He is Allah, the One, the Absolute. (Pickthall) 6:101 Wonderful Originator of the heavens and the earth; How can He have a son when He has no consort? He created all things, and He hath full knowledge of all things. Sura 39:4 and 6:101 agree on the actuality, that Allah does not have a son, but they contradict each other in the issue of ability or possibility. Sura 39:4 clearly states that God could have taken Himself a son from among his creation, i.e. without the necessity of a consort to father such a son. But Sura 6:101 clearly rejects the same idea as a logical impossibility. See how allah made poopoo. |

All processes which we see all the time usually have a cause, so we can also assume the universe itself had a cause which is outside of itself, so the cause itself would be outside of the universe and timeless, because space and time are characteristics of the universe and due to the order and design inherent in the universe, that cause must be personal and intelligent, and also the cause must be more powerful than the universe and since it is timeless, it must be all powerful, all knowing and since itself must be beyond space it must be omnipresent, a super personal being. Order and design are characteristics of intelligence and intelligence a property of personhood, so the timeless, spaceeless being must be powerful beyond time, knowledgeable beyond time and a super person. This is God. The creation is a proof of the existence of God. To know which God is the true God, you have to also seek out evidence. out of all religion, evidences point to judeo Christian God. The greatest test is to test the claim of each religion. In Christianity the test is Jesus christ, The life, death and resurrection of christ is the test for Christianity. Jesus lived a perfect life no religion on earth has any bad thing to say about Jesus christ, some call him a prophet, a teacher or a good man, every founded of religion apart from Christianity has one flaw or the other but Jesus is exactly perfect. Jesus claimed to be the Son of God, the literal revelation of God in the flesh. Predicted his death and resurrection. Jesus said when he dies he would rise again on the third, meaning he had power over life and death. Jesus truly was killed ( he allowed his death) and on the third day he rose. His resurrection is proven by the many witnesses after his resurrection. The witnesses saw Jesus and died to defend their claims. Was it some mass disillusion? They didn't just say they saw Jesus, but he stayed with them they touched him and ate with them, he stayed with them for days before his ascension before their very eyes. For one, Jesus body was guarded by the authorities and it was not possible for his body to be stolen, the soldiers who guarded Jesus body knew the repercussion of allowing Jesus body stolen. The Disciples could not have stolen Jesus body knowing the repercussion and could not have died defending a lie. The theory of mass disillusion have being ruled out by experts. There was zero benefit for defending christ resurrection, rather everything to lose. The eye witnesses testimony of Jesus resurrection are different from terrorists that die for their religion. The Disciples didn't kill themselves or others to defend their claim. The eye witnesses were not defending religion but were defending their claim that Jesus rose on the other hand many religious zealous are defending what others told them without proof. 1 Like |

jaephoenix:you seem to believe in an eternal universe. Do you know it is mathematically impossible to have an eternal universe? By the way the word energy is almost like an arbitrary word. You can't have energy without matter and time. Energy is not a thing, just like velocity or speed, they are not a thing. 2nd law of thermodynamics also goes against an eternal universe. 2nd law of thermodynamics means the universe must have a beginning, not just some state of energy that suddenly miraculously began to expand. |

God is not just a consciousness neither is Jesus just a consciousness. God is a personal being wants you to know him and to become his own. Jesus came to this earth because the father sent him in other to save humans from sin. God is The absolute and ultimate authority and judge, because he is holy he must judge sin. Romans 6:23 For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord. The judgment for sin is death, this death is separation from God. Hell is real and it is terrible it is the place of those separated from God. God is love, life, joy, peace, satisfaction to name a few he is eternal life, separation from God means separation from all the aforementioned. Hell is the embodiment of despair, untold punishment, darkness, hopelessness, gnashing of teeth and the worst of it all, it is a permanent state for all of eternity. Who told you Jeremiah was not accepted by the religious community. The jews accepted Jeremiah but rejected christ, the Jewish nation were the ones God used to preserve the old testament while the Christian church were the ones that God used to preserve the new testament, even Jesus christ acknowledge and subjected himself under the authority of the scripture. You will notice that God uses community of the people of God in preserving his word rather than individuals and all the people God used to write the Bible were well known and accepted by the whole of God's community. Jesus is not condoning unrighteousness, there is a parable that came before it. And another thing, you used an incorrect translation. Here is the kjv 1611 version. Luke 16:9 And I say unto you, Make to yourselves friends of the mammon of unrighteousness; that, when ye fail, they may receive you into everlasting habitations. Mammon of unrighteousness refers to the money, satus and influence. What Jesus is saying is that we should use these for kingdom investment so that when these earthly things fail we would have friends in eternity. This is an invaluable lesson for all Christian not to put trust an earthly accomplishment but instead use it for kingdom accomplishment because earthly accomplishment would fade away but kingdom accomplishment is for eternity. |

The biggest miracle is the creation of the universe, even scentist although they cannot explain but yet evidence points that the universe has a beginning, now which means whatever brought the universe into existence is outside space-time. If the all scientific evidence points to the biggest miracle which is the creation of the universe out of nothing then snake talking, Noah's ark, fish that swallow Jonah etc is little in comparison. One miracle is needed for science to be possible and that is the creation of the universe but however miracle is miracle, everybody believes in atleast one miracle. Then why does Rev. 3:14 say that Jesus is "the beginning of the creation of God"?The beginning means he is the source and ruler of God's creation. 6. Then why is he subject to GOD, like we're subject to him? (1 Cor. 15:27, 28; Eph. 1:17)again as a human he is and will be subject to God. 7. Then why does Micah 5:2 say that Jesus' ORIGIN was “from early times”?early times actually time indefinite, that is how God's origin is described for example in Habakuk 1 vv 2, God is said to be from early times. Also in psalm 90 God is said to be God from early times to early times or time indefinite, eternity can also be referred to as time indefinite or ancient time. 8. Then why does Jesus not know what God knows? (Matt. 24:36, Rev.1:1; Luke 8:45)Jesus was working withing the limit of his humanity. 9. Then why is Jesus still subject to God when he is as high as he will ever be? (1 Cor. 15:27, 28)when Jesus took on flesh he was no longer as high as his father infact when he was on earth before his resurrection he was even a little lower than the angels. 10. Then why does Proverbs 8:22-31 show that the Messiah was CREATED / PRODUCED by God?Since you agreed that Jesus is the wisdom of God are you then saying that God created his own wisdom? IN Proverbs 8 vv22-23 the word create simply means to ordain or set over in position over all things. Proverbs 8:22 The LORD possessed me in the beginning of his way, before his works of old. 8:23 I was set up from everlasting, from the beginning, or ever the earth was. You can see that wisdom was possessed by God before his works (creation) meaning wisdom was not created but was established before God's creation. 11. Then why is he not powerful enough to subject things to himself? (1 Cor. 15:27, Eph. 1:17, 22)Christ has the power to subdue all things unto himself. Philippians 3:21 Who shall change our vile body, that it may be fashioned like unto his glorious body, according to the working whereby he is able even to subdue all things unto himself. 12. Then why would he have to be given any power and authority? (Mt. 28:18; 11:27; Jn. 5:22; 17:2; 3:35; 2 Pet. 1:17)Because he took a lower position of a servant. 13. Then why did he have to learn anything? (Heb. 5:8; John 5:19; 8:28)Since Jesus became a man he experienced life as all humans do except he never sinned. 14. Then why is speaking against him not as bad as speaking against the Holy Spirit? (Mt. 12:31,32; Luke 12:10)that is due to the office of the holy Spirit as the power of God. 15. Then why did Jesus call the "Father...the only true God"? (John 17:3)The father's position is to be the source of authority and power hence he is called "the God" the devil is also called "the God" of this world because he is also the source of authority and power for decieved men. So the Word "God" can be used to described one in position of authority and power or one who is truly God. The Father is the ultimate source of authority and power and hence the only true God among other false gods competing for the father's position. 16. Then why did he need to be saved? (Heb. 5:7; John 12:27)as a man he genuinely was sacred to die and hence need to be saved from this fear of dieing that is why he prayed father not my will but thine will be done. 17. Then why did he have to be exalted to Leader and Savior? (Acts 5:31)same thing, he took the lower position of a nobody but was exalted to his position as Lord and saviour. 18. Then how could he be exalted and given a higher name than he had? (Phil. 2:9-11; Heb. 1:2-4)Same thing, name here means authority. 19. Then why did he have to be given life in himself? (John 5:25,26)Jesus as a man was totally dependent on the father, he was able to live, die and resurrect because the father has already given him that power to have life in himself. 20. Then how can the Father be greater than he? (John 14:28).In position and as a man the father is greater. 21. Then how could Jesus be tempted by Satan when God cannot be tempted with evil? (James 1:13)Because he was a man. 22. Then why did he worship the Father? (John 4:22)who should men worship? Since Jesus was a man he worship the Father who is the only true God. 23. Then why can he not do anything on his own? (John 5:19; 6:38)This is a merry go round question. He came by the will of the father and to do the will of the father, so he had to totally depend totally on the father. 24. Then why would he pray to anybody? (Luke 22:44; John 17:1,2; Heb. 5:7)again because he is a man and he wanted to live an example for us. 25. Then why do John 1:18 and 1 John 4:9 say that Jesus is God's "only BEGOTTEN Son"? ASVonly begotten simply means he is unique, he is a Son because of his eternal relationship he had with the father. God is love and for love to exist there has to be a relationship. Since God is love there exist relationship within the Trinity, the kind of relationship that exist between "the word" and "the God" is a Son to father relationship, that is why God also want to establish a relationship with us humans because he is love. 26. Then how can he be God's servant? (Acts 4:26,27,30)Philippians 2 says Jesus took the position of servant in other to take our place on the cross. 27. Then how could he receive strength from an angel? (Luke 22:43)because Jesus, like Adam was a little lower than the angels. 28. Then how could he be a mediator between God and man? (1 Tim. 2:5)because he is a man only man can be a mediator for men. 29. Then how could he be with God (ton theon)? (John 1:1)Because he is a separate person from the Father. 30. Then how can he be God's image? (Col. 1:15; Heb. 1:3)He is God who became visible as a man. 31. Then why is he called the agency (dia) of creation and not the Originator (ek)? (1 Cor. 8:6; John 1:1-3; Prov. 8:30; Heb. 2:10; Col. 1:15,16)It is his person and office as the word through whom the father's plan, Will and commands comes to pass. 32. Then why did Jesus say GOD was "good" in a way that Jesus was not? (Mark 10:18)Jesus never said he was not good but goodness does not originate from humanity but God hence call no man good but God. 33. Then why does he have an archangel's voice instead of God's voice? (1 Thess. 4:16)Jesus does not have the arch angel's voice but rather he comes with the voice of the archangel meaning the archangel comes with him at his coming. 34. Then why is the only "worship" given to him the same given to humans? (Heb. 1:6, cf. Mt. 18:26; Rev. 3:9 - "Proskuneo"that word proskuneo is also used in reference to God, Jesus is given same worship as the father. In Revelation same honor, glory and majesty given to the father is also given to the Son. 35. Then why do many who believe this rely on a few selected, so-called 'proof-texts' instead of the context of the consistent teaching of the entire Bible?ignorance or deliberate attempt to twist scriptures to teach what they intends. 36. Then how could he be commanded to do anything? (John 12:49; Deut. 18:18)Jesus' purpose of coming was to be the suffering servant and to die for the sins of the word, he mostly taught in parables and did not reveal everything but said the holy spirit would reveal them. Jesus however do give hint about his divinity both in his parable, life and works, at some times the pharisees wanted to stone him because they said he claimed to be God but he didn't deny their allegations, one of the foremost reasons they kill Jesus was because they claim he blasphemed. If the Holy Spirit is Almighty God...If the Holy Spiirt is called an "it" it is due to gramatical nature of the word "Spirit" however Jesus clearly referred to the Spirit as a person, who will reveal, bear witness and be an helper, the Holy Spirit can get angry, can be sinned against (you can't sin against a mere force) and his name (authority) is equally used in baptism just like the father and the Son. God said he filled the heavens and the earth does that mean he is not a person? Same way the holy spirit can fill the believers in different measure but however he is a person. He can also be grieved, an impersonal force cannot grieve. He spake in Acts to separate Barnabas and Paul for the work that he has for them.
