Thank you so much for your contribution, please I don't mind learning one or two from someone who is actively doing it and can guide me on hot products to push. If it is what you do, I don't mind learning or getting working tips rather than doing trial amd error because I need to meet up, this is not me saying I am looking for a quick rich scheme but something worthwhile |
I started my business as a student at OAU campus, and it was doing well. In 2022, I realized that increasing my business capital could significantly boost my profit. I approached friends and family and successfully raised ₦4 million. I managed the funds diligently, tracked my profits before spending any dime, and consistently paid back my investors with a profit. Around 2023, after graduating from school, a friend introduced me to the peer-to-peer (P2P) crypto business. I felt it aligned with my previous work as an agent for telcos, so I ventured into it. Fast forward to July 2024, I completed a transaction that became the catalyst for my current predicament. I received 'bad naira' (funds from illicit sources), which led to my Access Bank account being frozen. While I was actively seeking ways to resolve this, I continued my business with the remaining funds to avoid disappointing my investors. It's important to note that one of my key investors had grown with me and provided access to substantial additional funds, making it easy for me to leverage capital. However, in November 2024, the same 'bad naira' issue occurred on Bybit. This specific incident wasn't reported until early January 2025, when I suddenly discovered all my bank accounts were no longer operational. I immediately swung into action and, as advised by a friend, engaged a lawyer. I discovered my Bank Verification Number (BVN) had been watchlisted under Section 99. Confident in my innocence, as I hadn't committed any fraud or crime, I instructed my lawyer to seek the lifting of the restriction, but unfortunately, this yielded no results. During this stressful period, in January 2025, I received an invitation from the Special Anti-Fraud Unit (SAFU) Headquarters in Lagos. I was asked to come and explain the transactions in question. I complied, providing a full explanation with supporting proofs. In fact, one of the culprits involved in the 'bad naira' transaction was apprehended. Initially, I believed this would be a clear-cut case where my innocence would be proven, allowing me to be freed and resume my business. However, to my shock, I was charged with conspiracy and fraud, with the justification that cryptocurrency is not legal in Nigeria. My detention was signed, and after considerable back-and-forth, I was eventually granted bail. I was then mandated to write an undertaking to return the money, which my lawyer advised me to do. With tears, I returned the money. Despite this, my BVN has remained blacklisted ever since, and I have continued paying my investor monthly ROI to the point where I now have absolutely nothing left to pay. This is where I desperately need suggestions and help from anyone who can offer it. I have sold all my belongings, borrowed money, and I am completely depleted. The investor is now demanding the principal capital back, which runs into several millions, and this situation is severely impacting my life. I don't know what to do or who to turn to. I've sold my car, liquidated all my stocks, and exhausted my savings. I know this is a lot to handle, but I refuse to give up. I believe there must be a way out of this. I have skills in digital advertising and marketing, and my educational background is in management. I truly hope someone can suggest something worthwhile to help me navigate this horrible phase of my life. Please! Anyone... I am willing to learn or pick up gigs. Any help or suggestions would be deeply appreciated. |
If you must start, please be careful of how you can collect payment The same p2p led me to the current debt of 25M I am facing. It is a good business but be careful |
