You can’t edit this particular application anymore but you can start afresh, you’d be given another transaction number.
Is the Transction number the same as the Visa Application Number? I am asking because I am told I need the Visa Application Number to pay my Euro bond.

I just submitted my online application. Please, what is the next step ? Is there any other thing to fill or should i go ahead to book an appiontment?
TravelRe: GENERAL Irish (student)visa & Work Permit-New THREAD*** by Stephanie22: 9:35pm On Aug 10, 2020
Dwebb55:
You can generate a new transaction number as long as you haven't submitted at VFS. Whatever needs to be changed is allowed until you submit. So start a new application with the required documentation
I will start the application all over again. Thank you so much.
TravelRe: GENERAL Irish (student)visa & Work Permit-New THREAD*** by Stephanie22: 8:05pm On Aug 10, 2020
Dwebb55:
Your best bet is to start again since you are yet to submit.
Do you mean yet to submit my supporting documents at VFS or yet to submit the online application?

I had already submitted the online application and was already given a Transaction number.

Can i still start the application again? Will i be given another transaction number?

If going to Griffith College, you could send them an email @ their International office , they are proposing using Charter plane to airlift their students later in the year.
Thank you ICaSNg but i am going to UCC. Do not know how it is going to be done.

Hope we are all staying strong and safe?

Irish visa application requirements for 2020/2021 is currently fluid (Adjusting to fit needs and situation at this time).

Few points we will like to advice you to take note of are:

Including a confirmed accommodation for 2 weeks where you will have access to your personal toilet and bathroom- This is not confirmed yet but will go a long way convincing the visa office that you are willing to self isolate on arrival.

Also, the vfs office may be scanning docs to the Irish Embassy in DUBLIN- processing time is advised at 8 weeks but kindly prepare for 10-12 weeks.

By mid June , I think we should be set to stay putting in visa apps.

Duolingo English test is acceptable by both Universities and the Embassy for this year- If considering a January / Feb 2021 intake, please do not take this test yet for Visa application purpose.

If you will be schooling @ ITSligo and your TOEFL / IELTS is within the last 3 years, then its acceptable for both admissions and visa app* strictly for this school only.

The next weeks will be extremely busy especially from June, but we will try to keep ya'll updated.

Cheers
For the accommodation, what if you share the room but have a separate bathroom and toilet?

With this 14day self isolation, will it be possible for one to stay in all these backpackers hotels considering that they are shared facilities?
Exactly, that has also been an interest.

Do you mean that the 7,000 Euros has to be in my account instead of being in your sponsors account? Please reply
TravelRe: GENERAL Irish (student)visa & Work Permit-New THREAD*** by Stephanie22: 11:52am On Jun 19, 2020
ICaSNg:
This message came from Michael @ NCI.

Its worthwhile to clarify that , a student is the one required to show access to 7000 euro as proof of funds, however it seems logical that if you are being sponsored, your sponsor should have money left for themselves asides the 7000 assigned to you.

I hope everyone is clear about the 10000 euro now.

All the best
Do you mean that the 7,000 Euros has to be in my account instead of being in your sponsors account? Please reply

My statement of account is not up to 6months but will be 4months when I would be applying for my visa. But my sponsors statement of account is up to 6months?

Please gurus in the house, hope this wouldn't affect my visa?

Please house. How much does an average student apartment cost in Cork?
TravelRe: GENERAL Irish (student)visa & Work Permit-New THREAD*** by Stephanie22: 9:19pm On Feb 20, 2020
ICaSNg:
I'll post on that soon. But definitely Accounting and Finance are highly sort for. Howbeit, Accounting students with relevant years of experience/ ACCA stand a better chance for long term work sponsorship.
Thank you.

I want to quickly ask a question. How is the 6 months bank student statement supposed to appear. Should the printed bank statement carry a salary account tag on it? Should it come with a payslip? How should the account presentation looking like for visa application?

Note; i am not taking about the sponsors bank statement but that of the student. Thank you

WHAT ARE THE IT JOBS IN HIGHEST DEMAND IN IRELAND?
IT is a thriving industry in Ireland, and many multinational companies based here require skilled IT professionals for a huge variety of roles. Whether you are a project manager or a specialist in software design, you will find exciting and challenging jobs to fit your skillset here.

IT JOBS OF THE FUTURE
It can be tricky to decide where to focus your skills in this sector, but if you are an IT graduate or you are re-training to work in this area, you may be interested in the following ideas. These are the top five IT jobs in Ireland at the moment:

1. IT project management. This role currently tops the charts of the jobs most likely to be in demand in the future, and it doesn’t always require an IT degree. If your communication and organisational skills are strong, this might be a good avenue to consider.

2. Software systems developers. A software systems developer creates and modifies software systems, and this is crucial across most industries, including the public sector. This requires a skillset that is likely to remain in high demand for years to come.

3. Data Analysts and Business Analysts

4. Software tester. Since technology has progressed at such a staggering pace in the last twenty years, software testers are in very high demand in many areas. This role accounts for twenty percent of jobs in the IT industry, and is all about locating bugs and identifying problems in new software packages.

5. Technical support. Because users are handling more advanced technology than ever before, comprehensive technical support is vital. Those with the skills to support the customers and users of a product, whether at home or in large businesses, will be essential to the future of IT.

6. App developers. Imagination and creative vision will be a key asset if you are considering app design as a potential career path. Developers are in demand for app development across many industries, including multinational corporations, local companies and even government organisations.
What about Accounting / Finance courses?

Long as it’s a student visa, the pay less Attention on your pay/salary so far your not self sponsored. I assumed your being sponsored by your parent so you either tender their bank statement or have them transfer the funds into yours
Okay thanks so much
