A Nigerian man named Valentine has taken to social media to share the last moment he had with his soldier friend who was killed by Boko Haram on April 14 in Maiduguri.Below is what he wrote(I feel like crying after reading it).....

.then I called. The moment the video connected, he burst into his normal cheer and I joined him. Then usually, we caught up so much on old times,we talked about my dread which I cut in 2015.We talked about my visit to his hometown Wareke which he invited me and I visited in 2014, where I met his parents,his big sis who is also a soldier,we talked about his semblance with Mutiu his immediate younger bro,and kadiri the home youngest.He also rebuked me for not knowing his wife and children after many years and I apologized,and promised to come and see them all on his next visit. We were on for more than an hour,and as usual Billy was all cheers.We talked about a few more things then I pleaded to leave and he agreed because he was going to get some medications for the IDPs  (HE'S  a medical personnel).
Only for me to come on facebook at about 7pm on Monday 16th April 2018 to see some people posting my friends pix. I thought it was his promotion,but when I read and saw rip I died and woke up. My heart skipped 12 beats. I had goose pimples all over. RI what?for who? I quickly rushed my phone and called but his 2 lines were off.I ran to whatsapp and started sending him messages but non delivered. I didn't know that one of the best friends I will ever have had died in the arms of the boko Haram terrorists since Saturday 14th April.I cried, I begged.Oh Chocho Billy.Man of the people. My ever cheerful good friend.My greatest confidant.Chocho my partner in success.Since yesterday 16th April something huge left me.Chocho is gone.All the plans we made,everything we discussed burnt away with him like a candle in the wind.Life dealt me a crazy blow with this. I have decided never to use WAS for Billy, because to me,he lives. My eyes are sore. My legs are really weak.My heart is sinking.My very person is disorganized.Chocho why you,and why now DonChocho.Should I say RIP at the end of this?. well it's hard, but rip Billi. According to report,some foreigners suspected to be herdsmen who were heading to Benue state to cause havoc were killed when they engaged in fierce shootout with soldiers.Below is what Tracy shared....

'Last week I raised alarm that  some white men were imported into Nigeria and were accommodate d in Dado Nasarawa state for the purpose of war on Benue state. This afternoon over one hundred foreigners ambushed the Nigeria Army 72 SP BN . This a tip of the ice Burg. White people from Sudan or Libya were among them firing at the army.  The President was right when he confirmed the presence of foreigners launching attack on Benue people. Today over 500  Fulani militia were trouping into Benue through Keana. They declared that they will stop coming to kill in Benue if they will not reach IDP camp Daudu.  The armed forces are doing a good job. We are proud of them. President must make one pronouncement  to stop the killing in Benue and Nasarawa state government will comply.

3 IPOB members have been charged to court by Nigerian police for the possession of IPOB flags.

The 3 youths were charged to court and got remanded in prison in Awka under Terrorism Act Laws. The matter was adjourned till the 30th of this month.

What got me rolling on the floor are the reactions from IPOB supporters.

A fatal motor accident has just occurred along Modern Market road, after Bolek filling station Makurdi, Benue State between a high lander jeep driver and an okada rider.The okada rider, identified as Monday Oche died at spot.

Last nights at Tati in Takum LGA of Taraba state at about 8pm, the Fulani herdsmen attacked the above named village and killed about four innocent villagers. 

The villagers were resting outside due cool breeze before the herdsmen came and opened fire,rained bullets on them and killed four.

Tati is a village in Takum which happens to be the LGA where were General TY Danjuma is from and scores of attacks have happened since the very day he called on Nigerians to be alert and take the security challenges befalling our nation.

There was tragedy in lfitedunu,Anambra as the second son of late Osuofia l of lfitedunu stabbed his elder brother after a scuffle and he died in the process.It is unclear what led to the scuffle.

His Excellency Dr Abdullahi Umar Ganduje OFR today presented a cheque of N3Million to the family of Kano Pillars player, late Chinedu Odojie who died after an accident on the 19th of February. He left behind his wife and 2 kids, and other siblings. Immediately after his death, Governor Ganduje promised to assist his family and today is fulfillment of that pledge.
