My interview Questions : my name, date of birth, nationality, school, course and resumption date.
Why this course, who is sponsoring me? What's their occupation? How much do they earn and how do they get the fund? How will the course help my future goal? What have I been doing? My current salary, what do I intend to earn after completing my studies? Where will I stay when I get to UK? Have I made any deposit? How much is rent fees per month? How far is it from the school? Do I have family or friends in UK? Why not other country and why UK. What's my course duration and how will the modules help my career. Those are the questions I was asked at the interview today. |

Mine is just to change to the main campus with same course, some were even asked to change to another course at the main campus in Paisley before they can be accepted there and to ignore the previous admission granted |

Ekitibiased: My very candid view of all this from a personal point Just in case, it might be for STENON or even someone else
I recently had a successful application for my tier 4 visa. I began to consider my options since last year and made up my mind on the UK by April this year. Got a job and suspended plans till next year on the advice of my uncle in London to chill and let brexit matter settle as post study visa might be returned
I checked my course frequently on mastersportal and 'always' used the filter of lowest tuition fee . Financial cost was a major consideration and having an uncle in London meant for me that accommodation was sorted and the real cost alone was mainly tuition. I never considered any school outside London and my school give £1,600 discount to all international students. In a situation where you are not given your choice of campus, and which is away from where your aunt resides, the key concern is your financial situation . Can you afford to pay for the accommodation elsewhere which is not gonna come cheap at all, from free to very expensive If I were in your shoes STENON....this is what I would sincerely do. 1. Request for a refund Can't be sure how long this takes but administrative fee is deducted from refunds, it's less than £200 2. Apply to some other schools in London ASAPd get same or similar courses You have a chance to get CAS in less than 2 weeks and if you already have your statement of account, you can apply with it as long as it is within 30 days.
That's all I have to say......but if you are financially buoyant......my sister you no get problem Good morning and thank you for your message. I have expressed my dissatisfaction about the new development, a group whatsapp was created yesterday to carry us along based on this new plan and most international students have been expressing their anger about leaving London to Paisley. There were series of inconclusive administrative meetings yesterday but they promise to reach final conclusion today. It is a very difficult one for me to apply to other schools right now |

davide470: Baba you calm down. I believe Stenon telling the aunt would directly signify she wants the aunt to sponsor her accomodation outside London which may not go too well with her (depending on closeness though) and the aunt might just tell her to forget about the Uni. or coming to the UK, maybe if the school calls her directly, both parties might come to an agreement. We were all JJCs before entering UK and now, our "eyes don tear" so don't blame her.
Assume all information are correct and provide answers/suggestions/correction. Nobody be Met. Police for here. Good morning Mr David. I intentionally avoided quoting his response so as not to be rude or harsh with my commment. You perfectly understd the situation on ground and you have just said what I am passing through. I appreciate your coincise explanation for him. I pray he understand your salient points. Thank you sir |

Zoey1: Before casting a stone at someone, have a proper read. Did you SEE that the school operate in more than one campus? And they decided they are no longer issuing a CAS with the previous location. How is it his fault here, it happened to me with Coventry and I know how this works until I drilled them they didn't tell me the course was not going to be available at London Campus for 2018 and 2019 session. Yet I asked before applying. They offered Coventry Campus and I declined. Because it didn't happen to you does not mean He's not truthful. You just won my heart by your response. Thank you for your comment sir. |

Zoey1: Hmmm, Why not explain to your Aunt. If she can afford to house you then she can still help with accommodation if you are not with her,you don't get an answer unless you ask her first. Relax! Thank you bro. I am still afraid of informing her about the new development |

Please what should I do?
I applied and got admitted to UWS London campus with low tuition fees but main campus is in Paisley with high tuition fee. I have paid my full tuition for UWS london campus . The plan is to stay with my Aunt. in London And she will be responsible for my living and maintenance fees. Although the 28 days count of money in my account should be completed this week Tuesday I am applying for visa this week Wednesday or thursday ... But my school called me now and said they won't issue me CAS to London campus due to some managerial issues and that they will be issuing me CAS for same MSC course to main campus at Paisley. They said they will offset the tuition difference for me, but The issue now is I don't have any support for accommodation and maintenance by myself. I am just so confused right now |

amofum: I don't what your intentions are, but this kind of comment does not help. You may have achieved so much, but belittling other people's efforts is just sickening. It's as good as cyber bullying. My intention is to assist him and score high even without the assistance of any tutor. It is easier to get sound knowledge from the basic maths textbook before dabbling to GRE textbook. |

Coloniel5000: hello house, actually have been here once and I did write GRE but no much preparation and I score low Q,139, V,145, Awa,3.0... and I decided not to write again since my school never ask for GRE as requirement for my program, my visa has been refused on several attempts and have started my MSC here in Nigeria... but I'll be applying for my PhD next year and I'm considering top schools like Harvard, Standford and the likes...I know I'll be needing a good GRE score, but truth be told, I'M SCARED OF GRE, I can cope with the verbal and AWA part but maths is my problem... frankly speaking after months of preparation I remember I went for my GRE test and in the exam I had to just pick quantitative answers at random because I just couldn't solve any...just to say I'm TERRIBLE at maths...but I really want to score at least 310 above if I must get into those schools since my other application is good.. have decided to write GRE again and spend enough time preparing against next year application for those top schools..... PLEASE HOUSE, HOW CAN YOU HELP ME..I REALLY NEED HELP. THANKS. Sorry about that. Please Don't start preparation by GRE textbooks for quantitative. Go and buy new general mathematics for JSS1, JSS2 and then move to new general maths for Ss1 and ss2. After that, you can start going over GRE quantitative textbooks. All the best to you |

Ayommeh2018: Thanks. For my first application, the ECO asked all the normal questions you see online - why did you choose the school, course, what other courses where you considering, why did you settle on this school/course etc. - I will attach the excerpts from my refusal transcript to show what was picked on . Anyway tried to explain myself with the AR - that I don't have to do a management course to take up a management role and that the ECO didn't hear me properly that I meant N400,000 and not N400 but the AR was not successful. When I was doing my first application, I included letters from my office and my payslip which is probably why the ECO asked me work related questions - so it's best to avoid including unnecessary documents.
For this application, there was no interview because it was super priority Thank you so much for sharing. Please how much in total did you spend on super priority and the whole visa stage including the IHS? |

Ayommeh2018: All glory to God!
I got my visa today!
Thanks for all your support.
For anyone trying to apply - I would suggest opting for priority or super priority if you can afford it. As I mentioned before, I applied in September and got rejected. I submitted the same application again which was successful. The only difference is the credibility interview which I feel is very tricky and maybe should be avoided. Also avoid including unnecessary documents, stick to what they ask for.
Good luck to everyone. Congrats. Please can you share your first and second credibility interview questions? |
