mikezuruki: Read it again. Ifeanyi Uba made mention of training graduates and the end (of the training), give the graduates the 300k as SEED CAPITAL. I used the capitalised part to EMPHASIZE the EMPHASIS you talked about. Thank you. How does training graduates bring about accountability for grant they get? We keep over-promoting dependence on govt by sharing easy money out. Let the schools trains the grads. |

dayokanu: Lets see the products of these Private Unis and compare to the federal Unis
Tell us how they perform in any external competition
Maybe Olympiads, Zain contest etc The world is already tired of our public uni grads. Crime and cultism has penetrated the Ghanaian school system all becos of Nigerian public schools going there, u and i know (except u choose to deny) the story of our government and its public uni content. are these the ones u want to compare u public hommies to. If u want to get good opinion why not consult labour employer, recruitment agents, places like NIIT, New horizon and co. were a good number of these grad(public and private) meet. and lets see who comes out on top. Deny all u can it is only for a short while in 6 to 10 years the gap will be so clear there will be no basis for comparison. |

So you mean after sharing 75% of our national wealth to unproductive civil workers we should share more to graduates with little emphasis on what they do with it? |

So you mean afta the gov spends millions subsidizing every federal uni grad, the gov shld start them up with 300k? Dumb idea. How do u give a grad who pays less than N10k as fee for 4/5 years N300k plus one month NYSC salary without encouraging them to go 4 the certificate at the expense of knowledge and skill? I trust our northern leaders and their parasitic sheeps to throw that daft idea out. I support they give private uni grads N1m, state uni grad N150k-N200k and fg uni N0.00, all as a form of support/subsidy. |

Unlike Nasir Rufai and Kwankwoso who have extreme religious views, Atiku is moderate and sees Nigeria as one entity. Besides he is an astute business man who runs a prosperous business. He will run Nigeria like a business and makes us prosperous again.

TheBatman: lol, no be only comfort zone. unless they plan to sell this power(which they can't) or they expect some huge load increase, there is no point in producing more energy than required, because it would be a waste of money, time and energy. N.B you cannot store this power(in a substantial amount), it is used as it is produced
To the topic This is a good development. Meaning?? |

Statsocial: I think 5 megawatts may be enough for the uni. The whole living faith is producing 15 MW via the gas plant, so CU needs to diversify its own electricity into solar energy especially because In a few month Canaancity(15,000 housing estate) and faith theatre(100,000 worship auditorium) would be connected to the Canaanland gas plant which may reduce CU's share of energy. They need to be fast as CU's energy need is also growing larger as they bring in new equipments for their new research hub.. Imagine a church churning out all these. . . . and our Government who tax us involuntarily can't give 10% of what the church they hate can give. |
