Kindly give examples of the bolded. Thanks.
jedisco:
Just like @einsteine said above, I will add 2 things...

1. Just like most international traded commodities/securities suvh as hold, oil e.t.c most folks who trade it follow it's value in dollars for uniformity. It's value in naira or any local currency would be a based on how that currency converts to the dolar.
For example, if one unit is 42000 dollars, it's value in naira is = 42000x 470 (exchange rate). We know that the exchange rate of the naira is all over the place so following the value in naira also has that extra volatility.

Now, to what I believe is confusing you. One b1tco1n can be divided into much smaller units. So if the value of one is 20million naira, and you buy a sum of 1 million, what youre buying is 0.05 b1tco1n.

2. I wouldn't absolutely stay off buying anything from nairaland. There are regulated and safe exchanges which are readily available. What you may be sold here may just be nothing

What's your take on Fidson and Pz, are they fundamentally good sticks?
Mcy56:
I doubt if bargainers will allow the price to go down below markdown price.
Below N1 is still a good buy self.

Boss, mutual funds don’t guarantee returns. The markets for the underlying investments determine the performance of mutual funds. Would take that info with a pinch of salt.

Bros, kindly help with the bolded
Donbrig:
I totally agree with this article. Every bank in Nigeria has a foreign bank account they operate from when dealing with foreign currencies and customers, I can only imagine how they could easily reach an agreement with Western Union or MoneyGram to easily pay all foreign currencies by Nigerians sending money home into their foreign accounts and our banks will now pay the recipients in Nigeria with naira equivalent, what a country.

My firm advise to Nigerians abroad is to drastically reduce the way they send money to Nigeria and invest in their country of residence abroad, Nigeria is a scam and a complete failure.

We are still going to be where we are today in the next 20yrs, I said it before. We also heard our Chief of Army staff saying boko-haram will last for another 20yrs or more, it is just the simple truth, because lots of wealthy Nigerians and big corporations like banks are making so much profits from this present chaos and decadence in Nigeria and they will do everything to ensure nothing change for good in the interest of the masses.

To Nigerians in Diapora, go to your banks and ask questions, there are so many investment channels you could invest your money, I just got about 6% in a mutual investment funds in a well know financial institution in Europe. You could also buy lands or apartments and pay instalmentally.

Nigeria is a dead end and a dream killer. No future for our children in that God forsaken country called Nigeria. Everybody breaths greed and live in greed.

Ok. My own dollar investment is with a Fintech company called RISEVEST. You can google them. With them you can invest in US Real Estate, US stocks and Eurobond. Rated are per annum.

Eurobond is 10% to 12% per annum.(Low risk) ROI guaranteed.

Real Estate is 13% -15% per annum (Medium risk). The rates are not guards but last year the plan made 17% per annum.

Stock (High Risk) - 12% to 14% per annum. Not guaranteed. Through last year the plan made 27% per annum.

You can check my signature for more details.

Actually it is my money but since I am living abroad, there is no way I can access TB and so I told her to go and open an account with her name on first bank. So she is investing the money on my behave through her account. This is my first time doing TB and since I am not around it is her that know no knowledge about it will go to the bank and so it wasn't that easy. Well today she went to a First bank branch that is in my town and the banker told her that there is nothing like primary market and that primary market is done by the bank and then sell to customers in secondary market. Since I am sure that we can do primary market from what I have been reading here on Nairaland, I told her to insist and even threaten to withdraw all the money in that account and find another bank. Yet the banker insisted and tell her to shut down the account if she wants. No be small thingoo, I even began to doubt is a customer can bid in primary market.

But then I told her to go to another branch of first bank. When she got there, she told me that they give her primary bid form without any hustle. Also the the bank rate was 17.0% for 182 days. Finally her to come on Thursday to check if the bid was successful. I hope it will be
Thanks for the eye opener, I'm in same shoes as yours. So you mean everything was done in your name but through her account? Which day of the week did she go to the bank? Thanks.

Thanks bro finally she went to another bank branch and the bid was successful at 17.0%. she was told to return to the bank on Thursday to check if the bid was successful. So finally I did my first TB investment.

A bottle of Guinness that have been very helpful here,. A grateful heart
Hey bro/sis, could you please throw more light on how she got It done and what bank? From your previous posts I thought the TB was for her but reading through this I guess it's yours. Is there a possibility of parents or siblings helping to initiate the investment without being physically present?

I sent you a pm a though.

Thanks.

Hello guys, please I have one question. If I write my IELTS for another reason, say for advanced studies, and I then want to use it for Canada immigration at a later date, is that possible?
Yes, just make sure you indicate for personal reasons and the country you intend to migrate while submitting your application online.

Cheers.
PoliticsRe: Is It Right For President Buhari To Address The Nation In Hausa? by stevemims(m): 12:58am On Jun 26, 2017
Exactly, my thought as well. I see a possibility of a dubbed voice note from the president, the question now is who is fooling who? Nor be small market we buy for this country.
ZUBY77:
If you have half sense, you would know that the trick worked.

Those managing Buhari deliberately created that audio Hausa record to keep you arguing why your nation should be addressed in a local dialect rather than official last English.

See as all of you are arguing why he used Hausa, while forgetting that the voice itself may not be who you think it is.

She has a traininig certificate in fashion designing, Could you please shed more light on what TRA is?
bellong:
@Mijac,

60 points is good for the Occupation but having above 60 increases your chance in the pool.

@Stevemims,

If she has a recognised qualification in fashion designing, she can assess with TRA.

@Moscow30,

There's no point rewriting the English test except you have not met the mandatory minimum of 6.0 in each band.

You have a nomination already, you are no longer competing.

Fiancee is 29 years old, a graduate of public administration (2012), but she's a fashion designer with apprenticeship certificate (she has her own brand since 2014, though not registered). I've looked through through STSOL, and under CLSO there is fashion designer. My question is, how would she be assessed, with her educational qualification or just her job experience? I need some insights folks. Thanks

Looking forward to sharing my experience at the right time.

NB: The 'God' factor is key here (though not easy to keep the faith in Him but its worth it).
