- You'll remain where you are if you try to follow the exact steps of anybody - success is very much about preparedness meeting opportunity/luck.

Sometimes, no amount of personal strategy can get you massive wealth; but there are certain QUALITIES/SOFT SKILLS that can put you on track, namely:

1. Have a skill that can help other people/business make money - not just paper pushing desk jobs - sales, marketing, business assets development.

2. Network with people richer than you, BUT NEVER ASK FOR FINANCIAL SUPPORT - if you network just yo have access to them and their network in a mutually beneficial relationship, you'll learn alot and they'll connect you to opportunities too.

3. Discipline - There's NO REASON why you should be living above your means - don't rent a posh house because of swag that will take 5months of your salary to pay. Save aggressively and if you can't find trusted long term investments, then invest in YOUR SKILLS - learn something new, get certifications, etc.

4. Learn to say NO - Now that you're still struggling, you can't afford to bail out everyone everytime. You have to set boundaries on your finances too, and cut down any and every unnecessary expense.

5. If you're a man, quite any transactional romantic relationships where growth is not mutually encouraged - if all you're getting is sehxs and billing, then just stay single for sometime.
