Proposed bonus
Two (2) new ordinary shares of 50 kobo to every hundred (100) existing ordinary shares held by Company shareholders
was proposed at the board meeting held on February 27, 2024 and subject to approval at the Annual General Meeting.

1. Review of activities
Principal activities
The principal activities of the Company include the processing of raw salt into refined, edible and grade salt. The Company
also produces seasoning cubes.
The Company recorded a profit after taxation of N13.73 billion (2022: N5.47 billion) for the year.
2023 interim dividend paid is 100 kobo per share (2022: 100 kobo per share).
Proposed bonus for 2023 two (2) new ordinary shares of 50 kobo to every hundred (100).

At 31 December
At the Annual General Meeting held on 26 May 2023, the shareholders approved that dividend of 100 kobo per ordinary
share amounting to N2.649 billion be paid to shareholders for the year ended 31 December 2022.
In the current year an interim dividend of 100 kobo per ordinary was approved and paid on 17 November 2023 to the
shareholders
A bonus issue in respect of the year ended 31 December 2023 amounting to 52,988,767.56 ordinary shares to be
distributed as fully paid-up ordinary shares to existing shareholders whose name appears in the Register of Members as at
the close of business on 6 May 2024, in the proportion of two (2) new ordinary shares of 50 kobo to every hundred (100)
existing ordinary shares held by them was proposed at the board meeting held on February 27, 2024 and subject to
approval at the Annual General Meeting.

NASCON is a buy from my own amateur perspective ooo. *DD applies*

If it's true that a special dividend of N5.18k is declared and is confirmed, investors will likely rush it. That's my opinion.
* Bonus of 2:100 already mentioned in the FY report.

As for DANGSUGAR, one entity is currently offloading @50 in market.....

but there is nothing like that in their 2023 AFS only the proposed bonus was stated .

Away from transcorp. I once said the market will not crash because politics is now at play in nse.The spokes person for the government has already announced 100k ASi as part of this government success which they will put on thr score card
The president had meetings with the billionaires not long.Then Tony fired the first shot.The next is alhaji to fire his own via listing of the food and subsequently other companies. The third may be wale,likely hood of not delisting oando. This 3 big entities can push ASi to 150k by end of the year.Remember the government wants all the dollars it can get to stabilise the naira. Asi at 150k will attract FPI into the country....this is me thinking aloud .

I am surprised Nascon truly had the meeting yesterday and there was no prior notification .This is a surprise as only prior notification of Dangote sugar was known
