That's my major issue currently. I have money laying fallow in my account and I don't feel comfortable with that. Good morning ops. Please I am curious to know why Nigerian ladies see it as a big deal to reveal their age.

It happened that I met this melanin princess via a whatsapp group and we clicked. Less than a week after our first chat. We have been chatting, sending voice notes and did video call once. We even talked about our relationships, tribes and what we do but I was curious to know the age of the person I chat with so as to know how to flow with the conversation, what to say and what not to say because we have under aged girls these days in adult body spread across social media... I wouldn't want to be on the wrong side of the law.

So, I asked her to tell me her age and she blanked off. Later she came and told me the age (I didn't really buy the number cos she looks older than it). I was like OK cool but the next statement from her was... "Please never you ask a girl about her age again, it is our pride". I was surprised like what is the big deal about women's age.

Also, I have a lot of female friends who will never reveal their age. Any topic about their age is a no go area.

Why is it so? I have read stories of people getting into trouble because of their relationship with a grown minor whom they thought was an adult. A good example is popular singer Akon.
