Yes i will forever reside here and i will never leave. unless my husband is given some job opportunity, then i will make the sacrifice. But what i want to know is why yal are making a big deal over gini? a 2 hour date? Let him pay. It is just the first date not the rest of our lives. I mean if i was did the toasting, i would invite over to my place instead of paying to take him out.
So you'll be satisfied if he was one who was trying to get at you and on your first date, he invites you to his house.

Damn, y'all write so good. I bet you guys win competitions and stuff.

@Stephen, your murder scene was real racy. Good stuff for a thriller/horror flick. If you were going to make that a movie I think you should use Angelina Jolie as the heroine because she'll play the role perfectly.
LOL thanks. I'll look into that Jolie stuff.

This is something I should written long ago but nothing came to me. So here it is in the form of a poem,

Erotica!!! (that deep voice comes on: Ooh Yeahhh)

She pulls me into her
Close enough to hear her heart beat
Engulfed in heat
Steaming in passion
It’s almost suffocating
So I reach for her lips to breathe
We both exhale
With ease our lips meet
A kiss
Overflowing with desire
My arms hold her tighter
Her head tilts back farther
Fingers reading her body like braille
Discovering the secrets locked within her dark brown skin
A tale of the making of a queen
I whisper words to unlock her lips
She teases with my tongue on a clockwise rotation
A sensation that hyperventilates my soul
And for a moment we lose control
And fall into each other
She bites upon my bottom lip
While I nibble on my top lip
She whispers “Don’t stop baby”
She’s got me naturally intoxicated
Under the influence of this kiss
I taste this
This honey suckled treat
This amazing entanglement of body and mind
I find the equilibrium of love and lust
In this kiss
In this moment intertwined in time
All walls are broken
All pride has died
With her lips, she opens
A portal into bliss as she welcomes me in
So I express in the words of a poet who has once loved
Her lips and mine are truly the epiphany of a perfect kiss.

RomanceRe: Who Should Pay On A Date? by StephenP(m): 7:09pm On Aug 01, 2008
Whether I pay completely or let her pay for her herself is spontaneous really but a huge determining factor is how well the previous date went. So on most of my first dates, we both pay for ourselves. If it went well and I want a second date, most times I'll foot the bill. However, there was this one time a woman paid for me just because . . .

Poems For ReviewRe: The Confessions Of A Love Slave Pt.2 by StephenP(m): 4:36am On Aug 01, 2008
Well just passing by and I decided to help out. . . not really a love slave material but you get what I mean.

Here I am
Ready
Candles lit like the night stars
I lay in Egyptian cotton and dark blue silk sheets
Do I remind you of the sea?
The ruffles become waves
The current brings you to me
Today you will be my nymph
Love given passionately
You will be my fantasy
Ripped out of the pages of Greek mythology
I will lure you with my voice
Seduce you with my body
Hypnotize you with a kiss
Soft and warm
I will make you sing
Music of the flesh
You will be my instrument
I compose melodies
Plucking on the strings of lust filled moans
We create music
I hold you
We dance
We tussle
We sweat
Thrusting our hips to the beat
To the beat of passion
We create music
And with you as my instrument
I will compose melodies
I am Beethoven between the sheets
Stringing together harmonies from your tongue
A masterpiece, a wordless song
We will call this rendition
The master and the slave.

Are you kidding me??
C'mon, the first nurses were midwives, nursing is a gift from God to every woman and they've been around since Ancient Egypt
Ever heard of wet nurses before? when a suckling woman was paid to take care of Moses as a kid?

So you mean to say there were no nurses before Medical school??
As in, philosophers like Socrates and Aristotle weren't around before colleges started??

Watch what you say son, it might count against you when you start claiming to be a premed student cheesy wink wink
I'm not a premed student. I can't go through what all those people in the health field go through.

That doctor needs to be stripped of their license
will the nurse also bear part ofthe liability if she gives  wrong advice ?
a doctor asking a nurse how much to give a patient here in America or in Naija? shocked shocked shocked
that tells me how much you know

all he could ask is perhaps how much the patient weighs
every doctor has access to a desk or online PDR if you know what that means
Dang many low blows up in here. Yes doctors do ask nurses' opinions but that doesn't necessarily mean they have to do exactly as the nurse says.

Queenisha:
let me tell you something sweetie.
A nurse merely caries out a doctors instructions and the meds are written with the correct instructions and compounded by the pharmacist if in an elixir.
she need not calculate a thang!
Naw dear, you're dead wrong.

lechatte:
Stop spreading your ignorance.A nurse may carry out a doctor's instruction but if she doesn't know what she's doing, she'll never be able to spot the doctor's mistakes.Or do you think doctors know it all?
Preach on. Sometimes doctors ask for nurses' opinions on what to do and how much to give the patient.

@eldee, the midwives weren't nurses. Ability to help a woman give birth doesn't make you a nurse. You had to go to medical school and the first medical school was open to ONLY men thus, making men the first nurses. The midwives didn't learn nursing, they were only using their maternal instincts which the men obviously didn't have.

Heck, men in those days weren't even supposed to look at women in anyway, not to talk about being all up in her vagina.

Queenisha:
The general emasculation of men I say.
which mathematics does a nurse need.
How to calculate the volume of urine?

abegi
Calculate medication dosages and stuff, you're asking the wrong person though. You should ask the premed student.

Of course, men were the first to any profession. . . . .Women stay at home and cook Bengali foods. . .
After a while, men dumped em jobs because they are not mental tasking. . . . . tongue
No. I guess you didn't read it.

"More men are entering nursing as they discover that it is a competitive and challenging career. For example, when the University of Pittsburgh increased its admission requirements for its nursing program, the number of male applicants spiked significantly. Many men are also attracted to the profession after learning how important mathematics and science (fields traditionally dominated by males) are in nursing."

It has become even more challenging.

eldee:
Listen to yourself . . . Did you not hear of the hebrew MIDWIVES in the Ancient Egypt?
See you confusing Indian beliefs with reality
Did you really expect men to help in childbirth?
RomanceRe: Men, How Do You Feel When Your Woman Cries? by StephenP(m): 2:13am On Aug 01, 2008
It's funny because men were the first nurses. In fact, "when the world's first nursing school was opened in India in 250 B.C., only men were considered "pure" enough to be nurses." For further reading check out: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Men_in_nursing

When did holding your wife's hand while she's delivering your baby become a mandatory male experience?
I am not going to comment on the others because I know you were simply over exaggerating. But this, I will speak on. I am not there just because of my wife. I am there for me too. The birth of a child seems like a life changing experience and I plan to be there to witness it all and that my friend, doesn't make me any less of a man.

eldee:
There's nothing wrong with being a male nurse . . . True
But growing up wanting to be a male nurse, then that's just daft
GUILTY grin grin grin
What is wrong in wanting to be a male nurse? That is just a step away from being a doctor that every kid also wants to be.

Thank you for being honest.

@Hannibal, there's nothing wrong in being a male nurse. Maybe the kid wants to help people and give them hope as opposed to being in the army and killing people because that is a more "manly" thing to do.

De Question:
Is it wrong for your cousin from your mother's side to marry your other cousin from your father's side?

Answer:
YES!

As for me, I do not see nothing wrong marring Cousin's cousin at all! Because there is no blood relationship between them. Welther in China or here in Nigeria. If you say no they can't, you need to think again. Know who your cousin's cousin are and then think if they can love or marry.
So no, it is not wrong.

Hannibal:
The world has changed a lot since I was a little boy.
Sure, we've moved ahead as a society in certain things, we've evolved, we've gone to the moon, we have all this technology crap, but in the end we've taken more than a few steps back as far as human nature is concerned.

When I was growing up, a man's word was his life, a man's honor his most important virtue, and a man's ability to be real his most pressing social concern.
Things, unfortunately, have changed.
To put it kindly, men have become whining, pathetic losers incapable of handling a little hardship, incapable of handling criticism -- essentially we are slowly becoming women.

And here's some news, boys: the ladies agree with me. Women have noticed the feminization of men too, and despite what you might hear about the sensitive New Age clowns being the ideal Romeos women are looking for, it's total bull crap.
Women want a man who will act like a man, who will take charge, who can make decisions, who doesn't cry, and who faces fear.

So, StephenP and Chika98 should cowboy the Bleep UP and stop whining like sissies. tongue cheesy
Yo, I'm not saying men should cry all I'm saying is when your woman is crying, act like you care even if you don't because it means a lot to her that you're comforting her. C'est fini.
