yes before the resurrection of Christ everyone who died went to hell and that is because the price for redemption had not being paid but however, those who died in the faith of God's promise when separated from those who died without God and they were conforted pending when Jesus would fulfill die for sin.
So after Jesus had finished the work on hell, he went to hell to reveal himself to the dead and bring out those who died in faith of God's promise so that after Jesus resurrection any saints who die go straight to be with Christ.

If you don't want to be in hell, then you must be born again, and this is by accepting Jesus as your Lord and saviour and that he died for you and rose again to as a guarantee for your salvation.

Hell is a place as well as a state. Hell is a place of separation from God, and also the consequence of being separated from God.

Everyone is born into sin and when they sin they are separated from God in spirit.

The Bible says the wages of sin is death, meaning when you sin God pays you with death. However, there is first death and there is second death.

The first death is reversible but the second death involves the body, soul and spirit and it is irreversible.

There is physical death and there is Spiritual death.

Death means a separation either of the soul and spirit from the body which is the physical death or the separation of the Spirit from God.

If humans die physically and Spiritually then they will die the second death.

What that means is that if you are a liar, fornication, adulterer, idolater, a thief, a heretic, a witch or a wizard or one etc you are dead spiritually already but if you are not saved now and you die physically plus your already dead spiritual state you will first of all be confined to hell and on the day of judgment you will be raised body, soul and Spirit and thrown into the lake of fire!

So hell is for people who have died both physically and Spiritually.
Anybody who continues to live without God with he or she doing whatever they feel like according to their mind are already on their way to hell, if they die then they will be confined to hell before they are finally thrown into the lake of fire.
Hell is for people who die in sin !

Salvation is not something you receive.
It is something you realize.

Salvation becomes:

✔️ remembering your true nature
✔️ dissolving fear, guilt, and programming
✔️ awakening to the Source within
✔️ living consciously, not reactively
✔️ freedom from inner bondage

In this view, salvation is not a future promise.
It is a present state of awareness.

This is why Jesus said:
“The Kingdom is within you.”
Not in a temple.
Not in a doctrine.
Not behind a middleman.


3️⃣ Transaction Creates Dependence, Awakening Creates Freedom
Religions need salvation to be a transaction because:
it keeps people obedient
it keeps people fearful
it keeps institutions relevant
it keeps hierarchy in place

Awakening threatens that system because it removes spiritual middlemen.
A conscious human is not controllable.


4️⃣ Salvation as Awakening = Inner Transformation
Awakening transforms you from the inside:
• Your perception changes
• Your consciousness expands
• Your actions shift from fear to clarity
• You stop seeking God outside and find Source within
• You experience peace that external doctrines can’t manufacture

This is salvation as rebirth:
Conscious rebirth, not religious branding.


5️⃣ So what is salvation, truly?
Here’s the deepest point:
Salvation is waking up from the illusion that you were ever separated from Source.

Religion sells separation and then sells the cure.
Awareness dissolves both.


Conclusion

Salvation is not a ticket, a membership, or a religious achievement.
It is the moment a human being remembers who they are beyond conditioning, beyond fear, beyond dogma, and reconnects with the consciousness they came from.

One path requires obedience.
The other requires awareness.

I have wondered why God being preach to us as a our father can't just say let there be no more sorrow on earth. Even when people cry to their Government, they tend to listen and do something. Why is God not doing something about the sorrow and pain on earth. Why do we have to go heaven before we can enjoy? Is God really ruling this world? Why does he allow the devil to have his way? What does it mean to blaspheme Jesus? Does Jesus Christ not forgive sins? Is forgiveness not divine. Did Jesus not teach to pray to the Father to forgive you as you forgive others? Is there a place where Jesus is not qualified to be mentioned or should not be Lord over?

Christ forgiveness did not come cheap at all he himself bear the consequence. Jesus by bearing the consequence of Sin satisfy justice so that he can justly forgive.

Disclaimer:. I am not Jehovah witness! You don't have to be JW before acknowledging certain unpopular truths in the scripture.

I won't post details of my research here because it's very lengthy, and comprehensive. But I discovered a number of reasons why Christians believe Jesus is Yahweh. Note I didn't use God for a reason. We should be very particular about the God we are talking about because the Almighty God has a name, the son has a name too.

The name of the Christian God is Yahweh or Jehovah.And most Christians think Jesus is Jehovah God. Jehovah God is different from Christ the Lord.

There's no way you can conclusively proof that Jesus is also Yahweh or Jesus is also Jehovah except you are a poor and uncritical bible researcher.

However I have few reasons why a lot of lazy Christians just believe Jesus is Jehovah.

1. Jesus is God in his own right. But he's not Jehovah. If you can understand how Jesus is God but not Jehovah, then you can have a good start at understanding the very subtle differences btw the son and the Father. You must first understand that "God" is just a title not a proper name.

2. Most Christians don't have personal conviction that is founded on personal research. They just flow with what the general Christians body says. Or they just nod their head , jump up and scream yes to whatever their Daddy GO says.

3. They don't believe their Daddy GO can make mistakes because no one can have complete knowledge of everything about God and spirituality. We are not meant to have that complete knowledge. That's why the bible says we know in part. We see in part. Until we come unto complete perfect knowledge when Christ come.

4. Their argument that Jesus is Yahweh is very weak, coming from The book of Isaiah where prophecy about the birth of Christ also mentions the name he will be called.
The book of Revelation where Alpha and Omega is mentioned, and the book of John chapter 1 , the famous in the beginning there was the Word and the word was God.

I'm not here to present argument against or for, because I have seen over the years that people prefer to die with their bias, than accept they are wrong in the face of superior evidence.

Imagine basing the argument that Jesus is Yahweh using only 3 or 4 books from a Bible that contains 66 books and over 60 books where tonnes of evidence shows Jesus is a separate entity from Yahweh... It's crazy how religious bias work.


5. Reading Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John will quickly tell you that Jesus never for once equate himself to be Yahweh. Never. He never implied he came by himself. He always referred to an entity superior to him who sent him. He always gave Yahweh the glory and always call him Father. But people can't see.

6. Some Christians believe that not seeing Jesus as same as Yahweh is blasphemy or belittles the divine nature of God. No it doesn't. The disciples never for once, not Peter, not Paul, Not any ever thought Jesus was Yahweh. They all knew Yahweh and differentiated him from Christ in all of their writings.
You only have to open your eyes and mind while reading new testament to realise no disciples thought Jesus was Yahweh. Not one, not in their writings. The Father is always referenced as a different entity from the Son.
But Christians of 2025 and their GOs seems to know more than Christ disciples.

Well, Jesus is God in relation to creation, the universe, powers and all .... In that respect Jesus is God because Yahweh made him God... But in relation to Yahweh , he's not God, they are different entity. He's Yahwehs son for whom, through whom by whom Yahweh designated the Destiny of the whole creation.

If you run a critical analysis of the new testament to know if the early Christians or the disciples thought Jesus was also the Father or was also Jehovah, the result will show how ridiculous such question is by just reading their epistles. Then you will now wonder if Nigerian Christians know Jesus and Jehovah more than the direct disciples of Christ.

Isaiah 44:6 described yahweh as the only God. There are no two Gods but only one.

So Jesus cannot be another God from yahweh.

Proponents of the false prosperity gospel usually pull this verse out of its context to justify their false gospel but when this verse just like other verses are read in the context it gives a different message.

The riches here is the riches of Bounding in every good work which includes giving. So someone who is poor materially can be rich in every good work hence showing the fruit of christ saving grace in their life.

God can bless us materially but our real riches is our willingness to give ourself unto every good works, we could loss material riches but not the riches giving to us in Christ.

Material riches even though God blesses us with them are uncertain we could lose them, but our riches in Christ is everlasting.

Jesus promise new spiritual family and shared possession within the Christian community is not a promise of earthly riches in Mark 10:28-29.
Proverb 10:22 is not a promise for the riches of this age.

Wordly riches is not guaranteed, it is not the riches of christ.

Christ never became poor for you to have the riches of this present world, that is a satanic doctrine.

Whether rich or poor your salvation is secured. But why should you be poor. Do you know the meaning of the Gospel. It's called good news. That means if a poor man received the gospel, the good news to that poor man that Christ can change your current state. Do you think Abraham blessing that people just sing is just a song.
