Lol. Okay. That's not real world usage tho. Eitherway, in the more comprehensive game review I'll be uploading next. I ran PUBG with Riptide GP in the background.

In this second example, i feel like the 9.5.4 shot did better. Maybe it's the angle? At worst, they are similar. I dont know. However, GCam better representation of everything

1st - 9.5.4
2nd - 9.5.7
3rd - GCam

After update, here's what i found. These are only Night Modes pictures. (Can't test regular shooting till later today).

1st photo is before latest update (9.5.4)
2nd Photo is latest update (9.5.7)
3rd photo is using the GCam app (Night Sight)


There is definitely an improvement as you can notice more details in the second shot. The Texture around that 'Lumix G' on the lens hood. First picture, no detail, at all. So definitely better image processing after 9.5.7 update. The skin is better also, at least in terms of detail but not color. GCam's production is the best anyways. Still.

Lol. Needed to test Fnatic mode. Which meant trying one game for a long period of time. With and without Fnatic Mode on.

And I believe Call Of Duty isn't officially available yet. It's in beta/pre-register stage

Yup, it's sim unlocked but runs on a carrier version (T-mobile) which would take longer to release updates. It's just like getting a sprint S9 and unlocking it. Yeah you'll get network and all, but some would unbrand it. That's what I'm trying to say, installing the international version would clear your data.

Update Done. Data Intact.


Also, see how fast the battery is charging. Everybody else. Look at the time at top left too in each picture.

Adobe Premiere Pro. The S10 video was the first time ever I opened the software. Still surprised i was able to navigate through and produce the video the same day. But yh.

Why don't you load the international version. Carrier locked models get way slower updates, download that and install from local upgrade section. You'll lose your files tho

Lol. Carrier Locked? I have the US unlocked model. You don't lose files installing with the local upgrade option. That was how I upgraded to 9.5.4 immediately after i unboxed the device. This is my 6th OnePlus device.

Thanks for the heads up. I hadn't gone on xda today. Use it less and less these days. One of the reasons they demoted me from Recognized Contributor. Lol.

I'll check if it's for my model or T-Mobile one. I have 9.5.4. May need to use a Canada/Germany VPN to find the update if at all.

i use the note 9. its a beast. but i like the notchless design of the 10models. so my only need for an upgrade would be the 5G and the notch.. have to move with the times .. and i heard about the screen on the oneplus 7pro is bad ass. Does it match samsung screens, and how abt the UI. the phone is huge i think about the same size as the s10 5G. i love hw big it is.

I'm yet to look at the screens of these two devices side by side. But i do like the 'contrast' i get from the OP 7 Pro. I'll put exactly same pictures on both of them and see. I expect the Samsung to be better, but only because... It's a Samsung. Lol
