Helio p22 ought to be very efficient. It is much better than mt6850 or so on d infinix hot 4, and its performance was good with only 2gb ram(I personally used the hot).

I just experimented this on my Redmi 9A and it did the same. At first it displayed the first 10 apps. On taping the eleventh and twelfth app, it dropped to 9 apps. It must be peculiar to the processor. Your device has no problem.
