You don't get all 10 points because you fail to realize that Vegas is not a good reference, it's a betting hub. Apart from Lebron fans, everyone else can reasonably guess that star power wins at least 70% of the time. You can have those upsets here and there, like the Pistons-Lakers series for example.

Some important history for the newer NBA fans here. In 2012, the Thunder were the odds on favourites to win the NBA finals vs the Heat. Contrary to popular belief that the Heat were on another lever to the Thunder because of their "big 3". This is what LeBron haters do. They make you believe that LeBron was favourite to win every Finals series he ever played. What they do is before every series, they talk crap about LeBron's chances of winning, and then when he goes on to win they say he was meant to win it anyway. Just like in 2012, just like in 2016 against the Warriors, just like in 2020 throughout the entire playoffs.

Here's a video of Skip Bayless in high praise of KD and the Thunder just before game 1 of the 2012 Finals. We know how his stance has changed over the years about that Finals. I can swear he was the one that coined the phrase "Baby Thunder"

And you say the Warriors were given close to zero chance of winning the championship. I kind of agree. Not because Steph had a bad team, but because the media and basketball fans have a different standard for Steph. Steph with 2 other all-stars on his team, plus Klay, plus Poole averaging 20ppg was given zero chance of winning the championship. LeBron can even relate. LeBron is expected to win the championship even if he is the only all-star calibre player on his team and is hobbling on one leg.

If I say 2022 was the easiest championship anyone would ever win, you'd say I'm hating.

Round 1. Against a Denver team that had Murray and Porter Jr. out. Jokic was literally all by himself

Conference Finals. Against a Dallas team that had Luka all by himself. Porzingis had just been traded

That Warriors team had 3 all-stars on it that year. I asked you Warriors fans to show me 2 other teams that had 2 all-stars (not 3) that year, and you couldn't. In fact, better still, show me a LeBron team that ever had 2 other all-stars on it.

Superteam no be by name, it's by production on the court. Steph had 2 other all-stars on his team in 2022. And Klay wasn't even one of them.

And the Final should count as a regular season game as well. They just have to take away one game that the finalists would have played eachother in the non-IST

It's adrenaline. And this was his time to showcase himself to the world. He probably has only 2 or 3 national TV games this season. Those opportunities don't come aplenty. For him to ascend to that level of superstar, he needs a little showmanship. His numbers are screaming superstar, it's the personality that's remaining. I'm all for it.
