Angelfrost:
Where we went wrong??!... Let's start from the following:

1. We threw morals to the dogs, and chose to worship money and elevated those with it, regardless of where they got it.
2. We chose to be selfishly bigoted, and will only support and vote in people from our tribes, even when they are hopeless and clueless idiots.
3. We fail to unite and speak with one voice on the failings of our leaders rather choosing to play ethnic politics over everything.

The points above can never allow any nation in the universe make progress... This nation is doomed!!!
Spot on and well said.Someone some time back said it's like PMB is under a trance. Now it is clearly and evidently showing that.

Crime › Re: 3 Brothers Who Kidnapped And Murdered A Mother Of 5 in Abuja Arrested By Police by sterlingD(m): 8:36am On Jun 05, 2020
I think parents need to reasses what they tell their children, what they teach their children and the kind of training they give their children. In as much as they need to motivate their children, they need to be watch their children closer then ever and be careful of what and how they push their children.

All these trend of getting rich by all means should be jettisoned and erased from mind set.Parents should stop this trend of showing off with their children and showing off their children. It is putting the children under pressure and driving the children into ugly, unhealthy and dangerous competition. We are living in perilous times.

Those men should have established a relationship for job opportunities or business opportunities with the woman instead they chose to do this.

If you ve any relative in the military just advise the person to resign cause this Boko Haram is a booming business to our politicians and Generals
Competence has been sacrificed on the altar of loyalty

For the sake of the children and families on both sides of the divide, both parties should reconcile.lf it is to reconcile and part ways temporary for sanity to ensue do so.But if it is to part ways permanently let it be amicably.

Romance › Re: At 41, Am I Getting Married Too Late? by sterlingD(m): 8:29am On May 13, 2020
gabicon:
First of all it's never too late to be right, the best time to make a good decision is yesterday, the next best time is now. However life is programmed to run on a schedule meaning there is time for everything. Let's create an hypothetical situation, let's say you get married today and have kids today, you will be in your mid sixties training a child or children in higher institutions of learning. Mid sixties is the retirement age, so while many of your friends are traveling the world and enjoying their grandchildren you will be training yours. Raising children takes energy and time, the older you are the more difficult it can be because you don't have that youthful energy of a 27 year old at 41. Lastly, most of your plans will have to be on fast track because of you really don't have time.

As I said earlier it's never too late to be right, have a robust plan of how you intend to build your family based on your current state and future projections.
I see wisdom in the above in Bold

Family › Re: My Wife Is Angry With Me Because I Bought Underwears For Her Niece by sterlingD(m): 4:09pm On May 05, 2020
There is a misunderstanding here.He did not personally buy the undies for the wife's niece. He took the niece out along with his kids to buy clothes. The niece did the selecting and he did the paying along with that of his kids.

In effect he only paid for the wife's niece cloths he did not select the wife's niece cloths;undies.

What the wife did is emotional blackmail. She is trying to cover for her inactions
Family › Re: My Wife Is Angry With Me Because I Bought Underwears For Her Niece by sterlingD(m): 3:51pm On May 05, 2020
Plut01:
You think that wife won't beat the day light out of the niece if she tries that?
A wife has already termed her 15 years old niece as competitor.
Then the wife should not have brought the niece to the house.
