Answers are embedded. Also read the first page. debbydee: Good day everyone.
Please i need assistance in making some decisions. Firstly I intend applying for PR but my hubby is not willing to relocate. He has promised to give me the necessary assistance i may require during and after the process. I have 5 years working experience from IT sector though i am no longer working but doing business. Hubby is a legal practitioner with over 15 years experience. I have taken time to study and I am still studying this thread from part one though i am yet to complete the part 5 thread. Now, I know i am to take IELTS exams and I have started preparing for it. Secondly, I am to verify my results with WES/ICES but i just got to know that WES now verify WEAC/NECO results.
My questions are 1, who should be the principal applicant? Calculate your CRS scores to determine who the better PA should be based on age, education etc. 2. which of the verifying bodies should i use in terms of less stress and quick response? - Anyone. Except either of you have a degree for a specific evaluating body eg pharmacy. 3. will it be possible for me to go alone with the children. NB. i have 3 children. - Yes. But if your hubby is the PA he must land with you all. You can’t land before him or without him. 4. Can i start the result verification before writing ielts or wait till i am done with the examinations. - yes. Sometimes evaluation takes a loonggggg time. Also it has a 5 year validity. So I don’t see any problem. 5. Is my hubby still supposed to verify his result? Again this will depend on whether you need to claim points from him as PA or not. Use CRs too to calculate and seee.
Please i will appreciate response form the gurus in the house. Thanks |

We can’t switch then. Mine’s a single person appointment. Sadly. Would have also loved a 2nd/3rd week in Dec date. jholarharde: I have an appointment for dec 7th, I won't mind switching Yakay: Just to chip this in, if you are switching dates, make sure you are not switching single person appointment with a family appointment. I think that matters too(cos the day i called i was given an earlier date, but when I made an enquiry as to what i needed to bring along for the kids, the lady said that date wont be available if i was booking for family) |

God will come through for you and yours! Hang in there Check your PM, btw. aworldcitizen: Hmm, It is well with me. Team London VO, AOR Jan 30th. I was 100% sure, my PPR will be out within 3 months. My IELTS score was perfect, no visa refusal, straight forward and well packaged application.
We got our IELTS at one sitting, ECA evaluation within 1 month because we both have masters from UK, POF gathered without much hassle, work reference straight forward.
This is truly a journey of patience. I have cried many times, prayed and rejoiced. Right now, I am standing strong and trying to go on with my life because at some point I was depressed.
Been a challenging year! Hubby and I lost our Jobs early this year. I was lucky to get one soon after. Hubby still struggling. All funds tied to POF which we cant touch. It was a struggle to pay school fees for our kids in April. Infact, we almost didn't send them to school because we were 100% sure of PPR and we even lacked the funds. House rent is due August 2018. We have started toasting the landlord to allow us pay monthly.
Let us all keep being strong, delay is not denial. It will end in praise for us all.
Congratulations to all PPR! |

stellaty: Hi,I would like to ask some questions regarding the canadian PR: I have a bachelors of science in Economics and statistics from Nigeria and an MSC IN HRM from CYPRUS, should I do the ECA on both certificates?
Page Zero but MSC alone is fine
I am currently working as an early childhood teacher assistant in the UAE and(i found the noc 4214)-is it ok even if my work experience is not inline with my certificates? Yes. No issue with that
Also is it possible to include my mum as family accompanying me? NO. I would be glad if i get a feedback to know my chances Answers in Red. Read Page Zero well though. It'll help you understand the process better. |

rewriting is your only option. If you have the funds go ahead and reschedule another one today if you can (give enough time for practicing sha). If not, change your strategy while you gather up another 68k (or 75k if you wanna go with BC the next time). Idk what your strategy was for this exam but you need to switch it up and practice alot more. goodluck! chibyno4eva: Good Morning fams,
just check my result with mod Listening 6 Reading 5 Speaking 6.5 Writing 6
Pls i need advice? |

Correct, I missed that part. So @doppler06 there you go. Yes to both Newmum0615: Not entirely correct. @doppler06 The answer is Yes to both questions. There is an element of visa refusal in both scenarios. |

Well i think the first one is about visa denials while the other one is for having being denied entry or ordered to leave after entry was granted. So i think your answer should be negative for the second one (if there’s none) and positive for the first one, if any. that’s what i reckon sha doppler06: Hi Guys,
Quick question please for those that had any prior VISIT visa refusal. For the statutory questions part, there are these 2 questions that I feel are the same thing basically. They are: 1. Has Bleep been refused refugee status, or an immigrant or permanent resident visa (including a Certificat de sélection du Québec (CSQ) or application to the Provincial nominee Program) or VISITOR or temporary resident visa, to Canada or any other country? 2. Has Bleep ever been refused a visa or permit, denied entry or ordered to leave Canada or any other country?
I had answered Yes to the second one and explained in the box that popped up. But upon reading the first one again, and the place where it states ""visitor""..... does it mean I should answer Yes as well and then replicate the explanation from the second one there??
Also, I moved to my checklist of documents and I did not get any optional document placeholder. Is it advisable I attach the visa refusal letter together with the documents I'd attach under placeholder for "travel documents"?? or don't bother with attaching the refusal letter seeing as I have already explained everything in details in the pop up box
Those who have been in this situation. please help |

For your first question, see below: 'Do you or your spouse or common law partner (if they will come with you to Canada) have at least one brother or sister living in Canada who is a citizen or permanent resident? Note: to answer yes, the brother or sister must be: 18 years old or older related to you or your partner by blood, marriage, common-law partnership or adoptionhave a parent in common with you or your partnerA brother or sister is related to you by: blood (biological) adoption marriage (step-brother or step-sister)' taken from the CRS calculator. I don't think you can claim points from your uncle. for your second question, (i stand to be corrected) yes it will count as more than one certificate. Simultaneous evaluation isn't compulsory. Success2Success: Hello house,
Pls I have two questions I need help with:
- As regards relatives, can an uncle who is a Canadian citizen be used to claim more points...would the points be for EE eligibility or CRS score?
- If I evaluate Bsc alone and afterwards evaluate a PGD certificate with WES, will it still count as one or more certificate on CRS or I must evaluate them simultaneously to claim more points?
I await your response pls. God bless you all. |
