henryobinna: I think am beginning to like iphones, even from the video appears so fluid.... and think it's just 4GB RAM... Android is just wasting resources... maybe because android OEMs are unable to properly optimize the OS to fit the hardware...
Really is fluid. Apple is iOS and iOS is apple. iOS is easier to optimise. The thought of getting an iPhone crossed my mind. But nah.
If you play alot of games tho, Get an iPhone. Or better still, this BAD BOY.
PhenomenalMorgan: I am not talking about the quality of your footage... But how comprehensive a speed test should be!!
I'm not talking about quality either. I'm shooting in 4K.
I have Core i7, 32GB RAM (XMP), 2TB Samsung EVO NVMe SSD and Nvidia GTX 1080 (8GB). Yet it's taking me over an hour to render a 10 min 4K video. Lol. All for the Kwalytey!
Like I said earlier, my videos will improve over time. You gotta start from somewhere.
ayethecreator: lol when you try it and if it works pls let me know. Tryna see between a note 9 and a s10+, which I would wanna get. Can't be toting around a N200+ phone with no screen protection
Lol. I probably will just sell it with the screen protector like that. Without applying it
sauceEEP: Intro is top notch, you are gradually spicing things up so thumps up. Is it my eyes or what? During the speed test i noticed one finger was faster than the other.... It's a tie, the iPhone was faster during gaming test while the OnePlus was faster during app test.
Have to really slow it down the see that. Thanks, I put in alot of work into the intros recently. Excited for you to see the upcoming intros soon. One video took me 7 whole hours to edit. And the video is not even up to 5 mins. LOL!
However, off-camera. I tested. OnePlus does better than the iPhone at anything that ain't a game. iPhones animations are too much. So yh. But if i set them both to minimum animation, the OnePlus can have it completely off but the iPhone can only reduce it. So, left it at default. How most people will use it anyways.
Honestly, very impressed with the iPhone. A thought crossed my mind whether i should own an iPhone next but I slapped myself immediately. I'm good now.
PhenomenalMorgan: Go watch any Speed test by MrWhosetheboss on YouTube.... Very comprehensive... Then improve yours.
Lol. Okay sir. I'll go and watch Mrwhosetheboss and improve mine.
We must also keep in mind that those guys are not living in Nigeria and they have like a 'team' that helps them. Especially with edits. Na me be my team. Lol.
Plus, videography is expensive. The lens i use alone is expensive not to talk of camera. However, this week I'm expecting a 55" Tripod and mini HDMI cable to connect to my bigger monitor. Those 2 alone should mean better videos. Hopefully.
henryobinna: 90Hz is just the display na abi it influences the speed too? 12GB RAM is just an unnecessary overkill... better software still debatable...
I'd still prefer the comparison being between the snapdragon version of the s10+
henryobinna: umm.... I think the comparism should have been between the Snapdragon version of the s10+/s10 with the oneplus... Because in all tests the snapdragon 855 beats the exynos, so for me that accounts for the slight gab in the speeds of both devices
90Hz, RAM Boost, 12GB RAM, and Overall better software.
ayethecreator: I beard most tempered glass aren't compatible with the s10+ because of the under screen scanner. I also heard that it comes with a "screen protector." I wanna know. if it's a glass or its those plastic stuff on the screen
If comes with a film scren protector. So plastic. Not Tempered Glass. Mine is kinda scratched up but I have left it on. Lol. I do have a TG i bought that's supposed to work with the in-display FP sensor. I have not tried it. But i think i will. Afraid of a bad install. I bought 2 tho. Lol
masco131: But on a more serious note....all these new android phones have made me want to come back to android... They are beating iPhone hands down, iPhone just be like Benz of phones tbh....I sometimes regret using iPhone... I miss android and the ability to tweak anything. Thumbs up to the O.P. You are doing a nice job, future MKBHD
ayando: I mean when you can be switching between the two games at the same time just to see how the processor handles it.
Lol. Okay. That's not real world usage tho. Eitherway, in the more comprehensive game review I'll be uploading next. I ran PUBG with Riptide GP in the background.
In this second example, i feel like the 9.5.4 shot did better. Maybe it's the angle? At worst, they are similar. I dont know. However, GCam better representation of everything
daamazing: New major update that enhanced the cam.. You updated? That's the 9.5.7
After update, here's what i found. These are only Night Modes pictures. (Can't test regular shooting till later today).
1st photo is before latest update (9.5.4) 2nd Photo is latest update (9.5.7) 3rd photo is using the GCam app (Night Sight)
There is definitely an improvement as you can notice more details in the second shot. The Texture around that 'Lumix G' on the lens hood. First picture, no detail, at all. So definitely better image processing after 9.5.7 update. The skin is better also, at least in terms of detail but not color. GCam's production is the best anyways. Still.
