if you're thinking nairaland is a platform for our youth empowerment, then you are the one making the mistake here. The forum has degenerated with time.

You can be a programmer without the certificate. What they do in university is to give you an overview of the different aspects of computing. The rest is left to you. You'll be shocked to find few lecturers actually know programming much less teach it. There's a reason few people venture into it. But you've already exhibited the zeal & determination so my advice is for you to keep in touch with your computer science friends,start projects,join online programming forums,polish your skills while focusing on graduating with no less than 2.1.

In some schools,CS is joined with the maths dept,don't know about yours. It should be easy to change course easily. Go for it as long as it doesnt mean going back to re-write jamb.

By the way,start looking for ways to monetize your skill. Most Clients are interested in what you can do & not your paper qualifications/educational background. My qualifications didn't make me my first pay, my skills did. Goodluck.

If can't be patient with the current situation then don't stay.

My own is that is there anything wrong with publicly speak out to sensitize the public about rape in 21st century. Why should we educated men stigmaze someone because of he/she was raped? why?

God forbid my wife will be a rape victim. If in my dream that situation happens, and I know going public will put an end to the evil and protect other innocent young girls, I will do it.

Let me also let you know that millions of Nigerian ladies are rape victims, so it isn't a big deal. I would rather marry a girl who has been raped before but has healed fully and isn't affected by it anymore, than marry a girl who has committed several abortions. Infact, I will even chose a rape victim with no emotional or psychological baggage than a lady who has had consensual sex multiple times before.

Wait before your day is made completely, have you heard of "unfinished business"? It is one of the greatest cause of depression among people today. when an event or a situation occur in your life and the effect keep haunting you for a long time. if not readdressed properly, sanity will be a stranger to you.
As for Timi, he should make sure his wife is telling him everything, so that he has nothing to fear.

I think she was only trying to save her marriage cos timi heard stuffs from the church gossip about his wife and fatoyinbo..
