Boss! Nor mind me, i just weak. I was @ union bank earlier today... Yes! They have FormA but the ishh is with the fund.. The guy in-charge said he's been on some(though,it involves dolls not euro) for some weeks now... So he said its a 50-50 thing... When i quizzed further about money gram,ria and western union, he said the said amount(8040) is too much for such transfer. I don't have an acct with them, had to collect the opening acct form. Any luck with yours?

Yea...Honestly its tough to be a Nigerian.

The system is as corrupt as hell..do you know that this commercial banks sell their quota of forex to their allies who in turn sell it at black mkt.

For example..first bank of Nigeria Benin has a daily limit of 198000 naira for money gram...thats abt 840 euros (230naira to 1euros)....But the sad part is that u can never get this from them..as early as 8am they will tell u they ve exceed the daily limit ..come next day same thing...what do dey do?

Answer they send the money out to their frnds abroad (840 euros) who in turn send it back to them via azimo or whatever (309 or so to 1naira..) so evey day the guy sittin there makes abt 50k naira. In a mth they can make up to 1million naira this is just money gram ...they ve other sections where similar racketting is going on.

A friend of mine who is tryin to pay for accommodation visited 4 branches same problem..even went to Uba same issue...even the bank managers re involved...one banker confided in him that he didnt go on annual leave because of this racketting.

The cbn solution is also wacked...so we all shld suffer cos of a few...doesnt make sense to me.....as usual all their policies re wacked!

Why nt clamp down on the banks ..no if there is a problem u ban everything..no consideration for pple who re affected..what a sensless govt.

Same way they re askin pple to pay 50 naira as stamp cos we re broke and need to get money...when oil was $140 per barrel and the budget benchmark was $75 per barrel ..did we get 50naira free from the govt..hell no..



Did we save anything hell no..did we build infrastructures consumerate to our earnings durin the boom period nope...go to dubai.. u will see the evidence of oil boom.

Now back to the present administration...as usual wasteful as hell no econimic road map..nothing...the budget they presented is abt same as previous govt.

Very soon the naira will be worth nothin more than the paper it is printed on.

I ve no degree in economics ...but we re nt doing the right thing.

Civil Engineering
Electrical Engineering

is it possible for any of the above undergraduate courses to be taught in english in germany?

if yes, please give me the names of the universities and i would proceed from there.

Yea... Get the scratch card and attach it to your WAEC/NECO certificate... Don't know if the checklist is changed now.... Just package your certificates,sworn affidavit for age,your app form and the questionnaire...Dolpaz posted the checklist sometimes ago,the only thing you might add is the self addressed envelope from a courier service. Went to the German embassy in abuja all the way from kano as you said but I was so disappointed, they refused to certify my documents, claiming they are on break til 16th of feb.

Mehn! You should have e-mailed them before going na.... But all the same,someone gave you an option of certifying @ the highcourt or using a notary public. Funny thing is i certified my docs using both highcourt and a notary pub... They are all acceptable. The only ishh you might have is with your school,make sure you read through the specifications for certification of documents and you can also e-mail the course coord just to be very sure... My Interview

We had to wait for hours because there were much applicants for family reunion.

Make sure you practice the mathematics questions posted on here earlier and do ensure you are good with your square root and Pythagoras theorem (I'm poor with figures, sure you don't wana be like me.. lol)

Though, i wasn't given mathematics initially because she asked me what i wanted ( na divine favor o). She gave me management questions: What is art of management? What are management styles? forgotten the other one.

I was given an S.O.P to write, reasons for going to Germany for Bsc/Msc (first applicant to write an s.o.p).

For my oral interview, they were the normal questions we've shared here.... Why Germany? Why the course? Why Bsc/Msc? Attractions in Germany? Your city? First president? Course modules? How many semesters? and other stuffs.

HINT: if i tell you say i ace the interview, then i dey downgrade God be that....... So tey the V.O offer me and my pal water (may be cus say she too delay us)... Just be focused, pray hard and have faith. God is the author and finisher of our faith.... God is just the standard.

Timeline
interview- January 12
Mail to fund- January 13
Db details- 21 of January and 2 of Feb
Am mail- 1 feb
Arrival of package- 8 feb.

I gast let you all know that i didn't use leadway nor IGI..... I used Standard Alliance Life Assurance (15.624), it's good too.

With a sincere gratitude to the blessed 'TRINITY' i wish to share my testimony that my package was delivered to me today with my visa. The journey started last winter, though i missed out on getting an offer from Siegen (i applied late and was bitter, never knew God has a bigger plan). I got back to the drawing board with words of encouragement from beautiful people on here, God gave me a reason to trust in Him by applying to schools available for summer.

I had my interview early January and got the funding mail the next morning, with a note to correct the age of birth on my passport. Mehn! had to travel down to Abuja to face immigration but all thanks to God for His divine favor, i got it done within a few days. I scanned the new passport and sent it to the embassy, in between these days/weeks i kept on waiting for the db acct details (i was worried but had faith in God) before it was sent to me finally. Yea, passport corrected and db details gotten but here comes the funding ishh. Last week Monday the am mail dropped without funding, yea! Is God not awesome? With speed i got to Lagos few days later, and today my package arrived. Glory!!!!!
