I think there is a lot of focus on counseling before wedding but little or nothing after. I think the transition phase from fiance/fiancee to husband/wife is a critical one. There should be a 3-6 months post wedding counseling programme to help the transition
Might help reduce divorce rates

it doesn't mean much, even after 6years marriage classes, couples who will divorce will. The assignment if you two are meant for each other should have been solved before marriage classes.

Exactly! Same here. I have spent a night in hospital though because I was scheduled for a surgery early the next morning. It was horrible. For starters, there was a "crazy" guy that they brought in. He was either high or coming off something because he was hallucinating all over the place & had broken his hand. His mom said he punched a wall, while fighting off the things he was hallucinating about. To make matters worse, he was put in the same room with me & had to be tied down on the bed because he kept trying to run away. So there was that & him saying scary stuff. I couldn't keep my eyes off him, I was really scared of him. On top of that, there's the roaming killer thing I keep associating with hospitals. It was hell because they switch the lights off at night & only leave them on in the hallways. So you keep seeing shadows underneath the door. Every time I heard a screeching sound I became convinced the killer was scraping his hook against the wall...coming. I became so scared that I asked one of the nurses if I could come sit with them at the nurses' station because I just couldn't function with the crazy guy in the same room & all the other unseen noise that could be from a nutcase on a mission to kill. Thank God they agreed. From that day until today, hospitals are a no-no for me. There's just too much there to make you imagine all sorts of things.
