Following to learn. But anything buy and sell dey always sure. I've seen most people turn to gadget selling (more like middle man), they go to shops, snap pictures of items - post on WhatsApp status or sites like jiji - even nairaland kpa kpa, when they get a customer, redirect to the dealer and get your commission. Sha do this only with a trusted dealer wey nor dey sell scrap. And talking of scrap, you fit run iron condemn too - cartons, plastic bottles, aluminum cans - if you have access to where they're often disposed. |
Sirchiboy:Do you ever take responsibility for your own life beyond blaming your fair-complexioned mother? Unless you're doing ragebait, it's becoming pathetic. On the topic: 1. Don't be antisocial when it comes to networking - you'll climb in career and personal development faster when you team up with likeminds - friendship is currency. 2. Stay closer to family, not just nuclear - also extended families especially if they have a platform where they ocassionally hang out. 3. Save money, it doesn't have to be alot, but enough to keep you balanced for minimum of 1year - it gives you options, that way you can quickly take some risky decisions related to personal/skill development which will always pay more than being stuck in one place because of living from paycheck to paycheck. |
It's not a responsibility. It's an expression of love and gratitude. I'll always say this "I don't know the kain parents y'all had, that makes taking care of them look somehow". I lost one parent while I was still in Primary school, the second parent literally raise me and my siblings to where we are today, never sent us off to stay with relatives cos no one can take care of a child like a parent. This parent that sacrificed so much just to see us turn out responsible in life - not just academically, but also with good morals and unbending self-respect and esteem to me DESERVES everything I can give. Why am I writing that epistle above? If you had (a) good parent(s), you'll see it as an honour to actually take care of them now thay they're not as strong as they used to be. Yes, I intentionally used a gender neutral pronoun. |
Na lie. They'll only mock you if you become a chronic beggar; always relying on others for your sustenance but never taking the initiative to become independent. The truth is, we all ask for help. Just don't ask for personal favours from people you don't have a deep relationship with - it puts unnecessary strain on the friendship especially if you don't have any value to give in return or kind. |
If you see where some buka for dey prepare food eh, you go start dey cook by force. Some of them are so nonchalant about it. |
I completed the Software Development program. The learning system is pretty easy, no complicated software - it runs on the browser basically. I don't know much about their data analysis curriculum though, but I've heard good things about it. As the guy up there said, it's pretty much intensive, but rich. |
Now, on the topic.... Unless a woman has obviously shown real ability in managing a business, or has gotten training in it and she shows the zeal, don't waste money trying to "FORCE" abi invest in a new business for her. You need to have a conversation with her (wife) and then support her efforts with something - but she has to be financially invested too - if a person doesn't have anything to lose, they don't value what's in their hands. These are the kind of conversations y'all don't have during dating - maybe she would have benefitted more from getting a skill than business. |

40 days "mourning" - but your citizens are dancing and celebrating in countries where dey feel safe. |
SmartPolician:Gbam! Zero leadership skill; they want the benefits of leadership alright - convoys, people standing up for you at events, paid ediots singing your praise so they can deserve their stipends. But completely blind about strategic positioning to maximize their human resources; non-existent knowledge about attracting FDI - but will spend the country's resources gallivanting from one European country to another. If their incompetence gets challenged, they start witch hunting, or blaming past administrations. But black South African governments have actually fared better than the rest. They have home grown countries that have gone multinational - their economy has not gone to the dogs, compared to one country whose 1 unit was once equal to 1 pound. |
Lanre1st:Are you saying that this man by your understanding from verifiable news about his leadership was a good person? It's one thing to immortalize a person, it's another thing for him to be truly reverred. The Gaddafi case, yes Libya has turned to a shadow of his former self... But as Trump is saying now to the Iranians, now os the time to take hold of your destiny - the Libyans didn't. My point again about Jesus, his dead was celebrated by the Jews, but not in good conscience - they willingly exchanged a known jailed thief for someone who threatened their "power" - that evil celebrates when a good man dies does not mean the man was not good. Christ's death lead to a growing movement - almost immediately, not years after. Once again, the man will still be a fart in the wind, just like our own tyrants we've had in the past. About me talking out of point, that's not true, my points were probably outside your comprehension. Read it slowly. |
Lanre1st:Nope, not correct. There are roughly 2.5billion people on earth today who are professed Christians because of his death. 5years from now this man will still be cursed in the heart of his people. 50years from now he'll still be a fart in the wind. |
You know you've lived a very useless life, if people actually celebrate on an alleged news of your death. |
danilho:There will be time later, definitely. But first master the main skill. And yes, outsourcing is also great. You can get someone who does it or you purchase amd then sell. All the best |
Hehe... But baba say make journalists prepare before coming to his media chat na? Transparency and economic data is a very well prepared question na. 😅 |
Fashion Design - and not cut and sew. I mean better senator wears, Vintage T-shirts and suits then later add shoemaking to it - palms and sandals. If you're a very social person, customers no go hard you to find. You won't even need to have a store - you can do it anywhere - you just have to be friendly and talk to your network to help you spread the word. Phone repairs and sales of accessories is still good i guess, but that accessories part I don't think will have very high margins. Plus, are you a technical person - cos phone repairs na bolts and nuts. |
You see the irony? Them dey another secular nation where they feel safe. |
Do the crime, do the time. Beware, the time may lead to your end time. |
Just commenting so you check out my signature. Una bye bye. Happy Weekend. |
insidelife22:Apart from the checking phone own - you're my twin like this. Me no sabi shout, I will love and respect you to the moon and back. But you see respect for family and not cheating. There's no going back from there. Na that day you go commot, God purneesh anybody wey go say them wan call meeting for reconciliation. I also expect that I am held to the same standards - i no be hypocrite - so I also don't forgive. |

Nigeria, my Fatherland. More power to the military! More zeal to protect us against all forms of aggression. God bless our Democracy. God bless the Federal Republic of Nigeria. |
Experience.... For many people the thought is still there... Apart from activism, has he really held a political office that will give him the experience to understand the power system of the gymnastics thay comes with leading? Local government chairman? Governor? House of Reps? Senate? Speaker? Senate President? It takes a lot more than GOODWILL to 'rule' a volatile democracy like Nigeria. If he had started from the lower echelon since last 3 general elections, he would have made much impact by now. |
Were Egbetokun and Disu once Tinubu's ADC? Did Egbetokun and Disu once serve as ADC to Tinubu? You're welcome. |
Truthday:Power is not power if it is enforced by a treaty. |
Namaster:Very well said. Duff my hat for you. MOSSAD is not as mighty as it may appear however far reaching their tentacles may appear - the thing with intelligence is that it can be poisoned with falsehood too. May the best world police win. |
