Wordpress is a web builder hosting about 30% of website in the world. I have many people who develop with all their programming skill set with wordpress only, be it html, css, JavaScript, php, node, asp, Java (thanks to wordpress RESTful API). In some project some developers only do data management e.g MariaDB, MYSQL and migration wahala of a thing and that is all.

You're very impossible person. people like you have no profile and in real life don't do any coding at all. You hide behind the internet and talk trash. In reality, majorly it is junior developers that usually pack languages on their head because of employment wahala.

Anyone who can setup a website is a web developer by implication, although many developer frown at this majorly to discourage mediocrity but that is the hard fact.

Nigeria has become so bad that to just earn we have to do full stack and be proficient in almost all, and at the end of the day, we are still paid peanuts.

if you can't afford high cost, make use of caching e.g mem-chache,, ajax queries instead of heavy server reload, picture compression and sometimes replace colors with pictures, provide alrernate static version free of animation and heavy pictures.

There is no way we can provide help with this information, it doesn't pop up can be reason of more than a million. So either you do a proper check, test with another browser, use a different plugin or find an expert.

I posted a thread in may about my fiancée I helped with 100k to start a business and she couldn't produce the capital saying she lend her dad... just want give an update of things

I took majority of the people advise here and celebrate her birthday ....got her cake,wrist watch and celebrated it with my friends and hers at a lounge(paid all the bills).

So the following week I gave in to her pleading and sent her another 50k(she hasn't produce the previous 100k capital but still promised to produce it with time) to get new set of slippers to sell .....and the agreement was she will be sending the money to one of my accounts as she is selling and the capital will be there to reinvest.

This new week I asked why I haven't seen any money in the account.....she said she have sold but she wants some people to balance her to complete 20k and by Friday she will make d deposit.

On Friday I didn't see anything....asked her why didn't she send the money (dat was after bank closing hour)....she was like she wasn't feeling too well dat she told her friend to do the transfer but is not going and she has given her the cash ...... around past 9pm dat Friday she called me if I have seen the alert I said no......the next day she said the transfer wasn't going dat her friend tried it but it was failing so I felt pissed and told her straight she was lying (arguement broke out).

So I told her if she was telling the truth and have the cash with her I will come pick d cash myself today but to my surprise she has blocked me on whatapp and bar my number D's noon.

My friends here want us to go over to her place ..... cause a scene and get her arrested but I don't want to embarrass her parents or embarrass myself.
They are all on my neck rite now like dey ginger badly

...... honestly I don't no what to do.
Just want to know if the right thing is getting her arrested or just let go and move on.

I set up a push notifications with onesignal using my android phone,i followed all the instructions on how to set it up,even watch tutorials from youtube but after all that, the push notifications didnt work.
I used my friends phone and check my blog, to my surprise,no notification pop up shown.
I dont know why,pls any one,help me please.

How do we know the exact problem now. I don't think we are magician here. It is either you tell us the specific problem or you get an expert.

I won't really call it regrets. I've just moved on to something that works better, Javascript. I've used Javascript for as long as I've used PHP but I mostly used the Web APIs part of JS until a few years back.

The single most important reason why I have chosen JS over PHP is because JS can be used both on the frontend and backend for modern web development. I would rather focus my resources mastering one language that can kill both frontend and backend than having to master JS for the frontend (React, Angular, Vue) and PHP for the backend. Things can get confusing when you start to mix up JS and PHP syntax when working on both frontend and backend areas of the same project concurrently.

With JS, everyday, something new comes out, some tool (e.g an NPM package), some framework etc. While it will be a bad idea to just jump on everything that comes out, it gives one a wide array of options to choose from. I also love the NPM library and the ability to publish your own JS NPM packages and have other people use it and also contribute to it. Overall there's just so much life and buzz in the JS ecosystem now and I don't see that happening with PHP. This can change anytime, it could be something else tomorrow. One just has to go with the times.

So I won't say I regret using PHP, I appreciate the exposure it gave me. However, I think its glory days are over. PHP is a nice-to-have skill if one has it already but it isn't a skill I will recommend anyone to start learning at this time.

All of this is my opinion based on how I like to think and work. Someone else could be on the flip side of the coin and love PHP for his own reasons.

yeah someone else like me. I just feel maybe JavaScript appeal better to you instinctively though, because much newer features are now on php, beside I hope you know of php composer for dependency management just like NPM?
Php 7 now support more better type hinting, you can now use closure call() on php like Js, Also php now support return type declaration(meaning you can define what would be returned), session Option and even many more.
beside PHP has one of the most powerful web framework, laravel.
I think you just lost interest in PHP but the amazing thing is Altleast you're happy doing JS

petsonally I love Ethical hacking. But I will advise you do AI.
AI currently is advancing but downside of it is that it requires heavy resources to learn well and you may need to travel out to do any advancement.
For ethical hacking, AI at some point may be needed but you majorly learn about exploitation, and different attack mechanism, just do a professional course in it and join an ethical hacking club.
