UI gave you your transcript by hand? Which year was that? I went to UI and they refused giving by hand...and this was just last year. Most unis don't give by hand.

I finised from comp sci and turns out that the transcript office is now in my dept.I collected it in feb this year although I graduated since dec 2009.

Locking his VP out also is an achievement.Only God can save us in this country.

for getting a transcript by hand from naija universities is almost impossible,but you can still beat this,if you knw a lecturer or university official mostly in a foreign university, you can use the lecturer's official email addy and the school would send a softcopy of your transcript to that lecturer and once the lecturer receives it,he would only forward it to you and you can use it as many times as you want..this was wat i did to get my transcript,i actually used two lecturer's email addy,one in nigeria here and anoda in d UK,bt my school only sent to the foreign one(guess dey descriminated)

I got my official transcript in person and I paid just 3k.UI rocks

You can highlight on your strengths and weaknesses but of course your weaknesses shouldn't be over hyped so it doesn't get the prospective employer feel negative about you.

I recently attended an interview and was expecting normal first question like tell me about yourself.Surprisingly, the first question was tell me what is not on your cv and the interviewer had gone through the cv first for like 3minutes before asking the question.
Nairalanders how would you have answered it cos I just mumbled some stuffs I could remember from my cover letter.

Read and understand what I said...even if ur B.Sc is judged to be at par with AQF bachelor degree...ACS will take off two out of ur three years of relevant work experience to maintain suitability... leaving u with no points from work experience.

If u know ur ICT content is up 25%...fire on. I don't know how ACS does the calculations. If work experience is relevant to d occupation u will nominate and the years are post B.Sc qualification... they will take off two years... again no points from work. Where do u get the missing points from? That's the reality on ground.

you are good to go, pls go through this link https://www.immi.gov.au/Visas/Pages/189.aspx, u need to get ur credentials assessed, then u will now submit an expression of interest. There is an cost estimator on the website, depending on how many people u are including in the application, for husband and wife alone shud be around 700k there about, but the good thing its very straightforward

The Transcript can only be sent with the certified copy of ur BSc degree which can be certified by ur University.

To be on the safe side and to prevent rejection of your transcript, I will advise you leave the sending of your transcript to be done by your University.

Before you even talk about transcript you need to do the following.
1. Search on www.studyinfinland.fi for schools and MSc programs that are offered in English.
2. Select courses/schools that you will like to apply to.
3. Visit the university's website, review and understand the requirements.
4. Decide on the Test if English Language that you will sit for. Pick one out of IELTS, TOEFL or PTE Academic
5. Pass the Test of English Language.... Min score required for MSc application for IELTS is usually 6.5 and for PTE 54 or 62.
6. Get all necessary docs required for your application, notarized/certified certificates (BSc degree and WAEC), motivation letter, transcript etc.
7. Certificates can be notarized at any high court in the country.... did mine for 70 naira per copy at Ikeja High Court.
8.Wait for application period to commence and ensure that you send all required documents to the school or UAF (if UAF us in charge) in good time.
