Could there be other symptoms to check out on the car or just the leaking exhaust? Cause people are telling me the following ;
-Intake air leaks
- Fuel injectors may be faulty
- Fuel injector leaks
- Spark plugs may be faulty
- Improper ignition timing
-Three way catalyst converter Bank 1

It's a 6 cylinder 3.5L engine 2004 Maxima S.L (Dagrin)

I took my Maxima on a out-of-the-state journey and through some very rough Lagos roads ( Ajao estate bad roads, Barracks estate, ogudu terrible roads). After a couple of days I suddenly noticed ' Service engine soon' showing on the dashboard.

I did a scan on the car and got the following error codes:
p0420 - Catalyst System Efficiency Below Threshold (Bank 1)

p0328 - Knock Sensor Circuit High Input

Please what could these do to the engine? What is the implication of driving the car with these codes still on? How can these be fixed?

I also noticed the car makes a louder/deeper sound than before when revved. This happens after the codes now when I accelerates i do hear a more deep/loud sound.

Kindly help your inputs will be appreciated.

michelism: Please how do I carry out a test on my car to detect a fault?

Get a scanning device and scan the car. But I should guess correctly u wont be able 2 do that so u need to meet an automechanic or ask for any mechanic that has a scanner to scan for you and let you know the codes that it brings out .

You can google those codes or post it here on nairaland the gurus here will help analysis it and tell you where to go 4rm there.

Goodluck but remeber the scanning thing will cost you between N5k - N10K (greedy automechanics)

But Lagos cleared cars are way too expensive especially USA cars. I'm on a small budget.

I'm about getting a ride. However someone put a scare into me that I shouldnt even considered Cotonou cars.

His reason being that customs officers are always on the heels of such cars and the owner will always run into trouble almost everytime with them and even with the police leading to payment of all sort of money to all these uniform men just to avoid their troubles. He then suggested that Lagos cleared vehicle is hitch free as custom mens and the police seldom harrass the owner of such .

Please can someone help me out on the price to replace my front four (4) teeth denture.

My denture got broken yesterday morning. I urgently needed to replace this denture because it's for my front teeth.

The problem is when I go to dental clinic here in Victoria Island ( I work in Victoria Island and I only can run around during my one hour break).

They dont tell u the price but ask you to register with high prices. Only for them to tell you the price I cant afford.

I have registered for two of such clinics at the rate of N8000.

Pls someone help me as i dont wanna keep wasting money registering for dentures I cant afford.

If I can get prices I will know the right clinic to go and register and replace the denture.
