jmaine: OBJ shouldn't even be mentored by people always pontificating about change from the "PDP" ways.
It is all about getting to a point (power) where they can negate the damages done by Pdp and not necesarily trying to replicate such damages as u have been implying.

Obiagelli: this thread is going to the dogs, Oma4j keep your promise.
As long as he starts doing his job from Page 1, i have no problem with it.
Politics › Re: Ask Me Questions On 2015 Elections, The APC And The Future Of Nigeria by Standing5(m):
jmaine: So what is this justification you can point to that has suddenly transformed the "criminals" to clergy men . . .

The President has failed to honour our one term agreement, which should make us the future leader of the supposedly "corrupt" organization.

Is that a valid repentant justification ? Yes ?
@bold part, who is the criminal and who is the clergyman here? Whoever the clergyman is, he could be a criminal too.
As for the 'unbolded part' i will wait for neutral NLders to explain it going by ur response when i demand that u explain ur self in 1st and Second page of this thread.
Politics › Re: Ask Me Questions On 2015 Elections, The APC And The Future Of Nigeria by Standing5(m): 10:27am On Dec 26, 2013
jmaine: Thank God you mentioned the same Adedibu who was given full rights to terrorize the populace by OBJ.

The same OBJ is the man the APC are approaching to rescue Nigeria. How hilarious.
Even when OBJ does not support and fully agree with the PDP any longer . . . If OBJ has been approached to rescue Nigeria it still depends what role he plays. Is he a mentor who is suppose to point out the political terrain to the younger ones or a proactive member of the new movement? In preparation for events like 2015 there is the time to reharse things that will get u there and a time to learn and avoid what may reduce you chance of getting there.

jmaine: A "criminal" merely adorning the robes of a clergyman/priest doesn't transform him/her.

They disagreement was for only their selfish and self serving reasons. That alone shouldn't even be debated as a popular stance .
And what if this criminal comes to point when he decides there is no justification for being a criminal any longer and starts reasoning like a clergyman is expect to . . . Wouldn't the ex-criminal be a bonafide clergyman? The notion of once a criminal, always a criminal isn't the best . . . Even a 'born saint' is a still a potential criminal.

jmaine: How does this change the fact buttressed in the article referenced and the message the people are passing across to camp Fashola.
It is not meant to change anything but a reminder of what situation of things used to be in SW generally. Don't forget how Oyin in Osun built stadia that hardly host tournaments of reputation, all these in the absense of complementing Tourist attraction or infrastructures like hotels before Aregbe started his term. How many people could gather and protest against an Adedibu led team/empire in Oyo?
Politics › Re: Ask Me Questions On 2015 Elections, The APC And The Future Of Nigeria by Standing5(m): 9:42am On Dec 26, 2013
jmaine: The N-PDP and O-PDP were still PDP members before they cross carpeted.

And these people were collectively demonized as "corrupt" and the "killer Party Members" when they were in the PDP camp.

So what changed overnight other than their main grievance of stampeding GEJ from not contesting for a legitimate second term ?

You are just confusing yourself to no where.
Yes they were collectively demonized as corrupt in the past, but after disagreeing with the Party the way the did i think they deserve to be reevaluated ane re-appraised. They are politician who find themselve in a system that is fast turning out to be a two-party system. As for the point of defecting Pdp Members opposing Gej at the Party level, it depends on agreement on ground. When viewed internally from PdP it is hard to fault rebelling Members, if viewed externally from a politically neutral point of view it is also hard to fault the rebelling members when you consider the claim of a one term agreement by GEJ.

cramjones: When you say these things, stop and think for a moment. Buhari is 71 years old. He has headed key sectors in the country and was one time commander-in-chief of the armed forces. Do you really think he active in politics for PURELY selfish reasons or to clean up the mess in the country? Think again my friend, if you were 71years old what will be aspiring for? You think running Nigeria is synonymous to running Mr Biggs? Think again before you make such assertions.
If after all these years Buhari is unable to present Nigerians with a younger and more vibrant version of himself to run for presidency then he is a failure. In every endeavour in life the is what is called Mentorship, a situation where the experience and past struggle of the older generation is related to the younger generation so they don't have re-invent the wheel. By now we should be looking at 40 years old version of Buhari who is in fact tougher and more disciplined than Buhari.

jmaine: How did i forget this. The Kayode Opeifa incidence was even more pitiful grin
You can feast on the protest against Fashola all you like but don't think SWesters will forget in a hurry the level of caos withnessed when PDP held sway there. Do you really think the People of SW didn't feel like protesting or you think the constant terror of Ibadan big boys was small compared to Fashola/Tinubu "dictatorship" reign in Lagos?

jmaine: You should do the covering of your face, cos you barely showed up when men were discussing.

If honesty means accepting your wholesale subjective views, then i gladly refuse to be honest .
I made my poing in the early part of this thread, but you decided to reply me in a funny manner suggesting i was confused, when i put it to you explain your self you couldn't explain yourself or counter my arguments. As for the period men were discussing i don't understand that also and doubt your willingness to explain it to me. Stop acting like there was no division within PDP before 'rebel' members started defecting to APC and stop calling them the same set of people. You based your question on the assumption that PDP was one big family before the defection to APC by PDP members started, but we all know that a N-PDP existed. We also know that Obj and Ibb didn't agree with the way Gej and his co-travellers were running the affairs and economy of Nigeria.
Politics › Re: Why Do Well-travelled Nigerians Defend Mediocrity At Home? by Standing5(m): 3:53am On Dec 26, 2013
In Nigeria, we have the morning, afternoon, and evening standards, it is like our thinking, standards and principle on individual level changes three, four or even five times a day. On second you will hear Nigerians complain about corruption and next second they are celebrating it.

jmaine: 9) How do you hope to convince Nigerians you are the change you proclaim to be when you are busy chasing, wooing and running to the same set of people you desire to dislodge.

10) What is the ideological difference between the APC and the PDP . . .
Correction !
The PDP member who have defected to APC so far aren't the ones who agree with what APC is disagreeing with in PDP. So it is wrong to call them ''the same set of people''.

googlepikin: guy just tell us you want cheap laptops of N20,000 and 30k . Them full computer village, I bought one for my neighbour last week for 35k . 160gb HD 1.8 processors 2gb ram . Compaq . When u go there for a laptop be very careful those guys are magician. You won't bliv how they will show u a 2gb ram laptop and in just a blink they will switch it to the one of 1gb ram . Don't be decieve with that their nylon wrap round the screen. Cos the screen probably have a crack by the side of it. but take you time to go as many shop as u can. Don't just check 5 shops and that's it. Visit like 10 to 15 shops.
I am serious bout it. I am not looking for cheap that could have easily been stolen, I know there are laptop models of 2007/2008/2009 that still rocks eg HP 530. i am just trying to lay hands on them and market.
