in Qlife will be ready for collection in 10working days. However I suggest u give ample time for any other unforseen circumstances; like in my own case, I had to fly back to Lagos on seperate appointment for Chest Xray, as the radiographer was unavoidably out of office on my visit owing to family emergency.
My police report was 8months old at the time of my interview in April but I wasn't asked to bring another. This is not to discourage you from getting a new one if you plan to.
Believe me you are just fine. The visa officers are more than ready to approve your visa.
Congrats.

@tj28 and Stancima Oya ooo. Come to the rescue ooo. the letter you mentioned has just come ooo. This is what it says.

In order to process your request, please send us the following documents:

*official ID of beneficiary
*signed, written request from beneficiary requesting the opt-out
*petitioner’s naturalization certificate
*I-130 approval notice
*any marriage certificates and/or evidence of the termination of prior marriages of the beneficiary. If never married, the beneficiary should provide evidence of such, if available (for example, if country has a national registry or records of marriages). If the latter is unavailable, the beneficiary should provide a signed statement indicating he/she is not currently married and never has been married.

You may submit everything via email or regular mail. Once we receive all of the requested documents, we will begin reviewing the request.

Thank you,
USCIS Accra

Sorry my reply is belated.
I initiated my opt out and followed it up to completion without my mother's involvement. I also used a single application to effect the opt out for my siblings. All I did was to get a consent letter from them stating that I had their permission to opt them out as well.
You don't need to write the DHS until you get a response from the NVC. The process was simple and straightforward in my own case and I presume it's same for most applications.

pretty16:
@ Stancima am I suppose to write them or my mom. My mom has already written NVC. Then are we suppose to wait to hear from NVC first before writing DHS.

The Ghana office is in charge of West Africa.
No problems at all at the POE.

TravelRe: At The NVC Processing Stage Of The U. S Family Based Preference Category. by Stancima(m): 11:35pm On Jun 01, 2018
My dear, go on and have a shot at opting out. It's your right. You shouldn't be disadvantaged because your mum became a citizen; it should be an advantage. You can sort this out in less than 2weeks. Write to NVC and get their approval. After that you will write the DHS office in Ghana. They will request for your passport data page and a letter written and signed by you indicating that you are not married and have never been married. Normally approval comes within 5days. That's all. If the consulate doesn't invite you when your date PD is current simply mail the NVC and DHS approval letters to them and that's all.
There is no risk associated with this process; at worst it will be turned down (this is very rare).
Best wishes.
By the way, I have being in the US since 19th May.

pretty16:
.

I should have listened to my mum when she wanted to write them 2months ago. Well no wahala. God is in control. Never too late to write.

Hello, @ Stancima, I forgot to ask, how did your sis interview go? What were the questions like.
My sister and her kids got their visas. My kid brother also got his. My sister's interview questions were more like mine. The VO interacted with my brother in German and according him, the questions were very basic; his and his petitioner's information.

Wow!... That's nice. How was it delivered to u? Was it courier that delivered it to d address u updated in ur profile and if yes? Did u register for d courier? How was ur passport delivered to u?
The VO handed me two white papers. One contained instructions for collection which included the pick up address. The address on the sheet of paper was DHL office in VI. The other paper is an instruction on how to pay for green card.
When your passport is ready, you will get a text message on your phone requesting you to come pick it up. You will also get an email which says your passport is ready for delivery to your address. I disregarded the email though, since the instruction conveyed on the white paper was clear about how to pick it up. Also, I hadn't checked out of the hotel I was lodged in VI, which luckily was very close to the DHL office, so I went there as early as 8am for collection.

[quote author=pretty16 post=67177301]I think 2weeks tops but if you want it express, a couple of days . Yea, I will also get another police report cos June will be 1yr, so it would have expired.

Meanwhile from the look of things I don't know if F1 Will move again this month. someone on V.J, F1 category said he has not received I.L., but his friend on F2b with priority date 26th of May has received. Which means F2B is likely to move again for June bulletin. I for just Opt out, but the guy said he heard from someone that if u opt out, it will take them about 2-3months to process it. I just told my mum to confirm from them first before making a decision to opt out.

My opt out application was completed in less than two weeks. However, you are almost there so I suggest you just hang on dear. The February bulletin predicted that there will be some sluggish to nil movement for F1 in coming months under paragraph F (availability in the coming months). Am sure this trend will soon end in a few months time, as we enter the 2nd half of the 2018 fiscal year.

This isn't a problem at all. Go to www.ustraveldocs.com/ng and click on immigrant. You should see an icon ' create account ' or u click on login, then new user. Fill your email and choose a password ( which must contain both numbers and alphabet not less than 8 characters). After creating the account, go to update profile and fill other details. That's all. I created my account a day after my visa was issued and got a noticed to collect my passport same day.

I want to encourage those who are still waiting for their invitation letter. Your visas are just as distant as your appointment date. The VOs appear to understand that this is a lengthy process and are willing to make the wait worth it, as long as you do not have any previous record that could make you inadmissible.
My elder brother received his own visa today.

Do not make any falsification when 'FILLING OUT' and not 'FEELING OUT' pls

To God be the glory. My visa was approved few hours ago.
The wait was worth it. My interview was brief. Some others lasted for so long. There is a lady who had a thing for pictures, but I didn't go with any picture I took with my mum because the few I had were ruined by poor storage. However God directed me to one guy with a Chinese look. Here is what transpired

VO: good morning and how are you?
Me: good morning. Am fine and U?
VO: am great. Raise ur right hand and take an oath...I did.
VO: are u married?
Me: no
VO: any kids?
Me: yes, three kids.
VO: Are u traditionally married?
Me: No
VO: let me get this right, how do you have three kids with one woman and live together without being married?
Me: I don't live with my girlfriend
VO: explain to me how this scenario is possible
Me: I plan to commence my PhD soon in the US. When my girlfriend had the first child which we didn't plan for, she confronted me with a request to know the future of the relationship. Because I understand the immigration process, I opened up to her and informed her that I have this immigrant petition ongoing and I didn't want to prolong the process by changing marrital status. Having known that this will affect my career plans, she accepted and we moved on.
VO: That is fantastic. You have two siblings in the US?
Me: yes
VO: older or younger?
Me: one is older and works at .......and the other is younger and schools at ....
VO: one of them petitioned for your mum right?

You welcome. One more thing, you mentioned your sis and her kids, she's also on F2B right? Which means she is Unmarried? How old are her kids. Are you both having your interview the same day? If yes to all, would love to know how her interview went. Cos I hear sometimes the V.O's ask children questions too. My first son is 5 and the other is 2, if the V.O's do ask the kids questions sometimes, especially the older kids, I no fear @ all. My little man is capable by his grace. That boy is eager to join his grandma. cheesy
Yes my sister is also on F2B. We were all on F1 but when I noticed sometime last year that F1 was behind F2B by wide margin, I triggered the opt out clause and we were all returned to F2B. My sister's interview is on 8th May and she will be going with her kids. Her first child is 5years old too.
I will let you know the outcome.e of her interview too

I concluded my medicals last week at Qlife. I paid N78125 including the immunization. Although the last shot of one of the vaccines which should be taken in a month's time wasn't included in the bill. They will advise you to take the last shot elsewhere but if u desire to come back to them for it, then u have to pay about 19k.
I went twice and waisted my flight and accommodation because the radiographer who was to take my chest x-ray didn't come to work because of family emergency and there was no one to deputize. My second visit to Lagos last weekend was Smooth as I had my x-ray in less than 10minutes.The result comes out in 10 working days.
My sister and her kids had theirs in Abuja and the result came out in 3 working days. Her kids paid less than 40k each whereas she paid 82k.
When I called the children's practice prior to my medicals at q-life, they told me 82k excluding immunization.

pretty16:
Yes that was what I asked my friend. He said he didn't have immunization records as well. He said they didn't ask. Or maybe u would have to pay extra. I don't know cos he said he used The children's practice and he paid 110k. Don't know why he paid that much cos the children's practice told me adult medicals is 100k when I called.. Even me I don't have immunization records. I've misplaced that of my 2boys. Its only their baby brothers own I have now, cos he's a few months Old.
But my friend told me its not a big deal if you don't have immunization records.

[quote author=YorubaAssasin post=66495163]Anyway, Congrats on the legal victory BUT... good luck finding another coaching job in Europe, Asia and Americas. undecided

You created a bad impression/image (regardless of the circumstance) of yourself, the moment you go legal with your employers. huh It's a Capitalist world... Hire /fire at will or discretion, even contracts are NOT restricted within this confinement.

Go ask all the top, top European coaches (Mourinho, Capello, et al...). Your best bet is to have negotiated a lucrative term in the contract agreement so it won't get to this stage.

Please, it's NOT about race else, he won't have gotten the job in the first place. shocked

Remember, Talent can ONLY take you this far... Attitude/Character/Personality will take you very, very far!

In Yoruba, we say: "Eefin n'iwa... Iwa l'ewa" cool meaning.... Your attitude (good/bad) is like a smoke... A good attitude is a beauty to behold.

It's always good to get your facts right. Firstly Oliseh never sued Fortuna Sittard. It was the club that took the case to the League's court to demand termination of Oliseh's contract . Remember after the club announced his suspension on the grounds of inadmissible actions, Oliseh claimed it was because he refused to be part of a fraudulent arrangement.
Now the ruling of the court that Oliseh 'has not acted as a bad employee' and that the club 'has nit acted as a good employer' should have told you that this is not the end of this story and there are more to it than you know presently.
Not often we see clubs sack a coach who took them from relegation zone to a position for qualification to the country's top flight league football on the grounds of insubordination while the league is still on. It smacks of desperation on the part of the club; being ready to toil with their present fantastic form. Are you saying if it was a match fixing arrangement Oliseh should have consented? And if he is victimised for not consenting he should keep quiet? The world rots because people advocate for silence over condemnable incidences.
